We love coming to this KOA Campground. The staff are friendly, professional and always helpful. We love the trees and each campsite is different. It was a peaceful fun week. We will be back again.

Clean. Cabins were nice and had more amenities than those at beaches I have been to. The staff that we interacted with was the best. Everyone had a story to tell about where they originate from. I hope these people stay with this KOA. If they lost them they would be losing great people. I will recommend this location to others. It works as a great base camp for doing many things in the area too.

We love this camp ground it gives the feeling of being outdoors with class. . It’s clean staff is great well kept up pool is awesome and it’s safe. Sites are perfect long and wide. Laundry room is spacious and clean They make you feel special

Staff were extremely helpful, kind, and personable - while being efficient and accommodating. The lodge perfectly met our needs, and was well supplied. The location of this KOA offered access to ample and varied activities. We had a great week!

I understand the policy about no refunds due to weather but tree branches fell on us. And the only solution you have is to make us pay extra for a cabin. Pass. We left early

We are so sorry that tree limbs fell on the canopy of your tent. Campgrounds cannot control mother nature and the weather. This was a quick pop up shower that gave a lot of rain and wind in a very short time. We did offer a more comfortable stay in a cabin but you chose to leave.

Probably one of the nicest and most well run KOA’s we have ever visited! The setting is wooded and beautiful and so quiet! We will definitely return if traveling in the area!

We were warmly welcomed by the office staff to your beautiful park. Our RV was in the shop, but we so wanted to get away for a nice weekend. We found your camp in our KOA directory and it was very inviting. We booked one of the premier cabins and we found it delightful…spotless and very well appointed. Also, the camping store had a wonderful selection of items for our stay. We will be back!

Thank you for taking time to write us a nice review. Management just wanted you to be aware that we do not allow permanent residents. We have a Manager who lives on site along with a couple seasonal Work Kampers. Everyone else at the Harrisonburg Shenandoah Valley KOA are only our wonderful guests

We recently stayed for 5 nights. The campground is very well maintained. The sites are easy to get into, and we could see even for big rigs. We had a great site where we were facing into the woods. The employees are very nice and helpful. The cable tv and Wi-Fi was great.

Tim and Delanie was very friendly. Talked to us like they knew us forever. A very clean campground and quiet. They have very spacious spots and a lot to do onsite. We will be back hopefully soon!

This KOA was phenomenal! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the entire property and facilities were very clean and well maintained. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. And the pizza was a great bonus—delivered right to our campsite! Highly recommend!

We paid for a PREMIUM SITE $120 - $140/ night. When we arrived, we saw our grass at our PREMIUM SITE had NOT been cut for likely MONTHS! Literally the grass & LOTS of weeds were TWO FEET HIGH. When we called to ask to have it cut, they said, "We can't once an RV is there. " Well...we booked this site 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. IS THIS NOT ENOUGH NOTICE FOR YOU ALL?! HORRIBLE!

We as management of this KOA hate that you had this experience. Since you were here for a couple days did you speak to management about this issue? We can’t fix things we aren’t aware of. We are a busy campground and keeping sites weed eated and mowed is a task we take seriously.

It was a great time, the campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were awesome and very helpfull. There is alot activities for kids and adults during the weekends and overall alot to do at the campground we did not have much luck fishing but it was still fun. The campground was packed but it was quite early morning and at night witch was great. They have a good delivery service, pizza, firewood and propane all delivered to you site. The only downfall we had is that it was far from anything we wanted to do, but that was due to our planning. We will definitely go again

🌟 An absolute gem for a weekend getaway! We came up to see the fall colors on Skyline Drive and truly picked the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived until checkout, our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff here is phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Every single interaction felt welcoming. You can easily tell the owners take serious pride in this property; the sites and facilities are impeccably maintained and clean. Location-wise, it doesn't get better. It's the perfect launchpad for Skyline Drive (we did a gorgeous 5-hour loop with breakfast and tons of photo stops). We also ventured down to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, which is a must-try if you stay here! Back at the campground, it's incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Saturday was packed with events for all ages—the trick-or-treating and haunted hayride were an absolute blast for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable weekend! 🙌🏼🏕️

We have camped at this KOA quite a few times! The staff are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a scheduling error! They made sure we were taken care of ! The sites are well maintained and the amenities are A+. We were there over the Fall weekend and throughly enjoyed the “Hey Ride” with Brian, he makes sure kids of all ages has a great time! We will be back for a third year next year!! Check it out you won't be disappointed!
