Other than the weather all went well! Lynn at the front desk helped us out more than once and the lady that did the bird feeders with the kids was amazing!!

The stay was great but y’all did to enforce the rules at the pool and lazy river. There where kids there without parents and running and running and diving in the pool and lazy river.

Very well-maintained KOA. Bathrooms were always clean, the pool was clean, and they had several activities during the weekend. All staff were professional and helpful. We've been here several times and will return.

First time staying at the Galveston KOA. Will be back. Grounds are clean with a ton of activities on site. If you’re looking for a fun relaxing day at the pool or beach, this is the place to stay. I would also like to rate the frozen daiquiris.. 10/10! I would love to elaborate with finer details, but after 2 drinks I can’t remember much. Loved our stay!

The staff at this location were amazing, the pools were crystal clear, and the grounds, well, I don't think you could find a piece of trash on the ground even if you were looking.

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. We were informed about events and changes as they happened. The campground was very clean. The grounds, pools and restrooms were immaculate.

Wonderful place! My site was clean and ready for me, and the whole compound was clean. So many great activities ongoing at KOA throughout the day. Staff were kind / friendly.

It is a nice park. Love the level concrete pads. Hate that I cannot pick my spot. Before it was KOA, we could pick our spot. They say they will try and accommodate you, but don't hold your breath. Something about 'the computer picks your spot'. Glad we didn't have our regular 3 trailer crew with us. No telling where we'd be all spread out to.

This KOA is so clean and well taking care of. They have a wonderful staff and their presence is seen throughout the resort. So many amenities for the kids to do. This was our 10th year as a tradition with our grandkids and it’s always fun meeting other campers.

Our stay was outstanding. Galveston’s west end has always been a favorite place for us. But since my wife’s uncle sold his house at Sea Isle decades ago we haven’t had a place to land. Well, with our RV and the KOA we now do, and we get to make new fond memories. The whole camp is wonderful and run by friendly people who all make great conversation. We loved the Lazy River but we feel like you should either provide inner tubes like they do at the RV park down the road from you or you could at least rent them for a small fee. We had to purchase 4 inner tubes at $10 apiece. Had we known that you did not provide them, we would have purchased them at a cheaper price somewhere else. We did enjoy our stay. Very nice park. Thank-you!

Loved this clean beautiful spacious rv park. Super friendly staff! Fun heated lazy river. Quite beautiful beach just across the street. Gorgeous sunrise from the beach equally gorgeous sunset from our RV spot . Would highly recommend this park and hope to go back again.

The state is fantastic. This is the third year in a row. I have stayed there. Disappointment is I was in 117 and water maintained in the front of the driveway the whole time I was there this is the second year in a row. They keep backwash the pool and it should not drain into the street like that. It should drain into a drain. This should not happen on a prime site

The campgrounds are always so well kept. Of all of the times we have stayed at this campground over the years, this is the first stay that we witnessed so many visitors letting their dogs wander off leash. We even witnessed someone letting their dogs run loose in the fenced CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND area! The dogs were relieving themselves on the playground equipment!

Our check in was quick and easy. Our site was a pull through near the front of the camp. Our 41’ class a coach pulling an F150 would not fit on the spot. I had to disconnect to get the truck out of the road. The site was well kept with nice green grass. Pools look great. We did not use any of the facilities. Beach is across the road. Great KOA. We are looking forward to another stay

We have been coming to Galveston Island KOA every year since before it was KOA. We love the park and staff. My only complaint is that I feel that there needs to be more regulation in the lazy river. If people want to congregate and stand, they need to be in the pool. People are allowed to stand and clog up the flow and then they get mad when bumped. River needs to flow unrestricted. Thank you.

Everything was great about our stay. The items in the store were priced great with a great selection of Only things I would have to say is mosquitoes were pretty bad, but that’s hard to control. And the other thing I’d have to say is we had several fire ant piles and were biting us while hanging outside. They were crawling in the grass

Always a good stay. I always recommend this Koa to others. The only thing that could have been better would have been colder water in the lazy river. We �ϋ� this campground and the employees and managers of this KOA. Will be back at least 3 more times this year!

We've stayed here (and all of the Galveston RV parks) a lot. This was the best visit we've had to the KOA. Often, the staff have been less than friendly when we've come there. This time, they were AWESOME! Very friendly. Very helpful. They still enforced rules, but they were nice about it this time.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The pull through spaces are large compared to other parks we have stayed in the pass. Very well kept.

We enjoy floating the lazy river. However, large groups will congregate with their ice chest set up and block the flow of people. It’s frustrating because you’re trying hard not to bump into them. Yall are so diligent about insisting arm bands are worn. Please be as diligent about monitoring this problem so others can enjoy floating. The other pool is perfect for the ones who want to park it!

This was our second year stay at this KOA. The staff is fantastic. Always helpful, but most importantly friendly with smiles. Like they enjoy it.. crazy I know. Close to the beach and yet far away from the crowds in the City of Galveston. See you next year!

Great time as always (our 3rd time) and enjoyed watching the fireworks off of the beach from our own campsite. The pool and lazy river were great and the drinks were better! The KOA staff did a great job and always checked on us and asked if we needed anything. Steve was very informative as he answered any questions we had. Thanks again and we’ll be back soon ��

We enjoyed the lazy river and pool. Drinks from the store were STRONG. Sites were level, and we had plenty of room between us and our neighbors.

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
