This was our second time staying here. Fantastic campground. Very well maintained and staff is super friendly! Kids loved the heated pool and lazy river. We will definitely be back

Nice place to stay on Galveston Island. It was clean and the staff was helpful and nice. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved our stay. The sites were spacious and grounds are well maintained. My personal opinion is that the campground is not accessibly compliant. With people such as myself can't use some of the facilities. I can't go up to the 2nd floor to register so my husband does that. But more importantly I can not use the pool as there is no hand rails for me to get into and out of the pool.

The staff were amazing. The facility was immaculate. People were friendly! So many great activities and cared about what people wanted to do. They sent out lots of texts so everyone was well informed about what was going on everyday. We will definitely be back!

First time there, very clean friendly park. I like the pickleball courts and lazy river. A little windy on our stay , but not your fault . Definitely would recommend.

Our stay was excellent, overall.There is only one thing I'd fix about this KOA, and that's the drainage of the water after a storm. Many (all) of the trailer sites were still flooded, days after a rain. If the concrete were poured like most roadways, they would have a "crest" built into them, to make them drain the water off faster. Instead, we were walking through water constantly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Galveston KOA very much! The office staff and all other employees we had contact with were always friendly and helpful. A lot of different and fun activities for everyone to choose from. We will be returning! �

This was our first stay at a KOA and we enjoyed ourselves. The park was well designed and maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We signed up for the annual membership by the end of our stay.

This KOA is one of the best I've been to, great staff, very clean campground, we have been here twice. Now if the could have a meeting with Mother Nature she was not very nice this past January. It would be nice if they would get a better WiFi provider. You if your a streamer you may as well bring your own WiFi. Lots of activities, nice warm pool, warm lazy river, great hot tub

Park is well kept. We enjoyed the raised patio. It was fun to watch the glorious sunset. Lots of commucation from the office!

This was our second trip to Galveston KOA. We were exited to spend NYE with them again. The grounds are well kept. The sites are spaced a good distance apart, and there are a lot of amenities for families and kids. My one complaint is the age restrictions for their hot tub. They only allow kids 17+ to enter. That's unfortunate for a family with kids 10+. We would have enjoyed that together.

Weather not cooperating so we didn't get to join in any of the activities - but loved the daily text of what was going on and sounded like a lot of fun if it had been warmer. I'm sure we'll try again and hope for better weather another time.

The only deficiency is the Wi-Fi. Not very good. Otherwise a fabulous park and staff. Please upgrade the WiFi.

Great placs to stay.. cool beach vibe. Stayed for 1 month In December/January. Weather wasn't always the best, but close to the beach for a stroll, nice pool, hot tub and lazy river. Great staff that was always working to make our stay very nice. Games, concerts, movie nights, mixers, even a local author did a session. Very quiet at night, nice large spaces. A great winter location for snowbird

I loved the facility, easy to find, very clean, the site was perfect. The walk to the beach was very close and the dirive to Galveston was short. Will definitely come back.

We hosted a small group rally at the Galveston Island KOA. We decided to stay for a full week due to their fantastic weekly rates. The manager Tammy and Director of Guest Services Marc made sure we were well taken care of. The park hosted events daily, and sometimes multiple events keeping us busy the entire week. Event coordinator Becky hosted most of these events with a great smile and attitude. The staff went as far as tailoring a couple of the events towards our preferences making it even better. We've been to Galveston Island KOA the past 3 years and each year they've added improvements making our stay even more enjoyable. The "cherry on top" was the fact they had great live music by national touring duo Thom Shepherd & Coley McCabe. I can tell you if you are looking for an affordable, clean, fun park for a rally, or family vacation, Galveston Island KOA is your place! Plenty to do within the park, or head right across the street to the crashing waves of the Gulf.

I can't say enough good things about this property. This place is clean and the staff work hard to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There's always an opportunity to enjoy the many offerings that will keep you entertained. Actually, there's too much to list. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!
