We stay this koa numerous times this time not so good was told last month hot tub be ready get there be next week had 2 camping cabins and to make sure they side by side charged $22 per cabin ridiculous not sure we be back maybe new owners or manager but has gone down hill

A wad of gum was left on the shelf at top of bed and covered in ants. Also crawling on sheets. Unacceptable when paying for a deluxe cabin. We went with family and were put all the way across the campground from each other even though I was told the cabin sites would not change. The staff was not willing to help accommodate us. Also had no fire pit at one of the cabins. We were very disappointed

Super beautiful campground with mountains surrounding in every direction. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean except for having tons of spider webs, and we had several stink bug friends and ants stay with us. The bathroom house was super clean and very nice. The staff on the golf carts were very friendly but the staff that checked you in wasn't that friendly.

The staff was terrific. We had a vehicle mishap and the staff helped us out by getting supplies needed for a quick repair. The facilities are clean and the location was the best

Overall, excellent experience! Very impressed with the Deluxe, Creekside cabin. This was one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed in with all the essentials under one roof. One recommendation: Need ant traps, or exterminator. The ants were coming out of floor boards, and wall panels. This was only a slight nuisance: I had to closely watch my stuff to keep the ants off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in your loft cabin. The riverside setting was peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was very clean, well furnished and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the upper "fenced patio deck" for our dog, the lower fire pit area, and the gas grill. The only addition I'd recommend would be a gate on the deck.

Wonderful campground in a magical area. The deluxe cabins were clean and in excellent shape. We really enjoyed the patio and fire ring. If you are coming to fish, confirm any fishing restrictions before your stay. KOA did not mention the upcoming tournament to us. We were sad, but we still enjoyed our trip! Can't wait to go back.

The campground was clean, quiet and well maintained. The indoor pool area was nice the water was warm and comfortable. The bathhouse was amazing.

The campground was clean, quiet after 9pm and the indoor swimming pool was great. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We enjoyed our weekend stay.

Beautiful campground. Very comfortable and friendly location. Extremely clean. We were camped by the river and it was so peaceful hearing the water flow. My husband loved that he just had to step out from our campsite to fish. We will definitely camp here again!

The campground was very nice and well kept! It was very family-friendly and anticipate that it is even better over the summer when all the amenities are open. The indoor pool could use a face lift but it was nice to have during the colder months. The staff left a lot to be desired - not friendly at all. Overall, we had a great trip and look forward to coming back over the summer.

Everything was clean. Easy to get in and out. They got parts in to fix the hot tub and shut the entire indoor pool down to fix. I talked to the staff about how the kids had been anticipating swimming and they ran it up the ladder. Just a short while later they called and opened the pool up. The whole campground seemed to enjoy the pool being opened as well. They went above and beyond.

Our little cabin was great for one night! The beds aren't great (they are camp beds) but they do just fine for one night. Thankful it had heat and power. The screen door needed some repair (it was torn allowing bugs in if main door was open). But for the money it was a great option.

KOA Cherokee is our favorite KOA. We have been coming here for Spring break for many years. The staff here is always the best and the campground is beautiful!!

Check in was underwhelming. No smiling faces to greet us. Luckily our cabin was ready so we didn't have to stay long there. I thought our cabin was On the river as requested , instead we faced the campground. Most the amenities were closed which I was not aware of. This trip was mostly for my kids so they were bummed out too. They did love the jump pillow though.

Rented a 1 bedroom cabin for 4 nights overlooking the river . It was perfect for me and my old dog except I got one where I couldn’t park in front . Carrying my 50 pound dog back and forth was tough but I managed. Staff fixed the AC filter inflaming my allergies so the last night was great. Place was clean . Loved the kitchen and the deck overlooking the river . Planning my trip back soon.

Great place! Only problem was a couple of roaches in the cabin. Had to go through everything when we got home to make sure we didn’t bring any home

Stayed in a deluxe studio cabin. It was clean and cute and comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no plates, utensils etc. We brought burgers for the grill and thank God I brought my own spatula (just in case). Why do you supply dish soap and dish rag if there are no dishes??? Also, the mattress pad on the bed seemed too small as it kept popping off everytime my husband got up in the nig

Overall good. The cable TV reception buffers and hangs up ALOT, but the Netflix seems to work ok. Didn't try the others (Amazon prime, etc...). Ran out of propane for the grill and requested a new tank and they said they would bring it (Saturday morning). Got back from fishing around 6 pm and they had failed to bring a new tank so couldn't use the grill (afterhours help via phone doesn't work).

Had an amazing time, all of the staff was wonderful, especially Kim!!! It was my daughter's 5th birthday and she made her feel so special. The campground has everything you need right there at your fingertips! Definitely going again.

Great experience start to finish. Everyone on staff was helpful and kind. One highlight I was walking a propane tank to get it filled at the office when a maintenance worker came by on a golf cart, offered to take it to the filling tank for me and then took it back to my campsite. Way above and beyond service. Will definitely be back.

Staff were beyond amazing, super helpful, super friendly, very knowledgeable. Our fire ring was flooded with water while others around us were not, kinda frustrating. It is not disclosed that there is a large fence between your site and the river/ponds. Indoor pool did not feel heated. Bathrooms were kept super clean. Lots of wonderful free amenities.

Called for toilet plunger multiple times, never received one. Called for extra towels multiple times, never received any. Not impressed. Have stayed here multiple times before and never had this type of experience, Do better.

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
