Site was perfect, backed to woods , almost level and included everything. Near a great trail, dog friendly. Great little camp store. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there to see some of the area so we didn’t end up using the pool. But did use the dog park one evening.

Down hill odor from chicken coups was terrible. We got the absolutely worse site. #24. We were staring very closely to the side of the next RV. Meanwhile, some beautiful, wooded sites were left empty our entire 3 nights. Bath house smelled. Why is this place considered a KOA?

We are so sorry that you feel like your experience was terrible. Did you attempt to speak with management at all? As the Manager we take this seriously and always respond to guests. Giving a bad review does not fix issues after you check out.

This was a stop over on our way home from Nashville and they were very welcoming and the campground was orderly and clean. We will definitely be back for destination stay here and to visit the area. Todd and Mary

Very clean and super friendly staff. They are doing upgrades to some of the sites and it looks fantastic!!! The kids had a great time as well.

The campsite was very spacious and nice. The bathhouse was very clean. For the size of the campground we felt there should be at least one more bathhouse. All in all we had a good time. We made the best with the rainy weather. If ever in the area, we would go back again.

Shady, cool, and quiet. Friendly staff. I was only there for one night as a stopover on a trip, but it was a nice place to rest and overnight.

Stayed overnight 6/25/2026 at site #59. Enjoyed a very peaceful evening at a great KOA campground. Highly recommended. Planning a future trip to the area with this KOA as base camp.

We were running super late in our trip and arrived at the campground almost 10 pm. I was worried about the office being closed and how would we know where to go. I was relieved to see they put an envelope out with our name and site number. The campground was clean and beautiful. I also had to get breakfast essentials in the store and was very happy with the selection of items available.

Overall, I had a great experiences at the Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley KOA. I was in site 56 which was large and private (for a KOA). Many KOA spots are right on top of one another. This spot had space!! One drawback was the site was not really level. I was in a motorhome and had to park a little cockeyed in order to finally get my rig level. The wifi was srong and the staff was very friendly.

We have stayed here several times traveling through for work trips to Delaware is a very nice well maintained campground the people who host here are very nice!

Site 37 utility connection are surrounded by red mud. Made a big mess of water hose, electric line and sewer hose. Needs gravel or something to cover the mud. Very messy.

We loved our stay. Very quiet and cozy campground. Sites were very nice and spacious. Amenities were great. My son and I played disk golf a few times. The pool was heated and very comfortable. Definitely will stop by again if traveling thru.

Had a great day. The campground was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Delivered wood, ice and food (I.e pizza) to your campsite. Was our first trip not going to be our last.

This is a great KOA. We had a patio site which had a really cool deck and the furniture was great. Lots of shade trees, pool fantastic campground staff are fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again.

It was hot and muggy and looking for a campground we could hook up to so we could run our a/c instead of using the generator. They allowed us to stay in their 'overflow' spot which was absolutely perfect. Easy to find once we arrived and we were in for the night.

Very clean and well-maintained KOA. Sites are well spaced with plenty of room between. Did not use bath house or restroom but would presume they are clean as well. Close to Shenandoah National Park.

Sadly we arrived in rain and left in rain and did not get a chance to walk around or enjoy the park. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent overnight stay! The staff was professional, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Great amenities, plenty of games and activities for the kids, and a well-stocked gift shop with nice items. Everything was clean and enjoyable. We look forward to staying again!

Staff are friendly and professional. Very accomodating with our needs. The only issue with the site is, its not a kids friendly environment i.e. basically no kids outdoor activities or events

We are sorry that we did not meet your needs for the kids. We do offer a wide range of games for the kids that are both inside and outside as well as our pool. We only offer planned activities on Saturdays due to the lack of staff during the week. We hope you find a campground that you enjoy.

It was a peaceful trip. The staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. We will be back the next two years as my husband attends the United Methodist Virginia Annual Conference.

Very nice KOA. It's in the woods with tons of trees and shade. Sites are spread out so you are not packed in next to your neighbors like many campgrounds. I was also able to move around easily with my 33 ft trailer. Would absolutely stay here again.

One of the best koa facilities I've been to in a while. Roads are well kept, staff is kind, sites are nicely place with plenty of trees, activities to do if you feel like it and a decent pool. Not much to complain about here. Thanks for making this a home away from home!
