We have stayed at many KOAs across the country and this one is by far the best. The staff is very friendly and the sites are not crammed together. This was our second time staying here (we live in AZ), and we will be back again.

The Galveston KOA is wonderful!!! It's clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff is excellent. It's just across the street from the beach. I liked it so much, I booked a month stay in February/March.

Great place to stay on the island. Far enough away from town center to be able to really enjoy the beach without the crowds. Very friendly people and the facilities were very well. Kept up and clean. We will be back!

Clean and not too busy,great pool and facilities with large concrete level pads with lots of room to enjoy your space. Great staff and a great place to relax with the ocean just across the street.

Having left the KOA in El Reno Oklahoma 12 hours earlier , your staff (Steven)escorted and helped place out RV in our site after hours. Clean, quiet sites . Reservation/office staff EXCELLENT! FYI ,the 1pole 30a breaker at our site was defective. Also, the WIFI at our site (even close to the pole) was weak. Otherwise,, wonderful stay!!!

We had an amazing time. We were greeted with smiling faces and open arms. Everyone was so helpfully and inviting. The camp grounds were clean and well maintained. The lazy river was my go to in the afternoons. We will definitely be returning

Great stay as always. Had a little issue with the water draining in the sewer dump line. The maintenance gentleman who helped us and got an electrician to repair it the next day was fabulous. He was thorough, professional and nice. What an asset to your park! I did not get his name.

Pros Beautiful scenery, very nice greeterand lots of activities for both adults and kids Cons The “lawn” is msinly mowed 3” high weeds. My poodles got at least 15 each stickers in their fur that had to be cut out. The placement of our travel trailer was between 2 other RVs even though the place was practically empty. It also eliminated breezy conditions and views.

Unfortunately, lack of information while making reservations did not work out properly when we actually showed up. We were supposed to camp with our son and his family, but was not told about reservations and paying the full um in advance for that to work, which would not have been a problem if we had known , so we ended up camping in two different locations was not a very happy camper.

Sky Deck site was great! However this KOA is 18 miles away from the main part of town. Unless you have a vehicle, you're stuck at the KOA. This place needs a restaurant, live music/bar, transportation to town/shopping/restaurants, really nice place but to far away without those. A KOA Holiday should be self sufficient and be a destination in it's own right. Staff was wonderful and works hard!

First time RVer, back in spot near the office. Everything was clean, staff were super friendly and took the time so explain stuff to this newbie. Pool was awesome. Really could not have had a better experience.

Everything at Galveston Island KOA was perfect. The grounds are so well maintained, the pool and lazy river was perfect. Tammy, the manager, is super friendly and keeps this place immaculate. We just love staying here.

Lazy River and pina coladas were fabulous! The pad sites were nice. Roads had pot holes. No trash pick up. Saw rats and roaches. Dog poop bags and disposal can was on the outside of the dog park area so if your pup pooped while in the dog park you had to leave the park and go outside to get a bag pick it up then go back out to dispose of it. Most places have it inside the park.

We walked to the beach every day to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Charlie the Lab enjoyed the small dog park, but campers need to bring their own water. The campgrounds were clean, well maintained, and friendly. The mosquitoes were pretty thick in the evenings, as usual. The twenty-minute drive to Galveston meant we had plenty of peace and quiet around camp.

The campground is beautifully maintained. Large sites with a great pool, hot tub and lazy river. All the staff is friendly and accommodating. Best KOA we've stayed at for sure!

Everything is so well taken care of at this campground. The pool, hot tub and lazy river are wonderfully relaxing and a variety of tunes is always playing on the speakers. We never feel the need to even leave the KOA except for a quick walk on the beach. It's our second trip in 5 weeks. We will keep coming back!

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
