A nice park at the far west end of Galveston Island, with large sites. WiFi is advertised but unusable. In the 15 nights we we there we were given 5 different excuses 5 different days as to why the WiFi didn't work. Just be honest about it. Cell service was hit or miss, so WiFi was 1 reason we chose this KOA. Other than that, we had a good stay.

My very first day rv experience at this KOA. Professional staff from the very start of checking in. Campgrounds were all clean and well maintained. I definitely will stay again and continue using KOA camp grounds.

Not sure I have commented before. Facility was fine and staff was good. But my site was 301. Based on moist top soil, I think perhaps it was close to the leach field. No odors, but the mosquitoes were absolutely terrible. If you went outside for 30 seconds, you would be attacked! Staff wanted campers to call mosquito abatement, but they should have had a private contractor spray. I won't be back.

One of the best rv parks we have ever stayed at! Wonderful pools and hot tub and entertainment and overall decor! Clean and friendly staff and good size sites..could see spending an entire vacation there..very close to the beach which was wonderful in nov! Only downside was a lot of mosquitoes but I think due to recent rain

It rained for my entire 2 day visit but I was able to ride my bike along the beach, enjoy your pool and spa and do a thorough clean of my camper. Your facities are excellent.

It was a wonderful stay. It was very peaceful. Everything was in excellent condition. The staff was very warm and helpful. We hope to be back again soon.

The staff went out of their way to help us feel comfortable and happy! The campground was clean and well maintained. The location is good. I will for sure stay again.

Always a great stay. Quiet and activities for those that care to participate. I would recommend having a breakfast available and not just tacos or donuts. In the future if you have the tacos, let people know there is a charge for them. Wonderful staff and wonderful campgrounds. Love it.

Was a little disappointed when we checked in, because we thought we had a site that we had gotten last year, but was told differently that we did not have that site. Someone else was in it. We were not told last year that we had to pay $40 to guarantee reserve it. But that’s OK! We were just a couple of sites down, and we still had a great time!

Stayed 2 nights. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a weekend “motorcycle run” so it was loud throughout each night. Obviously, this was not the park/managements fault. The restroom/showers were clean. However, they are located on a second floor and are not very good for ADA needs. Beach is near to drive to or walk about 1/2 mi..

The linen was not clean. The sheets on the fold out bed had what appeared to be human body fluids. The floors were filthy. The entire cabin was one huge mosquito nest (I may as well have slept outside). The television had snow on every single channel. The refrigerator was messy. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom looked like it was about to come crashing down at any minute, extremely off balance

The stay was fine but I understand that your policy is that anyone can get your spot the next year before you have a chance to reserve it. That is not good business practice. I would rethink that policy if I were you.

Love 10pm "quiet" time! Place was perfectly manicured and the staff are super friendly. My only suggestion is to maybe tell guests 20 minutes in the shower max since there are only 4. The bathroom/showers were clean and the water was hot!

It's a very clean RV park. Employees were very helpful. Quite, even with Rally goers. The doggie park is awesome too. It's centrally located. It's like being at home.

We hosted a small group rally at the Galveston Island KOA. We decided to stay for a full week due to their fantastic weekly rates. The manager Tammy and Director of Guest Services Marc made sure we were well taken care of. The park hosted events daily, and sometimes multiple events keeping us busy the entire week. Event coordinator Becky hosted most of these events with a great smile and attitude. The staff went as far as tailoring a couple of the events towards our preferences making it even better. We've been to Galveston Island KOA the past 3 years and each year they've added improvements making our stay even more enjoyable. The "cherry on top" was the fact they had great live music by national touring duo Thom Shepherd & Coley McCabe. I can tell you if you are looking for an affordable, clean, fun park for a rally, or family vacation, Galveston Island KOA is your place! Plenty to do within the park, or head right across the street to the crashing waves of the Gulf.

I can't say enough good things about this property. This place is clean and the staff work hard to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There's always an opportunity to enjoy the many offerings that will keep you entertained. Actually, there's too much to list. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!
