What a wonderful place, and crew. Lori & Matt were wonderful at Check in, and Marc and Tammy run a great campground! Great cabin on stilts, too!

The grounds are clean, attractive and well maintained. Including the pools and hot tub. All of the folks working; cleaning, repairing and helping customers are great at their jobs. I had so much fun! Swimming, movies, games, evening firepit watching and the General Store. There is something here at Galveston KOA for all ages. And abilities.

We had a great time staying here. Very resort-like. We stayed in one of the cabins which are very nice. More like an extended stay hotel room.

I can’t say enough great things about the staff - every single one we came into contact with were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The park is beautifully maintained and the amenities were a lot of fun.

The place was clean and fun with a nice playground for the kids, and dog park, and other neat attractions. The staff was super friendly. We enjoyed our stay! The worst part was the sticker burrs in the dog paws every time they had to potty… but that is not the campground’s fault as they kept the area nicely mowed.

We stayed in a cabin. The grounds and amenities are wonderful. The A/C unit in the bedroom was too noisy to run at night when trying to sleep. We had to turn it off, and it was very uncomfortable temperature wise. Also, the refrigerator was not cleaned properly on the inside (I wiped it down). The outside of it needs a good cleaning as well (lower third).

We had a great stay. I have one piece of feedback. The pocket door for the bathroom in Cabin B is very difficult to unlock and open, especially for seniors or people with disabilities. It creates an issue where someone could get locked in the bathroom since there isn’t a handle to grab. Everything else was great, as usual.

Owners & KOA staff are awesome. The KOA was excellent; the property was well taken care of and we felt truly relaxed. We very much enjoyed our stay in one of the well kept cabins with our pets. We will be back to this KOA again.

We stayed in a cabin and I noticed that the locks on the doors were changed to a 4-digit code created by the KOA staff. There was not a deadbolt on the door to allow us to lock while we were inside. That made me feel a little unsafe. Also, the A/C could not be set lower than 72 degrees. That degrees was not comfortable at times.

So nice and clean, lots of activities for young and old. A great time was had by all in our group.

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
