The campground itself was very nice . They cabin and the washroom were clean. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there but they had the game room open . The only not great thing was that one of our mattresses must have had bed bugs . I got a lot of bites on my arms.

Great KOA - facilities well maintained, amenities are many with a wide offering. We stayed for a week in an upgraded space with a dog pen. Great place to visit.

Stayed here off and on for the last 6 years (always are improving their campgrounds) Beautiful area and camping with all the perks � People friendly and kid/pet friendly! Love how they have fun for the kids and an awesome doggy area! Looking forward to our next stay

The campground had a nice layout. The bathrooms, laundry and showers were clean. Check in staff were friendly. Very nice location

I’ve stayed here 3 times over the years, and each time is as good as the last. The facilities are clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the landscape is second to none. I’ll keep coming back again and again.

My family and I absolutely love Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA. We have stayed here many times and plan to visit many more! The staff is friendly and informative of the local area. The campground is well maintained and cleanliness throughout. There is always something going on for the kids and adults alike. A great place to relax and enjoy the company of your family and other campers!

We arrived on Friday afternoon and we were not able to get in the cabin until 4. The staff said that we were allowed to use all the properties amenities until the cabin was ready, which was awesome! The cabin was ready at 4 and we were very impressed with how clean the cabin was, the bed and couch were both comfortable. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and looking forward to coming back soon!!!

I have been cheated two years in a row on my reward points. Last year I made reservations and did my deposit. Got there they said my card was old but a new for forty bucks save 60 bucks. Why did the reservation not cover it??? This got reservations in December paid in full. Got there said they gotten check me with rewards on it so took them off then same crape my card was not good so you owe 100

Overall it was a really good visit. Great atmosphere and great views. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 was for 2 maintenamce issues. The 30 amp circuit on my site, 197, was faulty and I had to use my 50 amp to 30 amp adapter to get power. The other problem was the auto-closing cap on the sewer was loose and fell off when I tried to attach my sewer hose. Looked like it wasn't cemented on right.

Horrible. Your lawn maint guy slung grass and debris all over my rig and site never blowing anything off your pool maint guys yelled at us HEY THE POOL IS CLOSED YOU CANT BE IN HERE even though no signage was posted, and yes he yelled that across the pool and all we did was walk in. bath houses nasty all i can say is we wont be back.

Clean bathrooms, clean cabin, super nice employees, clean showers. Well kept grounds quite camp grounds good price points for the cabins. We stayed 4 night’s enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful with lots of trees and close to all the things we wanted to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Easy in and out of the for a mountain RV park. Just a all around great experience

Campground is beautiful, staff is friendly and the park is very comfortable. The only negative comment is that the WiFi is completely unreliable. While we camp to disconnect, GPS maps, local attractions, etc is necessary. Even directly outside the office we were unable to connect for GPS directions home.

Keeps getting better. We've been coming here since around 2008 and it keeps us coming every year. Very clean and people are so friendly and helpful. We booked for October when we left yesterday.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
