What a beautiful campground. The bath houses are so fresh and clean. Love the spots that accommodate puppies. Sites are roomy and level.

Kim at check in was so helpful. We loved our 1st ever stay at any KOA. We stayed in the cabin by the river and fished. Everyone we encountered on the campground was so kind, hospitality was tops and so helpful. Thanks for making our weekend away so special.

We arrived late on check-in day and the cabin was very hot with no instr. to turn the fireplace off. The only air cond. was in the kitchen area with did not circulate to the bedroom. We was up at 3:30am trying to cool the cabin down. It was too hot to sleep in the bed the first night. The toilet seat was about to fall off, one person could hardly take a lukewarm shower and lady bugs.$100n too much

Well i have been coming there for 20 years now. The cabin linens were so dirty it was horrible. The no Burning camp fires made our trip not so good, we would of rescheduled if we would of known. So telling the customers this i would recommend an important factor. This over all the years was the worst dirty trip to KOA Cherokee that i have ever been on. Roaches in all 3 cabins we rented.

I was looking forward to enjoying the sauna :) the website says there is a sauna but in real life there isn't :). also, the propane fire pits were not allowed by the pool bc of the fire ban, but it's surrounded by cement, enclosed and it's the same ide as people cooking on their own portable propane grills, so that's really dumb if you really think about that. other than that, the place is nice.

We arrived late but had a reservation, and all the info was ready for us at the check-in station. We liked the covered picnic table, especially as it rained more than forecast overnight. The restroom and showers were very good.

Great grounds, beautiful area. The mattresses in the cabins probably need to be refreshed. Overall, good stay.

We stayed at Cherokee Great Smokies/KOA while going to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express train. Our campsite was very spacious. I’m sure we’ll come back again.

Mostly a nice and quiet stay. Though prices are slightly high, location is great, staff was helpful, and sites decent. The fact that many sites have sewer and water within about a foot of one another is not great - seems like a legitimate sanitation/contamination concern. We were glad to have moved to a pet patio site where there was reasonable distance between the two. Outstanding WiFi!

Our stay was awesome! Staff was very friendly and informative. just one issue with our cabin # 386 THE BED MATTRESS WAS TERRIBLE !! other than the bed issue, we had a great time

The campground is well maintained & clean. We enjoyed all the amities. The only concern is the showers are locked early evening thru mid-morning. I understand this is for security reasons however maybe add a door with a code to get into the shower area. Our family members like to shower late at night & early in the morning. I realize two showers are in the bathrooms but we had 15 people with us.

Customer service and personnel was top knotch. Deluxe cabin was cute but smelt horrible. Would recommend an upgraded cabin maybe, but there was none available for us to switch to. Enjoyed the river and the place was nice. I just don't recommend the cabin we stayed in.

Biggest plus was the 5g service for streaming..What a convenience! The Campground and store was above and beyond. Impressive valets to site.

The stay it self was nice. We come up once a year. This year was the one that we had the most problems. The cabin had issues with incomplete work such as the closet, the shower backed up every time, and there were roaches. Normally we don’t have issues when we come.

The cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathhouse was also clean at all times. Very Quiet no loud noises at night.

The campground was great, but the bathrooms were extremely dirty. They appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time and did not appear to be cleaned during our 4 day stay.

I liked the different accommodations as my group had people in a camper, a standard cabin, and a more deluxe cabin. We got to select what fit best for us. I found the bathrooms lacking as they didn’t appear to be cleaned during the few days I stayed there.

Rented a different cabin style this time. It was smaller that the one we booked last time. Child liked the bunk beds. I will not book this style cabin again. Too small, hard to move about, store items. Also needs a screen door or storm door.

Our cabin (L246) smelled heavily of cigarette smoke (we had to open the door and windows for about 2 hours to air the cabin out it was so bad) and there was hair on the comforter in the front bedroom. I did speak with someone when we checked out who said that someone would call me to let me know what could be done to compensate but I haven't heard anything as of now.

We love this campground. Every bit of it was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Jeff would stop by during his rounds to say hi and visit our Chihuahua Gus. Gus loved him. The weather was rainy and chilly a few days but not horrible. We will return the next chance we get.

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon
