If you enjoy feathered friends, then the Galveston FeatherFest is the event for you! Thousands of brightly-colored birds take flight to our island every spring during their northward migration. They cross the Gulf from Central and South America, and one prime location to see them is the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail. FeatherFest is all about four days of birding and nature photography workshops, and adventurous field trips. In the evenings there are delightful social events. It is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy nature! Coming for the festival or just for some birding in your own? Reserve your stay at KOA.
