This was a one night stop on our drive home.We arrived late in the evening and they had our paperwork and directions to our site all mapped out for us. The campsite was clean and easy to get in and out of. We hope to come visit again. When we can stay longer.

Thank you for a wonderful quiet stay while we visited Bucees. Nice grounds, clean restrooms and 24 hr laundry was just what we needed for a little get away.

Wonderful, very pleased and you're open year round! Site was level, quiet and looked like the whole campground was in good shape. Impressed with the brand new electrical pedestals with 50 amps. We'll be back!!

We had a one night stop on the way south for the winter. Appreciate them being open all year. One of the prettiest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Large sites in a woodsy setting. They were all decorated for the Holidays. We would absolutely stay here again.

Staff was 50/50, the husband and wife “ mangers”was awesome and informative but the rest seemed we were bothering them. WiFi was terrible and whoever cleans the men’s bathroom left a huge pile of black hair( last stall) for 3 nights and was finally removed the 4th day, so while the bathroom was clean with super hot water, the cleaner was lacking. Overall it was just an ok stay.

The campground is very clean and easy to move through. Bathrooms were always clean. The Naked Bee hand and body lotion was an amazing amenity in the women's bathroom. Thank you! This was truly a hidden gem tucked away in the rolling farm hills of Shenandoah Valley. We've talked about coming back in the summer to enjoy one of the caverns and some river activities.

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley is the best KOA that I have stayed at. They are very helpful and friendly, the WIFI is fantastic, they filled me up with propane and sent me on my way. I have stayed there four times already and will be coming back at Christmas.

Great place with lots to do in the area. The only downside was a full day of listening to an excavator in the campsite next to us but thankfully it was only one day and we realize they need to work to make improvements. Just wasn’t expected. Overall a great place and we’d come again!

I had another positive stay at this campground. Quiet. Despite the staff being off for Thanksgiving break, they still came by to pick up trash and the bathroom/showers remained clean. Nice site with a good fire pit.

I think that because the sites are mainly stone and not gravel, it is difficult to keep them level. And, the entire campground, while beautiful, is built on the side of a hill. I needed to adjust my location on the site when I couldn’t level the motorhome without lifting a front tire off the ground.

This was my first ever KOA stay and it's turned me into a KOA devotee for life! The office staff was easy to get ahold of, friendly, and helpful in answering my questions. They texted me on the day of my reservation to see if I'd be arriving after hours, and when I got there, it was quick and easy to find my site and get settled even in the dark. It was a beautiful, clean, peaceful campground.

We stay here several times a year because of the beautiful setting in the woods and the obvious care the staff takes to keep the park simply beautiful. This is a great KOA! Our only issue here is the weak WiFi. It often fails to even open a website. During one such failure an error message stated that the network this campground uses is widely used in the area. Guess it’s a bandwidth issue.

This is a very nice KOA in the sense that it is not all concrete with people packed in every 5 feet or so. Instead, sites were quite spacious and there were plenty of woods to enjoy. Check in and check out were smooth.

Our second time here and they did were terrific again. Campground is away from the highway so it is quiet, bathrooms clean, and staff friendly. Needed to fix a tire and they provided a great recommendation. Perfect visit.

We stay here often when visiting our son who attends JMU. Very friendly and helpful staff and well maintained grounds and facilities.

Very nice KOA. It's in the woods with tons of trees and shade. Sites are spread out so you are not packed in next to your neighbors like many campgrounds. I was also able to move around easily with my 33 ft trailer. Would absolutely stay here again.

One of the best koa facilities I've been to in a while. Roads are well kept, staff is kind, sites are nicely place with plenty of trees, activities to do if you feel like it and a decent pool. Not much to complain about here. Thanks for making this a home away from home!
