We only had a couple of days but it was wonderful. Beautiful grounds; noticed the rv sites are spacious. Great amenities. Lord willing we will be back in our motorhome hopefully for a longer visit.

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff & grounds are very well kept and clean. We will be back! Kamp K9 is perfect too!

The stay was great; amenities were wonderful; facilities were well-kept. The only complaint I have is on staff member, we requested a swap of new towels, after 3 days. When I met her at the laundry, the staff member “reminded me” that this was not a hotel and we should not request new towels that frequently.

Stayed in a cabin for 5 nights with my family. Absolutely loved it. The cabin was spotless. Really comfortable beds. It was equipped with everything e needed. The site was really clean with great amenities. We were never out of the lazy river as it was sooooo hot when we stayed. The pool did look inviting but the lazy river was so fun. The activities were great fun too.

TINY cabin might be ok for two adults but horrible for 4. Wear your shoes inside or the dirty floor will turn your feet black. They give you 4 pods of coffee no matter how many days you paid for. You can purchase more from them for $1 each. The main bed is made but if you need more you will have to make the beds with supplied sheets. The lazy river is small. The facility itself is nice

I gave three stars because I feel neutral about my stay. While I loved all the amenities and the fair pricing, the amenities shut down at 9pm which feels early when you are on vacation. The A/C unit in the main bedroom had black stuff growing in it. I developed a cough the first night and I have yet to kick it a week and a half later. I took pictures of management would like to see them

My party of four stayed in one of your cabins, it was clean but we had to fight big water bugs and a large amount of flies, we did not leave door open or go in and out. My group was not happy with big roachs or flies in cabin. Otherwise stay was good.

We always enjoy staying at the KOA camp in Galveston. Pools and bathroom facilities well maintained. Staff very welcoming and willing to help resolve any problems that come up. I would recommend bringing your own grill if you stay at the cabins as you don't know what the state they maybe in when you get there.

Washed my dishes before I left, but I had to buy a sponge to wash dishes. Made me question how clean the dishes were. The bathroom was musty, I tripped on the floor that was uneven in the bedroom. the seal around the door made it hard to keep the cabin cool. I asked for an exchange of towels, there were no towels to be given. The cabin was advertised to sleep 8, only 4 towels were given to start.

Accommodations and park amenities were great,especially for families! The kids loved the pool and lazy river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Each day started with a text about all activities for the day and we received more texts throughout the day if things changed due to weather, etc. it is on the quiet end of the island which made going to the beach nice. Very enjoyable stay!

First time staying at the Galveston KOA. Will be back. Grounds are clean with a ton of activities on site. If you’re looking for a fun relaxing day at the pool or beach, this is the place to stay. I would also like to rate the frozen daiquiris.. 10/10! I would love to elaborate with finer details, but after 2 drinks I can’t remember much. Loved our stay!

We LOVE Galveston Island KOA and recommend it to everyone we know. This was our 2nd visit. The 1st visit was last year and we had our own RV. When we sold it we were so grateful that GI-KOA offers cabins for rent and reserved one early this year to ensure we got our preferred dates. Love the lazy river, pool, grounds, and STAFF!! So great and accomodating! Super clean cabin! <3

The staff were very friendly and willing to chat with guests. The individual bathrooms were clean, roomy and the showers had great water pressure. It was nice to have a private place to shower. The sites were nicely maintained. The pool/lazy river were both great. Larger than I expected. But, I would have liked to have a place to grill, even an area with shared grills. Lots of mosquitoes.

Cabin E - The A/C in the loft was leaking water. I called & reported it. I got a texted later telling me that it froze up & the thermostat was turned up to defrost it. We were told not to put it lower than 72 degrees. That is not comfortable to us. Y'all need to add freon to the A/C to make it work properly. The cabin needs to be exterminated. The bunk beds didn't have a fitted sheet, only flat.

Everything that keeps us returning was there! Two things I would change - most importantly of those consider MOVING the dumpster! We enjoy pickleball as a family but the consistent smell (like decaying flesh) permeates the whole community games area ��Depending on your sensitivity this could be a dealbreaker for some. Also consider upgrading the grills that don’t have lids. All in all great st

Great Staff, they were amazing and always willing to help in anyway possible. Stephen went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Really a great time and friendly place. Couple things i would adjust. 1. Needs food source on site. 2. Cabin needs new mattresses. 3. Shower needs tankless heater, we often took cold showers. 4. cheap scrub brushes for dishes. We will be back with

We really enjoyed our stay. Great activities! However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of our cabin. The floor was very dirty, towels and sheets had stains, and other areas need deep cleaning and repair/maintenance. We stayed there previously and it was in much better condition.

Nicest KOA we have visited. Stayed in Aqua Vista Cabin which felt more like a small nice house versus a cabin. Daily text updates were very helpful and there were always many staff members available to help with anything. This property is located 20 miles or so from Galveston, so it's a bit of a drive for certain activities, but its location (west end of island) is so much more relaxed & cleaner.

Stayed in a cabin. We had previously stayed here in an RV. The cabin was perfect. The staff are all very friendly and this campground is very well maintained.

stayed 2 nights in a cabin. Cabin was neat and clean. Since it was cool and windy, the office lent us a table so we could play games/cards in the cabin. Maybe a folding table and chairs should be provided in the cabins that sleep 8.

It was a wonderful experience, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They seemed to really connect and care about the quality of our stay. And the included amenities top notch for a relaxing trip.

This is a great KOA with alot of amenities. Booked it as a layover due to an incoming storm . Stayed in a cottage. Bad decision, power went out and there is no backup plan. No power from 1:00am, strayed until 7:00 am, then left for home. 40 degrees in there all night. 29 outside. As a bonus, there was a Texas sized cockroach on the counter in the morning. Albeit frozen. ��� No refund.

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
