We stayed for the Lone Star Bike Rally. The property was clean, the staff was amazing, and the amenities were on point. There was live music, Wagu beef jerky sampling, Happy hour, pools heated who could ask for anymore. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. Amazing place Highly recommend it.

Very clean and well kemped park plenty of amenities too to use.The only downside was the loud music late at night.That could be policed a little bit better.Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.The groundskeeping personnel and lori, the cashier were very personable and willing to help us and we had a very pleasant experience

We stayed one nite on our way to California and it was ok. We just needed to get a good nights sleep at a reasonable price. Upon arrival staff member guided us to our site which was very helpful.

We have been traveling across country and back staying at multiple KOA’s. This is by far the best!! Staff are excellent. They are engaged with the visitors and really seem to like their job. The entire campground is so well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend!! Thank you all!!!

Galveston KOA is one o the best! It is quiet, clean, the staff is friendly. Sites are large and level. One week was not long enough so we will be back sooner than later.

People were very nice to us. The cabins were nice but roll out mattress was awful. To many steps. Bad choice we made for the tall one. Should have looked at pictures. Great live music. Mosquitos ate us alive. To expensive in iur own RV . Very clesn fscility snd nice otherwise.

We had a great time, and we have been to this location about 5 times in the past 4 months, so we must love it! The staff is great, very friendly and always willing to help if needed, smile when you pass them or drive by. They have excellent amenities, lazy river, an additional pool and jacuzzi, and camp store fully stocked with adult beverages and lots of areas for the kids to play. Love it!

All the amenities we required were here and the staff were exceptional. The kOA is not near groceries but had a good selection that fit our needs. We would return.

I can’t say enough great things about the staff - every single one we came into contact with were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The park is beautifully maintained and the amenities were a lot of fun.

All was great except the grass areas contained a lot of sand spurs / burs. It was a big problem with our dog. They are difficult to remove and get carried in to the camper and onto the carpet and rugs. The plant is relatively easy to control with lawn treatment. We will probably look for a different facility in the spring.

Restrooms are clean and park is neat. Great frozen drinks in the shop! Nice pool and lazy river. We enjoyed staying in one of the spots that had a raised platform. We could see the gulf and had a nice cool breeze in the evening

Friendly staff, close to beach, tent camping is on rv sites so be prepared (no shade, fire pits, or grills). Watch out for mosquitos - our site was inundated.

The pool and lazy river were heated and very clean. Campsites were nicely spaced apart. Quiet. Beach access about 200 yards from the main entrance. Store had a nice collection of items to purchase. Bring your own water float items for the lazy river - not supplied.

The place was clean and fun with a nice playground for the kids, and dog park, and other neat attractions. The staff was super friendly. We enjoyed our stay! The worst part was the sticker burrs in the dog paws every time they had to potty… but that is not the campground’s fault as they kept the area nicely mowed.

WiFi system with Comcast not good, too many dropped signals. Might want to consider adding a lighted fishing peer with pergola that is ADA compliant for senior citizens. The smile on a grandchild’s face when they catch their first fish is a cell phone camera moment.

I really loved the place it was clean and well maintained. I loved the fact that there was always some worker around which definitely made it feel like yourself and property were secure. If I were to complain about anything it would be the bad Wi-Fi definitely needs some upgrades for the location and size.

Had a great 9 day stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Campground well maintained. Nice pool, hot tub and lazy river which we enjoy using every day! Frozen adult beverages - brilliant idea; ordered starting at checkin made setting up more enjoyable and also several more times during our stay�. Liked that the location was far enough away from the crowds but easily accessible to downtown.

Stay was great. We stay at KOA every time we come to Galveston. Always clean. Feels safe. Only issue we had was the water smelled nasty. Never had that issue before. And We do have a filter on the hose. Other than that, our trip was great. That wouldn’t stop us from coming back.

Always a nice place to stay with my grandkids but recently the RV cap lights and decorative lights are becoming annoying at bed time. Should put a limit of what time they are aloud on like excessive noise at night.

We stayed in a cabin. The grounds and amenities are wonderful. The A/C unit in the bedroom was too noisy to run at night when trying to sleep. We had to turn it off, and it was very uncomfortable temperature wise. Also, the refrigerator was not cleaned properly on the inside (I wiped it down). The outside of it needs a good cleaning as well (lower third).

We had a great stay. I have one piece of feedback. The pocket door for the bathroom in Cabin B is very difficult to unlock and open, especially for seniors or people with disabilities. It creates an issue where someone could get locked in the bathroom since there isn’t a handle to grab. Everything else was great, as usual.

We were there 10/24-10/27. Team here is awesome! We love the location away from the helicopters, loud stereo's from passing cars, and all that big crowds bring to the Galveston main road by the public beach. Amenities are awesome, something here for everyone. Park is just the right size, and is directly across the street from the beach. Daily emails with activities for the day that you can choose to participate in if you wish. Great play area for kids in addition to a jump pad. Onsite store is well stocked, and they offer great tasting adult beverages! Even a great place for the pups to play in center of park. Come on down, highly recommend. Will see ya'll in December!

This place is truly awesome me and my family just spent the weekend there and the staff was so sweet they did bingo,carnival games,and we even watched Beetlejuice the pools were amazing the whole experience of the place was just perfect thank you so much we will be back we plan on becoming regulars

We fully enjoyed our stay in Flamingo Fun! It is perfectly located by the Lazy River and Pavilion. The Lazy River let's you kick back & literally go with the flow. They have several activities in the Pavilion as well as TV's to watch your favorite sports game with plenty of picnic tables to all sit together. The staff is super friendly & grounds are very well kept and clean. They all take pride in hospitality and keeping everything nice. The general store has so many items to grab if you have forgotten anything. If you like a special frosty adult beverage, they have 4 flavors! Kamp K9 is perfect for our furry family. The loved hanging out and freely roam. They enjoyed the long walks around the grounds set up with doggie many disposal areas with bags or the waste. When in Texas be prepared with bug spray to protect you and your family, just like you would with sunscreen and apply often. We will be back!
