This is such a quiet and beautiful campground. We like the hiking trail and enjoyed the sound of the creek nearby. Everyone was very nice and went out of their way to help when we needed it.

Everything was fine. Bathrooms were well maintained, park was quiet, sites were spacious enough, overall setting idyllic. Just wish it hadn't rain so much.:(

Really enjoy coming back to HSV/KOA. The staff is always friendly, the facilities are always clean, which they had their work cut out for them due to the never ending rain. This is still our favorite campground and we hope to get back soon.

If I could give this location a “15” I would. It is absolutely THE BEST KOA I have stayed in (in about 20 states!). The facilities are superb, you don’t feel like you are in an “RV Parking Lot” with the way the sites are located, they have well planned activities, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We left a major piece of equipment behind and they went out of their way

Quiet, charming, off the beaten path location in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Lots of attractions nearby. The staff is super friendly. The facilities are definitely kid friendly. Overall 10 out of 10!

No issues other than the weather! Clean and well maintained campground (but may want to assess dead trees/branches, some landed very close to our vehicle and camper)

What a great place to stay at! My first ever KOA that I can remember and the staff at Harrisonburg/Shenandoah knocked it out of the park. I would come back again 100 percent! The grounds are well kept the area is very nice! They keep you up to date on everything! Can’t say enough about this place! Definitely staying at more KOA’s now because of this experience!

We had planned an overnight on a return trip from the OBX, based on our experience we are planning a return trip as a destination. The campground was very well maintained, and the staff was amazing. Sites and facilities were super clean and the grounds were manicured. Just beautiful! We ordered pizza, made on site and delivered. It was delicious! The best KOA we have ever visited.

My stay was a one night stop on my annual snowbird journey home to NH from FL. This campground is one of the cleanest, cutest and quietest places I've ever stayed. It was the perfect recharge that I needed. Thank you for that.

It was a great time, the campground was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were awesome and very helpfull. There is alot activities for kids and adults during the weekends and overall alot to do at the campground we did not have much luck fishing but it was still fun. The campground was packed but it was quite early morning and at night witch was great. They have a good delivery service, pizza, firewood and propane all delivered to you site. The only downfall we had is that it was far from anything we wanted to do, but that was due to our planning. We will definitely go again

🌟 An absolute gem for a weekend getaway! We came up to see the fall colors on Skyline Drive and truly picked the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived until checkout, our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff here is phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Every single interaction felt welcoming. You can easily tell the owners take serious pride in this property; the sites and facilities are impeccably maintained and clean. Location-wise, it doesn't get better. It's the perfect launchpad for Skyline Drive (we did a gorgeous 5-hour loop with breakfast and tons of photo stops). We also ventured down to the Harrisonburg Farmers Market, which is a must-try if you stay here! Back at the campground, it's incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Saturday was packed with events for all ages—the trick-or-treating and haunted hayride were an absolute blast for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable weekend! 🙌🏼🏕️

We have camped at this KOA quite a few times! The staff are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us when there was a scheduling error! They made sure we were taken care of ! The sites are well maintained and the amenities are A+. We were there over the Fall weekend and throughly enjoyed the “Hey Ride” with Brian, he makes sure kids of all ages has a great time! We will be back for a third year next year!! Check it out you won't be disappointed!
