Courteous staff and very helpfull because my dog ran away across the campground, I advised the office and a kind Young man already came to help us to find my dog. Thanks again.

Loved staying in cabin 244. Perfect water view, place was clean, stocked beyond our expectations. We even caught some trout finally!!!!!! Love it atKOA Cherokee

The campground is wonderful, clean, beautiful, and operated by a great staff!!!! We have been camping at your campground since 2006 in our motorhomes. We usually came twice a year and enjoyed each stay. This trip was a stay in a cabin. It was horrible.........I wish I had known the bathroom did not have a sink and that the bed was pushed up against the wall. If so, I would NOT have come.

Your park was beautiful! We enjoyed the tree shaded sites, quiet, level paved and very specious sites. We also appreciated that since the park was busy but not full you didn’t pack all the rigs right next to each other. When possible you left empty sites between to offer more enjoyment of the beauty of the park. We also loved the close proximity to the town and the Smoky Mountains NP. Our #1 pa

Beautiful scenic park right at the base of the Smokies and a few miles from the park entrance. Spacious flat sites. We got in late and left early but hope to come back and spend some time here!

A very pretty campground. Lots of trees, sits in a valley. Bathrooms and the grounds were very clean

Store hours seem a little brief. At 8:00 tried to explain that we were out of cabin and store was not open. Otherwise, great as always

The air unit in the second bedroom wasn’t working couldn’t get anyone to answer phone to make them aware to come look at it left voicemail but it was never addressed good thing it was a cool weather weekend

bath house at rear of campground near permanent sites is not clean very often if even at all cleaned. about half dont work, no place to sit down to change clothes. I know they got time to clean them cause two women drive golf carts back and forth all day following about 8 ft apart like they are hurry to get somewhere and then race back to the washing machines, but no cleaning of bath house.

This campground is excellent. We had a situation with our grandkids and the staff stepped up and did an excellent job at getting the situation taken care of. Much thanks to the staff. We will definitely be back!!!!

They replaced the bed frames both bed and bunks to cheap metal that made the 5 star stay to 1 star. The people are always amazing. It's always clean. But 2 room camping cabin upgrade #17 use to have original wood frames but now cheap. The frames slides all over when laying on it. The mattress slides off while laying down. I always use #17 cabin. The new frame ruined our stay. That is why we left e

Overall an Ok stay. Bathroom and laundry facilities worn and in need of some upgrades. No shower curtains in most of the shower stalls making it hard to keep clothes dry. Liked the river out our door though.

Awesome location, Closing everything at 5pm was a bit disappointing. The fact that the after hours line was a recorded response with a full mailbox/message box and no way to reach anyone was extremely disappointing ! We totally made the best of our time. The Staff was fairly helpful "when available" . The back bathhouse/restrooms which happen to be the area we got placed! OMG ugh DEEP CLEAN NEEDED

Unbelievable amount of activities to do right on property. Huge selection of items from general store. Perfect for fishing. Pond on site with clear creeks running all over the area. Trout fisherman's heaven.

Love this KOA. Been there multiple times. However, we were very disappointed the hot tub wasn't working. We love to go into the hot tub and pool and couldn't enjoy it due to the hot tub not on and all the kids in the pool. Plus, the burning ban in effect, no campfire. Overall, we love Cherokee KOA!

The campground is very well maintained. Watching so many people fishing and having fun was so relaxing. I can’t say enough good about the people who work there. We had an issue and they couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a cabin for the first time (we normally bring our camper) - but it was great. I think the only thing that should be considered with the cabins is power washing the outside of the cabins - when we first arrived there were gnats everywhere! We had to buy bug spray to get in the door - I understand they are probably from the trees, but thats my suggestion. The inside was great!

False advertising for the cabin we booked and paid extra for “upgraded” amenities only to have the most run down cabin in the entire campground.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
