It was a very nice stay. I stayed in a cabin and was very surprised to see a mini fridge, microwave, and tv there. Most other cabins were bare. The staff definitely were friendly and helpful.

Honestly so impressed with the critter lodge. The weather was crap when we were in town, but the accommodations were great and helped make up for it. Will definitely be back!

My family and I had a great stay in a camping cabin. Hosts were informative and helpful. There were repairs being made during our stay to the bathhouse but they were great in sending camp wide updates and info. It was very quiet and we enjoyed walking on the hiking trail as well. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Deer Lodge and the accommodations were very well maintained. An issue with the hot water was discovered but the staff corrected it as soon as we reported it. Would definitely consider staying there again if in the area. Big shout out to the staff who returned an item we had left behind.

We had a very nice stay. Everything went well. It was our first winter camping experience. It was fun. The staff were very polite, friendly and professional!!

It's always an enjoyable stay here! We've tent camped, stayed in our RV, and rented a lodge and all 3 stays have been amazing. It's our favorite KOA.

Absolutely LOVE this campground!! We stayed last year multiple weeks with our camper and this year in one of their cabins. It was wonderful and LOVE the couple that Managers it as well as the rest of the staff. Super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will be back many more times!!

Great campground. One room cabin is a bit over priced, but at the same time, it’s fabulously clean and I thought it was great. Bathrooms were impeccable as well. Office staff super friendly and responsive. It was quiet, people were friendly. I really like it!!

Lovely staff and incredibly clean facilities. I saw staff cleaning the bathroom almost every time I went in there. This KOA is a hidden gem, and we look forward to our stay for the Halloween festivities every year! Perfect for young children and they put a lot of thought into their decor and activities for the holidays.

We enjoyed our stay in Deluxe Cabin L02. The amenities and provisions were very nice. It was a comfortable cabin. The WiFi signal was rather weak, and we had difficulty connecting to stream movies but we managed to connect a couple of times so that we were able to watch a couple of movies. The outdoor lighting could have been better as the steps leading from the deck to the cabin door were dark.

Charged for my service dog because she didn't have a placard. Federal law does not require placards. Virgina does. Not a resident of Virginia. So paid extra for a pet when she is not a pet. Don't know how they can make non resident service dogs comply with a law above what the feds require. Have contacted the state to find an answer.

Everyone who worked at the campground was extremely friendly. I will definitely go back again soon. The campground was clean and had a lot of Halloween decorations out for the season.

This is one of the best stays we have had at a KOA. It suited us well as a base camp for exploring the area. It is very clean, friendly just a nice campground all around.

Cute, clean, well-appointed cabin! Wish the invite for coffee worked for us, but we were usually out before 9am, when the office opened. Nicely situated for JMU and Shenandoah and caves visits. As with many places these days, it felt a little crowded with not much space between sites. Fresh produce and eggs nearby and decorated nicely for halloween!

There is a reason that this stay was at least our 3rd or 4th stay. We always stay in one of the lodges. We always have a great experience. Campground is clean and the staff are great. This has been our go to place in the Shenandoah Valley at least once a year. See you next time!

The was cabin with no bathroom was clean in a beautiful location. Will be visiting again. The wifi was very weak but everything was winderful.

It was the perfect vacation. The staff are wonderful and this has been our favorite KOA to stay at by far. We will definitely be back for another stay.

This is our second time back. The new management has really impressed us and turned this place into top notch. On top of the appearance being perfect the staff was amazing. Every time we needed ice or firewood they were quick to deliver directly to our campsite. The campsite had a bunch of people working on upgrades and keeping the camp clean. We loved that they had pizza as an option for breakfast and dinner.

Campground has a homey, woodsy feel. Sites are gravel and level. Staff is very friendly.

Great campground conveniently located near Route 81 but far enough away to provide a quiet, peaceful stay. Great for a quick stop on the way or a destination itself. There is plenty to do for recreation including playground and pool. Can accommodate even the largest rigs with plenty of back-in or pull through sites. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. They work hard to meet your every need. Terry was a delight to work with and made our stay wonderful.
