We loved the Lazy River but we feel like you should either provide inner tubes like they do at the RV park down the road from you or you could at least rent them for a small fee. We had to purchase 4 inner tubes at $10 apiece. Had we known that you did not provide them, we would have purchased them at a cheaper price somewhere else. We did enjoy our stay. Very nice park. Thank-you!

Loved this clean beautiful spacious rv park. Super friendly staff! Fun heated lazy river. Quite beautiful beach just across the street. Gorgeous sunrise from the beach equally gorgeous sunset from our RV spot . Would highly recommend this park and hope to go back again.

The state is fantastic. This is the third year in a row. I have stayed there. Disappointment is I was in 117 and water maintained in the front of the driveway the whole time I was there this is the second year in a row. They keep backwash the pool and it should not drain into the street like that. It should drain into a drain. This should not happen on a prime site

The campgrounds are always so well kept. Of all of the times we have stayed at this campground over the years, this is the first stay that we witnessed so many visitors letting their dogs wander off leash. We even witnessed someone letting their dogs run loose in the fenced CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND area! The dogs were relieving themselves on the playground equipment!

Our check in was quick and easy. Our site was a pull through near the front of the camp. Our 41’ class a coach pulling an F150 would not fit on the spot. I had to disconnect to get the truck out of the road. The site was well kept with nice green grass. Pools look great. We did not use any of the facilities. Beach is across the road. Great KOA. We are looking forward to another stay

We have been coming to Galveston Island KOA every year since before it was KOA. We love the park and staff. My only complaint is that I feel that there needs to be more regulation in the lazy river. If people want to congregate and stand, they need to be in the pool. People are allowed to stand and clog up the flow and then they get mad when bumped. River needs to flow unrestricted. Thank you.

Everything was great about our stay. The items in the store were priced great with a great selection of Only things I would have to say is mosquitoes were pretty bad, but that’s hard to control. And the other thing I’d have to say is we had several fire ant piles and were biting us while hanging outside. They were crawling in the grass

Always a good stay. I always recommend this Koa to others. The only thing that could have been better would have been colder water in the lazy river. We �ϋ� this campground and the employees and managers of this KOA. Will be back at least 3 more times this year!

Staff was exceptionally kind. Everyone had a smile and was very helpful. The campground and amenities were clean and well kept,especially for a busy holiday weekend.

We've stayed here (and all of the Galveston RV parks) a lot. This was the best visit we've had to the KOA. Often, the staff have been less than friendly when we've come there. This time, they were AWESOME! Very friendly. Very helpful. They still enforced rules, but they were nice about it this time.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The pull through spaces are large compared to other parks we have stayed in the pass. Very well kept.

We enjoy floating the lazy river. However, large groups will congregate with their ice chest set up and block the flow of people. It’s frustrating because you’re trying hard not to bump into them. Yall are so diligent about insisting arm bands are worn. Please be as diligent about monitoring this problem so others can enjoy floating. The other pool is perfect for the ones who want to park it!

This was our second year stay at this KOA. The staff is fantastic. Always helpful, but most importantly friendly with smiles. Like they enjoy it.. crazy I know. Close to the beach and yet far away from the crowds in the City of Galveston. See you next year!

Great time as always (our 3rd time) and enjoyed watching the fireworks off of the beach from our own campsite. The pool and lazy river were great and the drinks were better! The KOA staff did a great job and always checked on us and asked if we needed anything. Steve was very informative as he answered any questions we had. Thanks again and we’ll be back soon ��

We enjoyed the lazy river and pool. Drinks from the store were STRONG. Sites were level, and we had plenty of room between us and our neighbors.

We spent 2 nights and were pleased with our stay. The park is clean with diligent staff. They helped accommodate our needs when we were having trouble with our rv. My only complaint is the recurring texts about schedules of activities that they sent out repeatedly and without identifying themselves up front, so I didn’t know if it was spam until I opened one and saw it was from KOA.

The issue we have is that when we made a reservation. No one said anything to us about a private event being held on the grounds and that we would not be allowed to use the facilities.

Great staff, very friendly. Multiple updates daily via text message to keep you informed on the day's activities. Park was very clean and well maintained. Lots to keep you busy on site with the pool, lazy river, and daily activities so we never made it across to the beach but there was a lot of folks we talked to that spent time over there and they all enjoyed it. Looking forward to returning.

We stayed on the back side of the park, site 308, and park staff generously accomodated our request to be placed adjacent to my sister and brother-in-law in 309. Mosquitoes were a nuisance around sundown but its Galveston so thats a given anywhere. We all enjoyed the lazy river, and the expanded camp store had anything we had forgotten. We will be returning before the summer is over.

We enjoyed having an rv site next to our extended family in the cabins. Our site was level and very clean. The cabins were modern decor, appliances were up to date and worked well and ac was cold ! The lazy River and pool were not salty or filled with chlorine which we appreciated. Bathrooms and showers were clean and roomy. Only downside was mosquitoes at dusk. Beach was close enough to walk!

Clean, well- maintained campground. Loved the lazy river! Restroom/ shower facilities were spotless. One suggestion- please keep camp store open, until 8!or 8:30. Would be nice not to have to leave camp, for an ice cream treat, in the evening. Looking forward, to our next visit!

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
