Second time to stay with you and we really enjoyed our stay. This makes the winter enjoyable. We love all the activities you have for us! Looking forward to next January!

We've stayed at several other KOA's and our stay at Galveston was the best yet. Every staff member there was friendly and helpful. We were notified everyday of activities either happening that day or coming up in the days ahead and there was never a lack of activities. The grounds were beautifully maintained and clean. The only negative was not having a lot of room in the laundry area.

We were there for a month and enjoyed everyday. I must admit I was a little melancholy leaving. Marc was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed our stay.

best KOA we have been to in a while ...but leave the Margaritas for the bars!

Great campground! Clean and close to ocean. Lazy River was nice and had a lot of activities on the grounds. Laundry facilities are nice and dryers worked great... size of laundry is an issue and is the only area of approvement from my perspective. Galveston as a whole was beautiful! Thank you for an amazing time.

Very nice campground, it differently need and indoor recreation area enough to house 50 people .Very friendly and helpful staff. You could enclosed the LRP with roll up doors and use the heaters more often to keep the place warm so you don't cancel activities. Thanks. We will see you again in 10 months

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this as place to stay. It was very clean, the staff that we interacted with were all pleasant.

Very good!! Quiet and fun and lots of things going on. Too many barking dogs was one issue. People or the office needs to remind people to keep there dogs somewhat quiet so people without dogs can have a nice day too.

We stayed 5 days and it was excellent. Nice facilities, well kept landscaping and a great pool and lazy river. Also many activities. Very pleased.

We’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy the stay

The only thing we are not happy about with this KOA is the number of Animals (Dogs) that are allowed in the park, we saw a camper with 6 small dogs in a large pen around their campsite, and they barked at everyone and thing that went by, and we saw multiple people walking 3 dogs at one time, that is too many for one camper to have,

Very nice and will return!! Only problem was that the bathrooms were way at the opposite end of the campground..please add some to the back

Excellent 3 days and enjoyed the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig museum, the Moody Mansion and the NASA Space Center. We stayed here a year ago and hopefully will return in 2025!

We loved Galveston Island KOA. All the facilities are immaculate. Great pool, hot tub, lazy river, pickle ball court, etc. The park is really well maintained and the staff are super helpful and welcoming. Great little store if you need something, fun events, etc. Booked 2 months for next year. The only suggestion I have is to add some more plants/greener to add some personality to the park.

Any one that wears a yellow KOA staff shirt is going to be courteous, friendly, respectful... I am a big supporter for this KOA campground

Amazing stay. Only suggestion for site 109, lower the seer connection. Larger coaches end up with an uphill dump situation when sewer connections are this high. Walking a hose can lead to accidental spillage and hose disconnects during dumping. Big mess, it’s happened in the past.

Love the lazy river. Pool heat wasn’t working during our stay but otherwise staff and activities were very good.

This was our second winter at this KOA and it's been the best KOA we've stayed at so far in 25 states and two countries (US and Canada). The staff stays on top of things, are super friendly, and they strive to keep things interesting. We've already booked again for next winter.

We enjoyed everything about the campground except one thing. The campgrounds WiFi was not usable. I am not sure if we were ever able to connect. I may have been able to connect one time in the three evenings when I tried.

Fantistic site. Spots are roomy and well maintained. Staff was very helpful with an issue we had with the power connection and they were able to resolve it. Staff very friendly. Certainly a place to visit and enjoy the number of public access to the beaches which are also dog friendly.

We stayed a week at this RV park from the end of June to July 4. Nice level RV pads. Most are 25'x65' with about 1/3 being pull thru's. This is the furthest "West End" RV park on the island about 3.5 miles from San Luis Pass. We enjoyed this location since it's quiet with less traffic and in close proximity to the beach access point 36 (less than a mile) which is the best beach on Galveston Island. From our site (#31) you get a peek of the water. Our 7 year old grandson really enjoyed the lazy river, and so did a lot of the adults. A nice place to soak & float while responsibly enjoying an adult beverage and making new friends. There is also a pool and hot tub. Movie night at the lazy river on the weekends. Also close by is the (very laid back) Sandbar Grille in The West End Marina. The Sandbar Grille is a great place to eat or just hang out and have a drink when coming off the beach. Will stay at this park again!

We were in Site# 332. The check in was at 1pm and Check out is at 11am.. We had Full hook- up with a concrete pull-through. We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep. The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded with no trees. This was a larger sized lot with our neighbors not too close. The lot comes with a concrete patio with picnic table and built in grill box (no actual fire ring). We also got a Paw Pen site for our dogs. Some have a fire ring in the deluxe sites. There is free WiFi. They offer Cable TV and there are many channels. There is not a community outdoor kitchen but do have community fire pit. They sell wood for $8 a bundle. They do not provide garbage service at your site so you must walk to garbage dumpster. You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They do not provide golf cart rentals. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground. They do have a heated swimming pool with and a separate lazy river. They have a catch and release fishing Lake. There is a Playground. They also offer basketball sport court, pickleball, horseshoe, and cornhole. There is also a jumping pad. They have a decent general store (that sells frozen daiquiris). The streets within the campground are paved and good for riding bikes. There is a public access to the ocean across the street. They have cabins for rent. They have one shower house. The shower house has individual bathrooms with your own sink, shower, toilet. These are kept very clean. There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility, but they have a change machine. There are approximately 4 washers and 4dryers.It is approximately $2.25 to wash and $2.25to dry a load. They have a fenced in dog park. Mosquitoes were a small issue and bug spray was needed. We received daily texts outlining the activities for the day like bingo, happy hours, trivia night, tamale truck, Texas Hold Em, tie dying, and live music.
