Every time we going south or on your way up north we stay and enjoy the beautiful campground and the poeples.

Very nice campground with many outside points of interest in the area. Campground’s clean and mostly shady sites. The only negative is the lack of bathhouses. Our site was at the very back and the only bathhouse was at the camp store at the front entrance. We drove to get a shower and saw others doing the same.

The campground was beautiful! It was secluded and quiet. The sites were level with lots of room between sites and lovely trees and grass allowing room for privacy and the enjoyment of all the birds and squirrels. The laundry room was small but clean and had a basket to transfer clothes without dropping. :-D. We loved our stay at KOA Harrisonburg and we were sad to have to leave.

Lovely park, tucked into a wooded area. Especially appreciate that it was not next to a highway. Clean bathroom and laundry facilities. Delighted to have a dog park too. Friendly and helpful staff.

The electric pole that does not work on site 49 needs to be removed. It was hard to attach water without scraping your hands!

Traveling and needed a unscheduled stay, called late in the day, found very helpful staff- arrived after office had closed, placed into a very nice site with easy hookups. Have used this KOA before and have never been disappointed.

We were so impressed with how easy it was to get to. It was nice to have signs to follow. Loved the patriotism. Being veterans, it was so welcoming. We loved the site markers. Most KOAs, they are hard to spot. The campground is gorgeous and staff so friendly. It’s obvious you put a lot of thought and time into accommodating your campers. We would definitely stay again.

We needed a place for an overnight stay at the last minute and fortunately there was a spot available. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the campground was awesome and we will have it in our list of revisits.

We were only there one night as we passed through on our way west but easily concluded that it is a very nice KOA and we have stayed at many. Some campgrounds, KOA’s included, often use their poorer sites for overnighters but this site was very nice and we might add very level. No dunnage or tire blocking required. This is a very scenic and attractive park carved into a hillside. The site was level and had a patio. Restrooms were clean.

We’ve stayed twice now and both times the campground was fantastic. Everyone in the office is friendly and responsive too. We already have another reservation!

We loved this campground. It was a quick stop over for us, so unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy everything The area has to offer. The bathrooms were very clean updated and warm. The campground had plenty of gravel which we love. We walked around after a long day of driving. The store had free coffee and tea and anything you might possibly want or need. We will definitely stay here again.

This was just a 1 night stopover, but this RV Park is always well maintained, clean and the restroom/showers are excellent.

Stayed on lot 10. No complaints. Found the WIFI was great. Was able to stream shows through the TV using the WIFI. Maybe the demand on the WIFI was not there, as many spots were open this time of year. With your TV cable hookup, you may want to include ABC, CBS and NBC networks.

This is absolutely my favorite KOA campground! The campground staff is very pleasant and helpful. It's very clean and well taken care of. They are continually adding improvements and touches to make it more user friendly and pleasant.

Off the main highway a bit but well worth it. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. Have stayed here twice. Love it!! This KOA is on my list to stay frequently on our trips down south.

My camp site was fairly level and private. The one quality I noticed most was “quiet”. This campground is so quiet at night. It was wonderful. There is a nice woods hiking trail that starts at the campground. Only a couple miles, out and back. Unfortunately it is cut short by a no trespassing sign. Oh well. All in all a great KOA to stop at for a few days and tour the area.

We have stayed here before, and had many good stays. This time we were screamed and sworn at when we protested being moved from our reserved spot to one very far away from the restrooms. When we tried to explain our medical issues made this difficult the manager said “I don’t care about your husband. You can take this site or leave,” after we had paid. We felt threatened and disrespected.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We attempted to fix your issue before you were asked to leave. You refused to accept that we had power issues and had to move numerous guests. You were asked to accept what we had or leave and your attitude upset staff and guests. You are no longer welcome at our campground

We arrived after office was closed, easy to find my paperwork and the map. I was able to get to my site easy. The site was large and clean. This is a beautiful campground in the hills. It’s quite and clean and friendly!

Very nice KOA. It's in the woods with tons of trees and shade. Sites are spread out so you are not packed in next to your neighbors like many campgrounds. I was also able to move around easily with my 33 ft trailer. Would absolutely stay here again.

One of the best koa facilities I've been to in a while. Roads are well kept, staff is kind, sites are nicely place with plenty of trees, activities to do if you feel like it and a decent pool. Not much to complain about here. Thanks for making this a home away from home!
