Wonderful, clean, friendly! My favorite campground!

I have stayed in this park many times and I was a bit disappointed this time. I can understand it was during the week so things are slow, but the cabin I stayed in was a little more rundown than in the past. A screen was busted and the windows by the bed were dirty with dog nose prints. The restroom did not get cleaned for 3 days. The only plus is that the campground was not busy.

We loved all the Halloween festivities going on. Cabin was in a good location, but NOT clean. Shower was dirty and had a razor from previous guest left behind. Brown mold/grime behind sink faucets, bathroom door didn't shut all the way. Loft sandy/dirty floors, dishes left filthy and pull out sofa filled with crumbs. Not a fan of having to brush teeth in kitchen sink.

Maintenance Staff was quick to address some issues in my cabin and the front desk staff although busy was very personable with everyone that was waiting to check in!

Our stay was fantastic. Cabin was nice and clean and the park was decorated wonderful for Halloween. The activities you all had planned was really the highlight of our trip. I enjoyed all the staff on golf carts throughout the park watching the kids and answering questions. The only thing from a five rating was the bathhouses, the men’s was AWFUL day and night. Maybe more frequent cleanings?

The cabin we were assigned, 223, was described as "Deluxe Cabin, Full Bath, Full Kitchen" when in fact the cabin was equipped with a mini fridge and no oven. The bathroom was barely functional for a 6'3", 290 lb. male as i had to make gymnastic moves when sitting on the toilet or taking a shower. Not sure I've seen a toilet seat that small before. Bathroom faucet handle was ready to come off also.

We stayed in the cabin, with bathroom, the cabins are getting some age on them now, need some updates, like bigger heaters in the cold weather. The little ones don’t do much keeps you cold brighter lights for the living room. It’s pretty dim. it’s hard to see Just some little updates. Other than that. It was fine thanks.

The cabins are all very beautiful, nestled in the KOA campground next to a river, if you have any problems, you can go to the front desk and they address it immediately

We love the Cherokee KOA. We have been coming here since our kids were young. They are now 48 and 45, and the 45 year old still comes with us. We started out in a tent and now stay in a deluxe cabin, but being here is a tradition we hope to continue for many years to come.

We stayed in a cabin with elec and beds. It was lovely. We had wood and ice delivered which was great. They also picked up trash daily. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The Halloween theme was wonderful with decorations everywhere. My only complaint is the bathrooms were dirty and gross. They didn't clean them daily. They should be checked dailyn if not twice a day.

Loved my cabin over the river. This is my 3rd visit since June . It’s my getaway place. Wish I lived closer . There’s so much to do in the campground I just relax and stay there most the time . They went all out for Halloween month . Families and kids seemed to have a blast.

The campground needs to work more on the maintenance of the cabins. it was missing lights; electrical plugs didn't work on porch. bath sink was stopped up. grill was full of old grease and caused a flame up when cooking on it.

We stayed in a 2 bd/1 bth cabin on the river. The deck was comfortable and overlooked the river. The inside of the cabin needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance. There was black “stuff” on the grout around the bathtub and the shelves were peeling. The sink faucet was dirty underneath. The floors need deep cleaning. The mattresses were very comfortable. I hope these issues will be addres

This is awesome place to take the family no matter the ages. So close to the local town for any shopping you might need. Loved the streams that are right outside your door. Falls less then a mile from the site. Will definitely be coming back!!! We stayed in a cabin with bathroom, everything you need is in this unit. Being a single mother, this option made a cost efficient vacation!!!

Small deluxe cabin was perfect for our family. Great place for kids to run around, play and ride bikes. Close to many trails, waterfalls and local attractions.

We stayed in a camping cabin on the river. It was nice and relaxing. The only thing different I wish was there were more plug ins in the cabin The game room and pool area were not so clean. Other than that it was a great stay. We had 4 boys and they loved every minute of it. We will be back.

The people you have working in the store are GREAT, WONDERFUL & SO HELPFUL! The only complaint I have is the little cabin needed a little work and a little cleaner. But all & all we loved it!

Overall campground cleanliness and upkeep has gone down hill over the past 4 years we have stayed. Overgrown grass near bathrooms and mechanical equipment parked next to cabins. Cabins need upgraded and lots of repairs. Our was moldy. Larger cabin had broken faucet and luke warm water. Position ivy growing in front of our cabin near the creek which needs to be sprayed. Overall, underwhelming trip.

We come every year and look forward to it every single time . We just got home yesterday and are looking forward to coming back. All the staff was overly nice. NOT a complaint but I do think it should be noted we stayed for a week in cabin #240- it was very nice but when we turned the ceiling fan and ac on it blew out black stuff all over our beds- that kinda grossed me out.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the campgrounds. We had a good mixture of cabin and campers, about 30 of us in total. Only issue i had, was the bed in my cabin, it was alittle hard for my liking. Other than that, it was an amazing trip and can't wait to do it again next year!

We love Cherokee KOA, Everything was great about our stay. EXCEPT for some of the cleanliness of our cabin. Pots and pans, eating utensils, and a few other kitchen items were nasty. I was offered half off of my first nights stay. I feel like a full nights stay should’ve been offered instead. Great place, but need to adjust how they check cleanliness of items inside cabin.

We love the Cherokee KOA. The only issue we had when we arrived one of the beds was covered in stink bugs. We had gnats and flies in cabin which we have never had in the past. Overall a great campground.

Lots of stink bugs every where in the cabin. Do not like the tv channel setup. Cabin check in time is to late(4) and only 1 hour before the office closes at 5. Thurs nights are to priced high that is the reason we didn't stay longer.
