Only stayed one night, but we really liked it, We stayed there a few years ago for several nights and enjoyed their hiking trails, and snow flurries.

This place always feels like you’re going to visit family. Very friendly staff, and they remember me when I walked through the door. The place is beautifully decorated for the holidays and the campground is clean and quiet.

Tree limbs needs to be pruned for larger rigs.

We have continued to reserve a site at this KOA for the past 20 years. There is easy access to level sites. The bathrooms are a10 all the time. The campground as a whole is spotless. The owners and staff go out of their way to insure your stay is an enjoyable experience.

We loved this campground and could have stayed much longer. It is a destination location and in close proximity to so many things. We will return again and for longer.

This is absolutely my favorite KOA campground. Woodsy, level, nicely spaced sites. So many little touches that make it inviting. Not to mention the friendly staff, extremely clean, well-maintained campground.

Clean bathrooms with Naked Bee lotion that I love. Chicken coop. Excellent signage. Fun stuff if you have kids. Poison Ivy right behind site. Nice walking trail right at campground. Expensive wood at $9 per small bundle. Escort right to your site. Gravel throughout a little hard on dog paws. Kind of awkward dump station. Overall a great one night stay. Staff was nice and helpful.

Thank for your comments. We will ensure that the poison ivy is killed behind the site. We do our best to control wood prices as it has been this price for the last 5 years even though cost has increased. The campground is 52 years old hence why the dump station is where it is. Hope you come again.

This a very quiet, clean and comfortable campground, with very nice bath house facilities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They make the best pizza!

Family weekend at JMU. Staff was friendly the campground is clean. We enjoyed ping pong and the camp store.

RVed with family and friends, and had a wonderful visit to the area. This KOA is extremely well managed and for that reason we Camp there frequently.

Beautiful campground. Nice staff. Level site 29. They upgraded our electric pedestal from 30 amp to 50 amp while we were there and it was appreciated. Central to visiting Shenandoah National Park, shopping, cute towns, and Luray Caverns.

Checked into a primitive tent site. Fire pit was cleaned really well and ready to use. Incredible and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

stayed one night but the bathroom was clean. Great signage for finding our way around. Gravel on RV spot was sufficient to keep us from tracking in mud since it was raining when we arrived.

We spent the night and loved the welcome and atmosphere of the campground. The rustic trees, use of stone, gravel, layout and cleanliness was great ! We’ll sure to be back again for a longer stay!

Great campground and our favorite KOA. Most importantly the campground and facilities are top notch. Bathrooms are clean and updated. Sites are well maintained. The one quality that stands out is the friendliness of the staff. They make you feel like family. Grab a fried fruit pie when checking in, you will thank me!

A great place away from it all. Staff were kind and helpful especially Tim and his wife “D” ( forgot how to spell her name). Clean bathrooms wth great showers. Totally enjoyed the hiking trail too!

The price is a little high, we would stay at KOA more frequently if the pricing was more reasonable.

Site was so far out of level our auto levelers could not level our unit. Then it rained and the site had alot of mud. We will stay elsewhere in the future.

Hard to level, had to go to 3 sites to get close to level. The attendant got our slide too close to tree, 3”, when opened. WiFi insufficient and weak cell signal from Verizon. Too many trees to use Satellite TV or Starlink. Narrow and hilly roads getting to Campground. I have 39’ Class A towing a jeep.

Thank you for your feedback. Our campground is in a wooded, mountain area, cell/WiFi, satellite service can be challenging. The winding, hilly road is a state highway and not owned or maintained by us. We do our best to help guests if they listen. We hope you find a campground more to your liking.

We loved this campground! It's one of the quietest we have ever stayed in. Everything was well maintained. Crew made great recommendations on things to do and good local restaurants. Bonus was their pizzas! You can choose your toppings and they even deliver to your site! We will definitely be back.

Love this campground. I would like a few benches on the hiking trail so you can actually sit in the woods and appreciate your surroundings. That being said, this campground is awesome with plenty of space and a natural feel.

It was a great time, the campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were awesome and very helpfull. There is alot activities for kids and adults during the weekends and overall alot to do at the campground we did not have much luck fishing but it was still fun. The campground was packed but it was quite early morning and at night witch was great. They have a good delivery service, pizza, firewood and propane all delivered to you site. The only downfall we had is that it was far from anything we wanted to do, but that was due to our planning. We will definitely go again

🌟 An absolute gem for a weekend getaway! We came up to see the fall colors on Skyline Drive and truly picked the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived until checkout, our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff here is phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Every single interaction felt welcoming. You can easily tell the owners take serious pride in this property; the sites and facilities are impeccably maintained and clean. Location-wise, it doesn't get better. It's the perfect launchpad for Skyline Drive (we did a gorgeous 5-hour loop with breakfast and tons of photo stops). We also ventured down to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, which is a must-try if you stay here! Back at the campground, it's incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Saturday was packed with events for all ages—the trick-or-treating and haunted hayride were an absolute blast for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable weekend! 🙌🏼🏕️

We have camped at this KOA quite a few times! The staff are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a scheduling error! They made sure we were taken care of ! The sites are well maintained and the amenities are A+. We were there over the Fall weekend and throughly enjoyed the “Hey Ride” with Brian, he makes sure kids of all ages has a great time! We will be back for a third year next year!! Check it out you won't be disappointed!
