Very nice, the a/c was the best, I never touched it Room was cool when I walked in, room was super clean, it is pricey for one person (that was me ) but they sleep 6 so if you split it , very affordable, thank y’all for the great stay

Stayed in a cabin and had 4 friends in RVs. Loved all of the amenities and the staff was so sweet and just amazing. Our cabin was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in.

My sister-in-law and I were treated rudely by the office staff. But when my brother and brother-in-law went to the office, the ladies were very nice to them. KOA insists that you wear this band around your wrist at all times. I felt like a prisoner wearing that thing. My kids came by to eat dinner with us. They didn’t use any facilities. Stayed in a cabin, it was great! Although we brought our dog, there was so much dog hair under the beds, bunks and stuck in the broom, that I ended up cleaning it. BTW our dog doesn’t shed so it was there before we got there. Thank you

A wonderful stay at the Galveston Island KOA for two nights! Very clean grounds and clean cabin accommodations. Site is about a 20-30 minute drive to the more ‘touristy’ side of the island, but matched our family’s pace very well! Would stay here again!

Overall the stay was good. The pool and lazy River were unusually warm this year. This is the 4th year in a row we have stayed there. I do like some of the upgrades that have been made, patio furniture, canopy’s, etc. Issue with the lazy River when people block the flow due to hanging out in the same spot. No one addresses that. Ants in our cabin, same issue last year.

Stayed in a cabin. Have to share, it wasn't that clean; debris/crumbs in drawers & fridge, hair in fridge, air intake vents heavily caked w/ lint & bathroom needed mopping (pee smell). We had 5 people & were provided dishes for 4. Pool closed Sat-Sun due to chemical issues so we enjoyed the lazy river but it was crowded. Office staff friendly & store well stocked. Will return & hope for cleaner!

We loved the Lazy River and appreciated the texts to keep us updated about everything going on at campground. Everyone at the office was so friendly!

Stayed for three days in a cabin expected it to be more crowded. Plenty of room in the pools and on the beach. Only issues: 1) no fire pit as adverstised for the cabin, and 2) no public rinse off area after being in the ocean for people and animals to wash the salt water and sand off, had to do in the shower of the cabin, 3) pool was closed for two days in the middle of the hottest days of summer.

I was surprised on how dirty the cabin was, it had ants coming out of the light fixture in loft area, coffee cups were dirty (I thought maybe the cups were stained and washed anyway and the cups came clean) crumbs in kitchen drawers, a qtip on closet floor. However, other than that we did enjoy our stay and willing to give this KOA another chance.

This is our second coming. Unfortunately the second time wasn’t as good as the first. The staff was rude. Our loft was a full size bed and we were given twin flat sheets. I asked the front desk for full the girl couldn’t get me any. The ac unit started leaking upstairs in the loft we were given a bucket but the associate seem bothered by us and said that was best she could do she had to check

I had a great experience, walking distance to the beach, very fast check in as well! The lazy river was amazing for my whole family, great drinks at the office too! The campground is well kept and easy to navigate, as well as friendly staff! Thank you!

Arrived and was pleased with the 'cabin' (tiny home!!!). Kids enjoyed the loft and bunk beds (2 boys). Every encounter with staff was great! All happy and helpful, trivia Saturday night and my 5 yo got to practice some MC skills!

We had a great stay. Our only complaint would be around the pools the drunks were using profanity, as in F this and F that around small children. In a family environment, I do think that should have been controlled. We will be back soon!

Staff was friendly. We stayed in a cabin and it was sooo immaculately cleaned we thought they were brand new. The campgrounds were also very well taken care of. Lazy River was fun for all ages. The frozen drinks in the gift shop were yummy. The catch and release is a nice little saltwater pond that is connected to a canal so fishing was convenient for our boys. Will definitely return.

With the upcharge per person per day.. you should offer a free simple way for cabins to requst additional daily resources such as towel, utensils, coffee...

I can't say enough good things about this property. This place is clean and the staff work hard to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There's always an opportunity to enjoy the many offerings that will keep you entertained. Actually, there's too much to list. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

I don't often stay at KOA campgrounds due to the price, but this one was very reasonably priced. The grounds are immaculate. The store has everything you might need and the staff are pleasant. The pool, jacuzzi and lazy river were delightful. Showers were very nice. Easy walk to the beach. I had a wonderful time here!
