The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked, campground is clean, well maintained and streets/sites are well marked. They deliver firewood or ice right to your site if you'd like. Sites are spacious and level. Our adult daughter and her husband stayed in a cabin and it was very clean, quaint and stocked with necessities. We were very impressed and will definitely visit again!

I watched MANY families bring their children to fish in the pond. We were there for 3 hours. Not one of the many families caught a fish. I'm not saying the pond needs to be fully stocked but stock it a little. The campground was well maintained! Staff were friendly and helpful!

Thank you for your feedback. We do plan on stocking this winter but there are lot's of fish in there. The fish have just got used to anything other than bait. We hope you give us another try in the future.

Well maintained campground, amenities for children to grandparents, friendly staff, boy from the area sells his local produce and quiet at night. Stayed here on both sides of our travels and would definitely stay here again.

We booked our site a year in advance for a one-week stay. Unfortunately, we were assigned an end-of-the-row site where the picnic table and campfire pit very close to constant stream of traffic. We requested to move to one of the many nicer available sites but were told that we could not. Management only offered to move us to a deck site for $200.00. Needless to say, we were not happy campers.

We have been camping for almost 50 years and this is one of THE BEST campgrounds we have ever camped at. The sites are spacious and wooded with gravel so that mud is not an issue. The staff is very helpful and cheery. The facilities are spotless. An added bonus is the fresh eggs they sell that come from their onsite hens!! I HIGHLY recommend this campground for all types of campers.

We enjoy staying at this campground and are repeat campers The site is centrally located with easy access to Shenandoah Valley historical sites. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The store has free coffee in the morning which is very appreciated on chilly fall mornings.

The campground was beautiful, quiet, and everyone was really friendly. I really appreciate the fresh gravel. That is really important to campers.

This is the cleanest, & best KOA we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at KOA in multiple states. We are from Arizona. The staff goes beyond what is expected and always ready to help. The activities for the kids are engaging, especially Delaine's Hayride. Thanks for the safe haven you provide for families. I know it is a lot of work and you are all so happy to please. See you next year!

The campground very clean and people very friendly. The only negative is the windy road in.

Thank you for your comments. Please keep in mind that we do not own the windy road coming into the campground. That road is a state highway owned by the Virginia Dept of transportation. Please do not hold campgrounds responsible for things out of their control.

Very nice campground which are level and clean. Every site has good placing and are marked great. Loved they took the time to place large rocks between each site with islands of stone at the end of rows. Very nice. Limited grass though. Great job with layout and hardscaping!

Arrived after hours to find a beautiful site for my Teardrop Camper. The after hours check-in was super simple, even how to get some firewood.

This was our first stay down near Shenandoah NP. The campground is about 1 hr from the park, so the distance is great. Campground is well taken care of, the staff was kind and accommodating, all hookups worked well. Overall happy with the stay.

The grounds were so inviting and clean, the staff was so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. The site was clean, and the staff helped us get in. The fresh eggs for purchase was a pleasant surprise. The pump station was easy to access and use. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean and well maintained. Have stayed here a couple of times. Staff is always friendly. Plenty to do around the area for an extended stay. Pretty easy on off I-81 for an overnight stay. Roads around campsite are a little tight but obviously not the fault of the campground.

Our cabin had a fragrance device that saturated the room and immediately gave me a headache. We had to air it out for hours, and the lingering fragrance affected my sleep. When we raised the concern, staff dismissed it by saying they were privately owned. Please disclose fragrance use and offer fragrance-free cabins for sensitive guests.

We are sorry that you had a bad experience at our campground. The fragrance was put in the cabin to help the glamping experience. In the future always let staff know ahead of time of sensitivities. We hope you are able to find a campground more to your liking.

What an awesome place! Tons of amenities, especially if you have kids. Staff was amazing and despite its size and being full it was nice an quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.

It was the most relaxing experience we have had since camping and that goes back to the 1970's. It was quiet and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful site. Large area for out 2 goldens to take advantage of outdoors. Plan on returning.

It was a great time, the campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were awesome and very helpfull. There is alot activities for kids and adults during the weekends and overall alot to do at the campground we did not have much luck fishing but it was still fun. The campground was packed but it was quite early morning and at night witch was great. They have a good delivery service, pizza, firewood and propane all delivered to you site. The only downfall we had is that it was far from anything we wanted to do, but that was due to our planning. We will definitely go again

🌟 An absolute gem for a weekend getaway! We came up to see the fall colors on Skyline Drive and truly picked the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived until checkout, our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff here is phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Every single interaction felt welcoming. You can easily tell the owners take serious pride in this property; the sites and facilities are impeccably maintained and clean. Location-wise, it doesn't get better. It's the perfect launchpad for Skyline Drive (we did a gorgeous 5-hour loop with breakfast and tons of photo stops). We also ventured down to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, which is a must-try if you stay here! Back at the campground, it's incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Saturday was packed with events for all ages—the trick-or-treating and haunted hayride were an absolute blast for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable weekend! 🙌🏼🏕️

We have camped at this KOA quite a few times! The staff are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a scheduling error! They made sure we were taken care of ! The sites are well maintained and the amenities are A+. We were there over the Fall weekend and throughly enjoyed the “Hey Ride” with Brian, he makes sure kids of all ages has a great time! We will be back for a third year next year!! Check it out you won't be disappointed!
