The cabin itself was clean but very ran down air conditioner was very musty smell furniture all torn up fridge had broken missing pieces outside fire pit really just had 2 wooden benches no chairs. The activity was a joke got overcharged for the trucker hats and pool party was supposed to be at 2 at pool 2:15 nothing but instead bubble blowing on the other side games all rigged so nothing could b

Love the stay but could use some work on the cabin doors needs to be sanded down at the bottom to open easier and the screens on the screen door so the bugs don't come in and one other thing to fix the cable wire out side the cabins to keep anyone from falling over it,hope to see you soon .thanks Mr Rodger moore

This campground was full of great activities from the pool, jumping pillow, and reservable items. We had a cabin that was right by the river so hearing the water flowing was peaceful and helped me forget all my stressors. Sadly we had to have a short stay but I definitely want to come back.

We rented a camper site and a handicap cabin for my dad’s 90th birthday. Cabin 504 needs a hand held wand in the shower and a handrail installed in the shower. It was hard for dad to shower without these two things in the shower. Other than that everything was wonderful!!

This is our second time at the KOA of Cherokee. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helped us when we had a couple of hiccups. I love this place and will return as often as I can. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed !

We would have liked to receive a paper of all the upcoming activities for our stay but had to go back up to the office to get it, after half the weekend was gone.

Dogs barked a lot, grass needed cut badly Next time will not be close to the dogs My friend Judy Garrett stayed in cabin 509 and it was gross Dirty and not clean she took pictures of everything

I wasn't as thrilled this year as years past. The cabin price was $100+ more than previous years and was smaller compared to same model I've stayed in and had a few problems. The indoor pool was also closed on the rainy weekend without any previous knowledge. If all amenities aren't accessible we should get a discount, esp a pool if it's raining. Most Staff are always great, but 1 had attitude.

We were able to upgrade to a pad site which was great because of so much rain. We were there for a holiday weekend and it was a busy campground! Lots of kids! But after the weekend and some of the campers left it slowed down some. It was nice both ways! The staff was very helpful and easy to interact with. Very friendly.

I was in cabin 255, the parking situation back there is ridiculous & telling all the cabins they can park wherever causes issues with everyone back here. If yall are going to do activities with the chance of rain I recommend building a place to do your activities out of the rain. We come Memorial Day weekend & have for years but this year was pitiful and we probably won’t be back cause of it

We had a great time in Cherokee! We stayed in cabin 509 and the only things that would have improved the stay would be for the bathroom vent fan to be fixed and remove the poison ivy from the sycamore trees at the patio. There was also quite a bit of poison ivy at the fenced patio below cabin 502. Lamps would be a nice addition.

The campground is very clean and the staff is nice. I’ve stayed here multiple times without issues. I did have an issues with all of the e-bikes and e-scooters. They were going faster than the posted 5 mph speed limit and not paying attention to walkers or cars. 10$ for a bundle of firewood is ridiculous. And not being able to get a golf cart until 3pm, I don’t understand.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, some attractions were unavailable or closed during the week or for other reasons, including the kids’ pool, hot tub, and children’s train. Still, we had a good time overall.

Well to start with the gates we're not opened early for fishing. People had to go all the way to the end to get in some people are not able to walk that far.And I think the price is way too much.

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground, and we absolutely loved it. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We rented a cabin with upgraded amenities, which was basically a glorified tent, and it was perfect. We will definitely visit this campground again!

I really enjoyed having the heated pool that stayed open despite the weather. It was game changer not having to keep the kids couped up in the cabin. Definitely one of the best KOA stays

We loved our paw pen site. We also loved the location with ez access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains National park. The fishing was great and the facility had great amenities such as a wonderful swimming pool and a beautiful trail to the river.

We had a great time at this KOA. Everyone was so nice. Our cabin was so cute and clean. The grounds were really clean and nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The people working in the store and the cafe were so sweet. We will definitely be back soon.

One of the best camping places we have been to and we have been to a lot. Spacing campsites, clean facilities, very friendly staff, great gift/supplies store, indoor/outdoor pools, fishing, hiking and close to restaurants and sights to see! We will be back in the fall.

Everything was great. My only complaint was the porch swing was old & broken. When you have kids that’s not good. It’s not safe and they want to swing.

At check-in, we asked to upgrade to a cabin with A/C, but were told they were 100% booked to capacity (on a Thurs night). But when we woke up the next morning, there were unoccupied cabins with A/C all around us. Our cabin also didn’t have a porch swing, like most do. This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean.
