Every year at least 2 times me and my five girls stay in cabins and have fun and have had no problem also I come with grand kids several times a year always clean helpful .first time ever having a complaint about my stay which was not the staffs fault but we got bed bug bite and was told that we would get a call after we left and didn't put everything in bags they gave me and had togo spend 2wash

Although we had to cut our trip by a day, we continue to always enjoy our trips to KOA Cherokee. Beautiful area and so much fun.

The only thing I can say is the indoor pool for the second year in a row is not clean.You go under water and stuff is floating around, not just a little bit either.Last year they said the pump was bad, this year we didn’t bring it up. Your campground was our Easter destination, now they want to go elsewhere because of the kids.Also the hot tube wasn’t working. I work for a campground so I know

This was our first time staying in a KOA and we are very expressed with the friendly staff and clean bath houses. We are already planning our next stay in Cherokee!

Love the campground and the fishing ponds and river. Staff is excellent. We did a cabin instead of our camper this year. While we enjoyed the extra space the cabin didn't meet expectations. Didn't have usable pots/pans, not enough utensils for 4 people, no can opener, missing pieces of wood in bathroom and master closet, needed a deep clean, ac smelt of mold and dog hair was everywhere.

I was in cabin 303 near the back there was a curtain missing at the bunk beds and the bathroom back there was nasty didn’t look like anyone cleaned it the hole three days we were there

We really enjoyed the campground and amenities. It was a very busy weekend. There were some noise issues. What bothered me the most was cars going way to fast, golf carts going like they were at Daytona and kids darting in front of us. We came back after dark and bikes with no lights going right in front of us along with golf carts. Scary. I’d like to come back because we love the area.

Had a great stay. My only concern was the pool area. Unsupervised kids. Small babies in hot tub. I actually called after hours when kid was bleeding on pool deck after horseplay. Staff was nice and extended our stay on Easter. New renovations look great Our cabin had minor issues. Door sticks. Screen broke. And no latch on screen door. Gaps to outside. Had spiders in cabin.

Great park as usual. We visit a couple of times a year for the beautiful scenery and fantastic fly fishing in the Raven Fork.

I understand the fire ban but no fires was a disappointment. Cabin had stink bugs, and yes it’s camping. Bathtub drained slow, gas grill did not work. AC in bedroom was loud and had a warning light on. We were not told to not use microwave and it started smoking. Fish guts on the ground from tournament. All this while prices keep increasing.

Great stay overall!! Minor issues with cottage such as screen door wouldn’t stay closed & no way to latch it shut. Bathroom door needs repaired so it shuts smoothly.

Always awesome! We’ve been here before and look forward to coming back again. Beautiful setting, very helpful, the people are amazing. From the girls in the office to the guys on the golf carts, everybody very friendly and helpful.

We love the campgrounds but the cabins are not being cleaned very well. We walked in to sticky floors in kitchen with obvious spills that weren’t cleaned, food bits sticking out in the drain, bugs and dirt on windows and blinds are disgusting. For the money we pay I expect it to be clean. The blinds were chewed up by dogs and it was a pet free cabin. Getting disappointed at the cleaning crew as

Our cabin was nice but we requested extra towels to wash with for the next day but no one brought any. We even put the used one in a plastic bag outside. Also, we purchased one of the Smores bundle and the staff never advised us that there was a fire ban in place and even sold us the wood.

Location was good, amenities seemed OK. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was completely unacceptable. We arrived at 3:30pm and found the men’s room next to our site unusable due to other guests having overflowed the toilets with toilet paper and waste everywhere. When we left the next day, the bathroom still hadn’t been touched.

Finding the assigned spot and determining what angle to come in would have been easier if like most other KOA’s had a golf cart guide the campground is nice good place to camp

Our stay was exceptional. My fiancé had never been to Cherokee. Before we left he was already planning another trip down to fish. He said this will be a yearly trip, hopefully every March and September!!

Stayed in cabin 502. Multiple issues. Refrigerator barely cooling, freezer frosted. Heater in bathroom did not work. Shower curtain was moldy. Screen door wouldn't shut. Light/fan in bedroom only had a pull for the light, so you couldn't use light without fan. The air conditioner was filthy. Sad, we are KOA Rewards members and like to stay here but the last few times have been disappointing.

Our family of 30 have been coming for years. We had a great time but was disappointed in the WiFi connection. The price we pay to stay there should be much better WiFi connection. Also there were no activities for the kids, which was disappointing as well. Staff is always super friendly but just some recommendations. We love the KOA

Stay was great and the fishing was great. Our only complaints was the showers for the pools wasn't working and the pools was a bit dingy this time around and this isn't a normal thing. We always enjoy staying in our cabin next to our friends and letting the kids run and play without worry.

We had a great stay. We found it interesting though, that we got daily text reminders that the speed limit is 5mph, yet people (employees included) were driving golf carts faster than 5 mph. We also noticed one person on an e-bike going faster than 5mph.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
