Clean bathrooms, clean cabin, super nice employees, clean showers. Well kept grounds quite camp grounds good price points for the cabins. We stayed 4 night’s enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful with lots of trees and close to all the things we wanted to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Easy in and out of the for a mountain RV park. Just a all around great experience

Keeps getting better. We've been coming here since around 2008 and it keeps us coming every year. Very clean and people are so friendly and helpful. We booked for October when we left yesterday.

We arrived after closing time and found that we had been assigned a different cabin than I had requested at my reservation. I called the after hrs#and the manager, Teresa, took care of things right away. All staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Many upgrades have been done. Campground looks great. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks KOA staff!

My screen door did not shut did not have a latch on it to lock it at night. Whoever put that screen door up was not a carpenter. It does not shut. It does not fit the door go look the hairdryer did not work the night light did not work and I also didn’t have no clock at all in the cabin And then they need to put some mixing bowls in there. Thank you.

This campground is absolutely beautiful and the staff is super friendly. My only suggestion would be adding a light to the dog park. Other than that, it is perfect!!!

The screen door did not fit the front door at 5:05 didn’t shut or lock latch lock the hairdryer did not work. Neither did the nightlight on my hairdryer and did not have no clock in the cabin at all, and they could use some bowls for mixing, but that front door screen was awful and I don’t even know who put that door on, but was not no Carpenter it didn’t shut was not happy about that

We came up for my bday and Mother’s Day. We camp a lot n koa is our weapon of choice and this koa didn’t disappoint clean bath houses good grief they were clean. All the employees were awesome and kind Wyatt was awesome he told us all about local places to visit and actually talked to us and answered questions. Way over priced, deluxe cabins were more like a cheap hourly hotel room. Kitchen faucet would not turn off, had use main water cutoff to turn it off. Large gaps around outside door that bugs keep using. Toilet seat with cigarette burns. Lights above bed didn't work, missing drawers from furniture. Floor was uneven and.pulled apart with large gaps. Have not been in over 4 years. Has greatly improved. Still has a way to go. Need to pave the roads and put fold down seats in the women's showers along with a rail because of the slipping and slope of the floor. Was a yearly trip for my mom and myself. Will try to go again.

You moved us to a smaller cabin. The cabin was not adequate because it didn’t have the kitchen setup that our original booking was supposed to have. It also was not pet free. The queen bed mattress was horrible and was completely worn out and needed replacing. The shower curtain was moldy. Old rat trap was left under the kitchen counter. The gutter downspout was missing.

This time was disappointing. 1) We arrived at 3:30ish and were told, in no uncertain terms, check-in was 4:00pm. No exceptions. No explanation. Bad customer service. 2) Water main pipe burst and we had no water as of Sunday morning through check out. We were refunded 2 nights OR offered another cabin. Moving wasn't feasible. It really should be made a priority to fix the issue w/in 24 hrs.

Loved staying in cabin 244. Perfect water view, place was clean, stocked beyond our expectations. We even caught some trout finally!!!!!! Love it atKOA Cherokee

The campground is wonderful, clean, beautiful, and operated by a great staff!!!! We have been camping at your campground since 2006 in our motorhomes. We usually came twice a year and enjoyed each stay. This trip was a stay in a cabin. It was horrible.........I wish I had known the bathroom did not have a sink and that the bed was pushed up against the wall. If so, I would NOT have come.

Store hours seem a little brief. At 8:00 tried to explain that we were out of cabin and store was not open. Otherwise, great as always

They replaced the bed frames both bed and bunks to cheap metal that made the 5 star stay to 1 star. The people are always amazing. It's always clean. But 2 room camping cabin upgrade #17 use to have original wood frames but now cheap. The frames slides all over when laying on it. The mattress slides off while laying down. I always use #17 cabin. The new frame ruined our stay. That is why we left e

Love this KOA. Been there multiple times. However, we were very disappointed the hot tub wasn't working. We love to go into the hot tub and pool and couldn't enjoy it due to the hot tub not on and all the kids in the pool. Plus, the burning ban in effect, no campfire. Overall, we love Cherokee KOA!

We stayed in a cabin for the first time (we normally bring our camper) - but it was great. I think the only thing that should be considered with the cabins is power washing the outside of the cabins - when we first arrived there were gnats everywhere! We had to buy bug spray to get in the door - I understand they are probably from the trees, but thats my suggestion. The inside was great!
