My third visit. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the camp spots are nicely sized, not on top of each other. The only critique I have is that the internet was not very strong, and the signal on Verizon and AT&T was only 1-2 bars. So streaming, besides music, was not possible.

Everyone was very nice and things were available for convenience. Gift shop prices were VERY decent. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a bit further from Shenandoah than we initially realized, but we’d still stay there again and explore the area!

Always a pleasure to spend time here. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The sites are level and you are not squeezed in on top of each other. Baths clean and kept updated. Will be back!

This is a yearly stop on our way to and from FLA. Staff are wonderful, pull thru sites are large and easy for big rigs.

Very spacious sites. Feels more or a state park with all the trees. Beautiful setting. Close enough to 81 but far enough to feel like you’re in the mountains. We love it here.

All good things to say about this KOA. The after hours check in worked perfectly. The site was spacious, relatively level, gravel (no mud), conveniently located utilities and plenty of room for maneuvering in and out. I especially appreciated the great cable access and friendly staff. First class!

The campground is maintained very well, and the staff are excellent and incredibly kind. The shower room is extremely clean and well-maintained.

Very nice campground with many outside points of interest in the area. Campground’s clean and mostly shady sites. The only negative is the lack of bathhouses. Our site was at the very back and the only bathhouse was at the camp store at the front entrance. We drove to get a shower and saw others doing the same.

The campground was beautiful! It was secluded and quiet. The sites were level with lots of room between sites and lovely trees and grass allowing room for privacy and the enjoyment of all the birds and squirrels. The laundry room was small but clean and had a basket to transfer clothes without dropping. :-D. We loved our stay at KOA Harrisonburg and we were sad to have to leave.

Lovely park, tucked into a wooded area. Especially appreciate that it was not next to a highway. Clean bathroom and laundry facilities. Delighted to have a dog park too. Friendly and helpful staff.

The electric pole that does not work on site 49 needs to be removed. It was hard to attach water without scraping your hands!

Traveling and needed a unscheduled stay, called late in the day, found very helpful staff- arrived after office had closed, placed into a very nice site with easy hookups. Have used this KOA before and have never been disappointed.

We were so impressed with how easy it was to get to. It was nice to have signs to follow. Loved the patriotism. Being veterans, it was so welcoming. We loved the site markers. Most KOAs, they are hard to spot. The campground is gorgeous and staff so friendly. It’s obvious you put a lot of thought and time into accommodating your campers. We would definitely stay again.

We had the most perfect stay! Every campground host was sincerely helpful and happy! We enjoyed everyone we had the pleasure of acquainting during our stay. Bathrooms were especially clean. I’m especially grateful for the help we received (maybe from Mike?) at the tail end of our trip when we needed jumper cables to start our car again. Thank you again for all of your help! We had the best stay!

We needed a place for an overnight stay at the last minute and fortunately there was a spot available. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the campground was awesome and we will have it in our list of revisits.

We were only there one night as we passed through on our way west but easily concluded that it is a very nice KOA and we have stayed at many. Some campgrounds, KOA’s included, often use their poorer sites for overnighters but this site was very nice and we might add very level. No dunnage or tire blocking required. Site was more than adequate to hold our 42 foot fifth wheel and our full size tru

It was a great time, the campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were awesome and very helpfull. There is alot activities for kids and adults during the weekends and overall alot to do at the campground we did not have much luck fishing but it was still fun. The campground was packed but it was quite early morning and at night witch was great. They have a good delivery service, pizza, firewood and propane all delivered to you site. The only downfall we had is that it was far from anything we wanted to do, but that was due to our planning. We will definitely go again

🌟 An absolute gem for a weekend getaway! We came up to see the fall colors on Skyline Drive and truly picked the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived until checkout, our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff here is phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Every single interaction felt welcoming. You can easily tell the owners take serious pride in this property; the sites and facilities are impeccably maintained and clean. Location-wise, it doesn't get better. It's the perfect launchpad for Skyline Drive (we did a gorgeous 5-hour loop with breakfast and tons of photo stops). We also ventured down to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, which is a must-try if you stay here! Back at the campground, it's incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Saturday was packed with events for all ages—the trick-or-treating and haunted hayride were an absolute blast for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable weekend! 🙌🏼🏕️

We have camped at this KOA quite a few times! The staff are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a scheduling error! They made sure we were taken care of ! The sites are well maintained and the amenities are A+. We were there over the Fall weekend and throughly enjoyed the “Hey Ride” with Brian, he makes sure kids of all ages has a great time! We will be back for a third year next year!! Check it out you won't be disappointed!
