We are so sad to of only stayed one day on our road trip back home. Beautiful location easy access to the beach. The daiquiris are strong so watch out.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location. Close to beach access. Well maintained sites, level with a lot of extra concrete for tow vehicle and picnic table. Loved the pickle ball courts (lighted). Fun Halloween activities for the family. Staff was very supportive and friendly. Great stay

We had an awesome time staying in a cabin Friday and Saturday. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lot of things to do for granddaughter and us. Many Halloween decorations and activities for the kids. We highly recommended staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be to have the pool heater turned on in the lazy river.

Staff was medium friendly, bathrooms quite clean

Great KOA, clean, good amenities, and activities for guests/children. The only things that affected our stay this time were 1) inconsiderate partyers not adhering to the quiet time; and 2) a plague of biting mosquitos- I know not the KOA fault and never happened before but something to keep in mind it seems at this time of year.

Great facility, campsite a bit overrun by ants

Staff always friendly and helpful, areas are always clean....accommodations are great!!!

We had an enjoyable time there. We had two new puppies we really couldn’t leave alone much so weren’t able to utilize all the activities there. We have already made reservations for next spring. I only wish there was another restroom/shower building closer to the area close to the pond.

The stay at KOA was very good, everybody enjoyed themselves. The staff was very accommodating, thumbs up to Arline. You are the best!!!!! The cabins need a little TLC . Underneath the couch could use a sweeping and floor needed to be mop.

Absolutely a wonderful campground. Staff was great!

We had a great time! It would have been a 5 if the Lazy River had been heated! It was painfully cold!

Great campground with nice pools, well maintained and friendly staff. One of the best KOAs we’ve been to. Very close to beach.

A great, clean, park with well spaced sites. Nice amenities. Very nice and friendly staff. The only negative is we were not able to enjoy sitting outdoors much because of constant, heavy mosquito bombardment. Repellant just wasn't enough. Unfortunately this is due to season and location. Otherwise this is one of the nicest KOAs we have ever encountered.

Need to clean bbq pit better and more wheelchair accessible bathrooms for lower building. But, otherwise office personnel was nice.

I'm really put off by the fact that the "better" spots are unavailable for people like me that travel full time & camp in a tent. I'm not permitted to stay in the sites containing patio areas (chairs & firepits) nor the sites with the beautiful sky decks for viewing the stunning sunsets we get on the West End. (EVEN if I were to be okay with paying the same amount as an RV camper)

Everyone that works there were great. I love the location because you are still close enough to go to town but far enough away for peace and quiet enjoy the beach and sound.

We have stayed several times in one of your cabins. Our recent stay was a disappointment. The sliding doors were difficult to close and because the lock on the doors were not working properly, it was a struggle. The cabin is not level because the bottom drawer in the bedroom would not stay shut. The big issue this is the floor in the bedroom is spongy next to the bed. Structural issue.

The Galveston Island KOA was absolutely the best! We were only going to stay 3 days and decided to stay 3 more days and when those days were up, we were so sad to leave the resort. All the amenities were fabulous and I was so sore from playing pickle ball and doing a 6 mile hike on the one of the cleanest beaches I have ever seen. A big shout out to the staff! They are friendly and helpful.

We stayed a week at this RV park from the end of June to July 4. Nice level RV pads. Most are 25'x65' with about 1/3 being pull thru's. This is the furthest "West End" RV park on the island about 3.5 miles from San Luis Pass. We enjoyed this location since it's quiet with less traffic and in close proximity to the beach access point 36 (less than a mile) which is the best beach on Galveston Island. From our site (#31) you get a peek of the water. Our 7 year old grandson really enjoyed the lazy river, and so did a lot of the adults. A nice place to soak & float while responsibly enjoying an adult beverage and making new friends. There is also a pool and hot tub. Movie night at the lazy river on the weekends. Also close by is the (very laid back) Sandbar Grille in The West End Marina. The Sandbar Grille is a great place to eat or just hang out and have a drink when coming off the beach. Will stay at this park again!

We were in Site# 332. The check in was at 1pm and Check out is at 11am.. We had Full hook- up with a concrete pull-through. We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep. The site was easy to level. Our site was not shaded with no trees. This was a larger sized lot with our neighbors not too close. The lot comes with a concrete patio with picnic table and built in grill box (no actual fire ring). We also got a Paw Pen site for our dogs. Some have a fire ring in the deluxe sites. There is free WiFi. They offer Cable TV and there are many channels. There is not a community outdoor kitchen but do have community fire pit. They sell wood for $8 a bundle. They do not provide garbage service at your site so you must walk to garbage dumpster. You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They do not provide golf cart rentals. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground. They do have a heated swimming pool with and a separate lazy river. They have a catch and release fishing Lake. There is a Playground. They also offer basketball sport court, pickleball, horseshoe, and cornhole. There is also a jumping pad. They have a decent general store (that sells frozen daiquiris). The streets within the campground are paved and good for riding bikes. There is a public access to the ocean across the street. They have cabins for rent. They have one shower house. The shower house has individual bathrooms with your own sink, shower, toilet. These are kept very clean. There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility, but they have a change machine. There are approximately 4 washers and 4dryers.It is approximately $2.25 to wash and $2.25to dry a load. They have a fenced in dog park. Mosquitoes were a small issue and bug spray was needed. We received daily texts outlining the activities for the day like bingo, happy hours, trivia night, tamale truck, Texas Hold Em, tie dying, and live music.
