No Fire Rings at Pull Throughs as advertised. Back In’s are supposed to have them. Seen maybe 1. Numerous entertainment for guests. Suggest closing in one of the areas for the Winter Months. Pretty chilly during Bingo and Movies at night Very Windy. When it Rains expect standing water all over Due to high water table.

Large sites and level slabs. Dog park is nice and there are poop bags available on nearly every street. Clean place. The heated pool and lazy river is nice too.

We had a good stay. We always enjoy this park. The Bad: Standing water in my site from backwashing. Hot tub could be a degree or two higher in temp. This could be said for the pool and lazy river as well except it needs 10-15 degrees higher. People walking through my site/barking dogs. The Good: Staff are friendly, very helpful, park is clean and well cared for. We look forward to returning 2024

This was our first time here, and we were very impressed. The grounds were well manicured and kept extremely clean. All of the staff was very nice and helpful in every way. The pool, hot tub, and lazy river were all very nice and extremely clean. The store had many things to choose from including frozen drinks. We had a sky deck at our particular campsite, which just enhanced our stay. Thank you!!

We have been to this Koa many times because it meets all of our needs when we are looking to get away with friends and family. This year we decided to spend New years Eve with family and friends at the Galveston KOA and attended the New Years Eve event with music by DJ Daddy O, snacks. drinks and party supplies. We all had such a good time we are looking forward to returning next year! Thank you!

Spacious sites, lots of amenities, and tons of activities. They update you by txt as to their activities. Heated pools and lazy river. We will be back.

This is def one of the most beautiful KOAs! The sites are clean and spacious, the amenities and all the events are so fun and festive. We really enjoyed all the fun run ins we had with the employees and felt so welcomed. Will def be back! Thank you for such an amazing and relaxing experience !

Nice clean park and staff is nice. Too far removed from everything. Driving to park at night passing countless restaurants and stores then finding out it still a twenty minute drive to park. Arrived about an hour after office closed, nobody around to show you to site or help with lights to back in to site in a dark corner of available sites.

This park is in a very remote location, miles from any conventional shopping location (18 miles from Galveston Walmart) or any sizeable market. Also it isn't "a short distance from the beach" as advertised. Otherwise the park is very clean and staff very friendly.

Great location. Lots of activities. Poor WiFi. Mostly long-termers. Dogs off-leash, constant barking, dogs tied outside unattended in horrible mosquito swarms. Heart-breaking. Improperly paved roads with standing water at campground made mosquitos worse. Lots of campgrounds on Galveston Island so will check those out next visit. Super nice people working in the office.

We stayed in the elevated cabin which was absolutely amazing. So pretty appears brand new and perfect size for our family of four! Manager (Tammy) was so nice, too! We'll be back!

WIFI very poor. Disconnects every 15 minutes. All KOAs need an upgraded WIFI system.

Have stayed there before but never in a cabin. Cabin had multiple issues wrong but assistant manager did allow me to check our early since I was traveling with my mother with dementia. Great facility and I really appreciated them doing this. I was more than willing to take a credit for another stay but they refunded my money.

This is the best KOA or any other RV park that I have ever stayed in!! The staff is phenomenal the sites are very clean. Daily updates as to what is going on was really helpful. I plan on making this my winter destination next year. And I can’t wait to come back!!!

Very nice and far enough from Galveston center so it’s quiet. Beach is right across the street which is awesome. End of November was a little on the cool side but overall a very nice RV park and would recommend. Definitely will be back.

Only reason for a rating of 4 is for the distance to Galveston. Otherwise I would rate a 5. Great park, friendly and accommodating staff and well maintained. We had a good time.

All of the staff members are very courteous and very helpful both in the office and at the camp site.... I really like how the front office communicates via text messages concerning daily activities and also on weather conditions

This is a lovely place. We really enjoyed our time and we plan on coming back to the same location next year. Everything was great lovely place beautiful amenities. The only thing that me and my wife both agreed on is the restrooms do need a little more attention.

Everyone is always so nice at this KOA and always so willing to help. We love all the new upgrades to the sites and really enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday. We always have the best time when we book a stay at this location and our son loves that you heat the lazy river in the winter:) It is definatly his favorite spot.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

I don't often stay at KOA campgrounds due to the price, but this one was very reasonably priced. The grounds are immaculate. The store has everything you might need and the staff are pleasant. The pool, jacuzzi and lazy river were delightful. Showers were very nice. Easy walk to the beach. I had a wonderful time here!

Well maintained campground and reasonably priced. Sites were large with plenty of green lawn. Easy to get in and out with a camper on an overnight stay.
