Have not been in over 4 years. Has greatly improved. Still has a way to go. Need to pave the roads and put fold down seats in the women's showers along with a rail because of the slipping and slope of the floor. Was a yearly trip for my mom and myself. Will try to go again.

Great stay for 5 nights. There has been lots of improvement made to this place. Bathrooms were clean and much improvement from last stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait till next stay!

Stayed in a small cabin for couple days. Enjoyed it, the only thing I wish you had was a place to wash a couple pots and pans we used to cook with. Thanks,

Very scenic, pretty park. Lots to do, especially if traveling with children. The indoor pool complex is dated and could use a remodel.

You moved us to a smaller cabin. The cabin was not adequate because it didn’t have the kitchen setup that our original booking was supposed to have. It also was not pet free. The queen bed mattress was horrible and was completely worn out and needed replacing. The shower curtain was moldy. Old rat trap was left under the kitchen counter. The gutter downspout was missing.

it was perfect! The campground is so close to so many things to do, it's quite, and beautiful. We plan on going back next year since we didn't have enough time to do all the things we wanted to do.

This time was disappointing. 1) We arrived at 3:30ish and were told, in no uncertain terms, check-in was 4:00pm. No exceptions. No explanation. Bad customer service. 2) Water main pipe burst and we had no water as of Sunday morning through check out. We were refunded 2 nights OR offered another cabin. Moving wasn't feasible. It really should be made a priority to fix the issue w/in 24 hrs.

Camp staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Campground was very well maintained. Outside the town limits, but easy to get to. I would only suggest more info on sites. I would have opted for a different site type had I known what was offerred? Regardless, I'll definitely be back.

Very nice campground. Clean restrooms and showers were very appreciated. The staff was great on accommodating some reservation changes. Great experience.Only 1 suggestion, putting some chairs in the cabins. Even folding padded chairs, that could easily be stored against or hanging on a wall, would be better than sitting on a bed

Loved staying in cabin 244. Perfect water view, place was clean, stocked beyond our expectations. We even caught some trout finally!!!!!! Love it atKOA Cherokee

The campground is wonderful, clean, beautiful, and operated by a great staff!!!! We have been camping at your campground since 2006 in our motorhomes. We usually came twice a year and enjoyed each stay. This trip was a stay in a cabin. It was horrible.........I wish I had known the bathroom did not have a sink and that the bed was pushed up against the wall. If so, I would NOT have come.

Your park was beautiful! We enjoyed the tree shaded sites, quiet, level paved and very specious sites. We also appreciated that since the park was busy but not full you didn’t pack all the rigs right next to each other. When possible you left empty sites between to offer more enjoyment of the beauty of the park. We also loved the close proximity to the town and the Smoky Mountains NP. Our #1 pa

Beautiful scenic park right at the base of the Smokies and a few miles from the park entrance. Spacious flat sites. We got in late and left early but hope to come back and spend some time here!

The air unit in the second bedroom wasn’t working couldn’t get anyone to answer phone to make them aware to come look at it left voicemail but it was never addressed good thing it was a cool weather weekend

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
