The overall campground was very nice, however with the amount of money we paid to stay for the amenities, amenities were closed. The slide was only open a short duration of time on Saturday for our entire 5 day trip. The bar for drinks and food was closed on Sunday. We asked about opening the amenities and staff said they were short and they had no one to work. Mary, was very unprofessional.

The dump station is too tight to get through with a large camper too many obstacles in the way to make a wide turn. This needs to be improved on. With the row of trees/hedges, fence and garbage cans in the way you cannot maneuver around, we ended up backing out of there because we could not make the turn and not dumping very disappointed.

I was disappointed with pool area/bar/restaurant because not all amenities were open during our stay. Not all pool gates were unlocked which made traveling to restrooms difficult. Slide was not open full pool hours Friday or Sunday. Bar/restaurant randomly closed sunday. When addressed about food in pool area, snide comments by Mary about not being able to read the sign. Wasnt even being consumed.

I stayed in a deluxe cabin and the water was so sulfur smelling that I could not stay the second night. The management has know about this for some time and have not fixed the well. It probably would not pass inspection. It caused me to have a headache and made me nauseous. Totally unacceptable for a KOA. Check the ratings....not good. I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone

The Door County KOA is one of the nicest KOAs we’ve been to. It has lots of shade trees, spacious spots and amenities for all ages. It’s a very clean campground, too. Keep up the good work everyone.

The campground owners and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit and stay again. Thank you so very much for a wonderful experience. For my friends who joined me it was their first time ever at a KOA, now they want to join.

Site 64. I reserved a deluxe pull-thru that clearly states "on a large site with a concrete patio as well as a large deck, and is close to the playground".Well, there is no deck, just the concrete patio and the playground is over 400 yards away! The site is large and level but way too long. We had to back out of our site at least 200 feet each time we left as that is the only direction to go.

Clean deluxe cabin, bathhouse was well maintained and the service was excellent. The kids enjoyed the 9-hole mini golf and pool. Nice and relaxing campground!

This koa is one of the nicest we have stayed at , camp sites had lots of room , and amenities . Staff was very friendly .

Recently spent 30 days here. Premium back in-newly renovated. . Site was large and beautiful. Truly enjoyed my time there. Staff was great. If internet is a must have-you will probably be disappointed. Not a big loss for me. There is an infrequent sewer smell coming from the bath house area spread by a noisy window fan. Again, thins did not interfere with us enjoying the outside time.

Our site was nice and spacious, the kids had a great time using the pool and arcade and there was a fantastic band that played on Saturday night as part of the themed weekend. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the grounds were well maintained. We would definitely stay again if visiting Door County.

We rented a deluxe cabin. The screen door was ripped upon arrival which meant we couldn’t use it to enjoy fresh air. The grease tray on the grill was never emptied so it caught fire when we tried to use it. The fire rings are so tall it wasn’t worth sitting next to because you couldn’t feel the heat. The bar/food area was never open during our stay.

it was a great place to stay! It was clean and the people were very nice. We had an issue with our grill and all I had to do was text them and they sent someone over to fix the issue.I would recommend it to friends & Family.

Had a great stay! Despite reading lots of negative reviews while they were under construction, we were pleased to find everything working and looking great for our 3 week stay. People were friendly and site was lovely. Only frustrations were poor cell service in the area and smelly water from the well. Otherwise loved it! Great pools and sites.

First time camping here. Sites didn't have tent pads like advertised on website even though I had emailed weeks prior to stay wanting info on the size & the space was confirmed. Where the tents were intended to go was so uneven and bumpy. The pool was extremely dirty with bugs and grass. Staff seemed disorganized with setting us up. The bartender was not friendly when we ordered food.

This was the first time to this koa and we were pleasantly surprised this koa has done a remodel of the park the sites were big and roomy the pool was nice and the park was well kept. Way to go to the staff looking forward to a return stay!

Very nice. Thought the live music was nice until it got LOUDER AND LOUDER the later it got and went too far into the night. Loved the campground itself, the store and the garbage pickup is a dream come true. The beautiful pools and walkable pond was great.

We enjoyed our stay, the campground is well maintained and clean (we did not use showers). The campsites were spacious, it did not fill like a parking lot. We did have a utility problem with our first site, they attempt to fix it and when it could not be repaired, they were apologetic and found us a new site. The staff we interacted with were friendly had helpful. We will return again.

We stayed during the week so it was nice and quiet! The wifi could be better, but I belive that is being upgraded. I know they were short staffed, so I was impressed when I asked for a change of sheets and they came within an hour! It would be nice to have a change exchange machine in the laundry building. A more detailed list of items included in the cabins would also be beneficial when packing.

Our stay overall was good, about 1 wk before our stay I received a call that if I pd. $25 Our reservation would get locked in and we would be close to our friends who we were traveling with. When we arrived we wete still going to be far apart. It was fixed but makes me wonder why I pd extra $25 Also dog park is way too far away for people with pets. We stay at a lot of KOA there are alot better.

We had a large group in one area. We could not bother anyone yet security came by because we were laughing. Freinds of ours rented a cabin. KOA put they money on the wrong cabin. They refunded there money then tried to run their card through again. The refund takes a couple days. They locked their card because they tried it a couple times. They called the police on them. This is ridiculous.

We had a group consisting of family members of all ages, from a 1 year old to great grandparents. We had cabin rentals and campsites. Checkin was fast and easy! Cabin was nice. It has everything you need but bring toilet paper, both our cabins ran out. Now if they could have only did something about the weather. Lol! Stay was nice and we look forward to next year.

Very nice campground with good spacious level sites. What kept me from giving it a 5 was the Wi-Fi/internet connections and office hours. I never could get it to work and when I was needing Wi-Fi the office was closed.

We had pleasant experiences with the staff each time we interacted with them. We were told up front which amenities were/weren't available. Bonus: the big slide was fixed during our stay! Yes, it's a work in progress, though having the 2nd toilet installed in the men's room would have been nice and the tall fire pits are a bummer. Overall, we had fun & enjoyed our 5-night stay.

All the staff in the general store, bar, and on site we're super friendly and helpful. We had a perfect spot that was close to the bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms were clean even smelled good. They also have delicious pizza from the bar. I was extremely impressed with everything this campsite had to offer and I look forward to making more memories here in the future.

Everybody was soo nice. The staff was just as nice. Very family oriented. My kids had a ball. It was very sad/quiet leaving after our labor day weekend. My teenagers and 4 year old begged for us to purchase a seasonal.

The drive in can be confusing, however once you get there it all makes sense. It is one of the nicest KOAs in the country, and believe me I've been to over 20 of them across the Pacifi NW, central and Midwest. Their sites and amenities are top notch. My wife and I enjoyed night walks around the charming permanent neighborhoods and sit by the bonfires at night. Highly recommend this KOA. Not a whole lot to do outside the park like restaurants etc, so come prepared with everything you'll need. Dog friendly park. We were in a 36ft 5th wheel in one of their deluxe sites. We stayed there in August 2022 for 2 nights.
