There was originally some miscommunication when trying to contact by phone. I had a group of twelve and the management was still able to accommodate our group.

The campground was one of the cleanest and well kept I’ve seen. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was that the camp store was only open daily until 5 pm.

Apparently the wireless system had been damaged so communicating with other family was very hard Signage at part was very poor.

My first solo trip since husband died 20 months ago went great! Everyone so friendly and helpful. Clean and everything and more you could hope for in a campground. Definitely be back. I felt very safe and loved the showers.

While this is a very nice park, and we will return, there are some things that should be addressed. We stayed 1 month Kids are flying around on the streets and in between empty lots on scooters. I love to see kids having fun, but we were so afraid that we would hit one. Also, unsupervised kids in the pool area. Hot tub never worked correctly. Either it was hot or cold or the jets were on or not

Our stay was wonderful. The pool was perfect. The bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked. My wife spent hours cleaning the bathroom and shower. No paper towels water was left everywhere we had to use our paper towels and toilet paper

Spent a week here mid-summer. Large flat campground, great (and newer?) facilities - big camp store/office, large pool, nice shade pavilion, game room/snack bar, indoor pool under renovation, nice wooden deck overlooking the river. Scenic mountains on all sides plus a river along back edge. Convenient to Smokies NP, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Western NC. Definitely enjoyed my stay.

My grill didn't work. I had to use the one next door. There was supposed to be a dance on Saturday night and no one was there. Not sure if the table or floor were washed. Enjoyed the pool

We always enjoy coming to this KOA! It’s our 3rd time and we will definitely be back! We love the area, and we always get a paw pen. It makes the stay so much better for our pup!! The facilities were clean, sites are spacious, overall just a nice campground with lots of options.

I have a couple of concerns about my stay. First we had to buy and mop our floor in our cabin, because the floor was obviously not wet moped before our stay. Second, the golf cart we rented (03), the seats were torn and the back was screwed down with wood screws, because the back of the cart was broken. The staff was very pleasant. They took care of our needs. Just need to prepare cabins better.

Great time fishing swimming in pool very good staff very helpful and my kids loved all the extra activities cabin was clean and cool we also loved renting golf cart to get around bath house, restroom and laundry facilities were great the best vacation in a long time

During the visit I could nit easily check in do to an internet out I had to drive 10 miles into town to find cell signal and transfer money so they could do a physical card number Input. Then the internet extended network did not work properly so this limited the amount of work I could do at my cabin. The staff was great and the area beautiful

Beautiful campground! One of our favorite KOAs!! Cabins are great! The outside pool and hot tub are fantastic, watch your step getting in, the 1st step is very steep. Many activities for kids. Great place to relax. Only complaint, the housekeeping staff needs help. Bath houses are not cleaned regularly and cabins get a quick basic cleaning. Bring supplies.

Had a wonderful stay. Only issue was grass should have been cut before we arrived. Grass was cut while we were away sightseeing and then rain caused it to clump under camper.

Didn’t receive items I paid for. But refund later was easy enough. WIFI was non existent. Workers were putting on a roof next door so constant banging all day. Would have been nice to have known before hand. Cabin was very clean. AC was ice cold. Loud explosion at 6:30 woke us up from dead sleep. Never explained what it was.

Great campground, good location, rivers edge is nice. Cabin was just the right size for us, could have been cleaner upon arrival. Office was closed so we bought some supplies and spruced it up a bit. Customer service representatives are always courteous and helpful at this KOA.

Always have a great time at the Cherokee KOA. I had to leave early due to a family emergency but the staff are always friendly, prompt, and glad to help anytime you need assistance.

More than expected. Cabin was very clean and supplied with everything we needed. The porch over the babbling stream was a piece of heaven.

Camp stove closes too early(5:00). Most checking are 4:00 and once you get settled in and need something the store is closed.

The KOA park is lovely. We had a nice quiet stay. The only negative was the bath house. There was some construction going on at the bath house which was fine but the bathroom, laundry and shower areas were all very, very dirty. They all need a good cleaning. The rest was great!

I’ve stayed in many campgrounds all over the country and this by far is the nicest campground. There isn’t anything negative I could say about this KOA campground. I will definitely be back.

We stayed in Cabin 238 and was very disappointed with the following things: 1. There was mold in the bathroom (On the ceiling and upper walls) 2. The toilet seat was very loose. 3. The Toaster didn't work 4. The stove didn't work (one burner you could not get the knob to turn and the other was broke) 5. Light above bed was broke, some light bulbs missing 6. Bathhouses and cabins need a very deep cleaning. It’s gonna get run downed if it’s not kept better cleaned.

We had a great time! The cabin was wonderful. We enjoyed our time by the pool. The carnival was so fun for the kids. Great addition to our weekend! Thanks to all the friendly staff.

Nice place. Undergoing a little work when we got there, but they made sure not to work on the weekend so it wasn’t too loud. Nice location close to a bunch of different tubing systems and historical places to visit. Pool is awesome.

We had problems with our RV and could not slide our slide in. Sara Messer, General Manager, allowed us to stay a little over our checkout time until we could get the slide pushed in. This helped so much as I had anxiety about reaching our check out time. Staff was amazing and the park so so clean. Great job Cherokee KOA, they have a great leader that jumps in and helps when needed.

We had to move to another cabin because the bathhouse was to far for my elderly mother. Also no parking. Need more bathhouses and a family bathroom with a shower; families with small kids that have to bath their children need this. Once we moved cabins to one with a bathroom stay was much better. Also we had to we had to check out of first cabin at 11 and couldn't go to new cabin until 4

I honestly am very disappointed in our stay. Cabin was dirty. It was after 4 before they let us in. Plus, I think I received the wrong cabin. I had booked a cabin with full size bed, bunk beds, loft, & pull out. We had 2 full size & pull out. Cabins should be better stocked for cooking. This campground was once a beautiful exciting place...now it's starting to be run down & unkept.

Really enjoy the quiet setting. Close to town for shopping and groceries. Tons of things for kids to do. Convenience store open 9-5 if needed

This place is great our cabin was clean and neat.(except for the stink bugs) Plenty of places to fish if you want to Always someone doing something to keep the camp ground clean

Wwe stayed in a cabin. Cabin was nice, alittle small. The mattresses were less than desirable. Overall and great place to stay!
