First time at Cherokee KOA, and first KOA experience for my husband. We obviously loved the location, the layout, and amenities offered. Highly recommend, and came recommended from friends. The only thing I wish was a little better were the bathrooms. We checked in on a Friday and I was impressed, but 3-4 days in I was like man these need to be a little better attended. Nothing too bad!

Due to rain the haunted house was canceled but when the rain stopped they didn't try to reschedule or give a discount.

We arrived early. The cabin we were getting was open and nobody had been in it. Looked all clean to us. They REFUSED to even discuss letting us check in early. When we did get in (after "cleaning")we found that there were 20+ stinkbugs inside. Dust caked on the bunkbeds. It smelled horrible. It was not a pleasant experience.

Disappointing. Stayed in cabin with no bathroom which we have done multiple times. Bathrooms were beautiful but smelled like porta potties. I have pictures of the nasty trash cans ( blood/fecal) and more. Hole in our cabin floor fixed by cramming a plastic bag in it.

Great place, but some things need to be fixed. We were there for four days, and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned that entire time. Trash overflowing, leaves and flies everywhere, out of soap, etc. Showers are also very inconvenient. One tiny little bench, not big enough to sit on, nowhere to put anything. The game room was a disappointment. A few old arcade games, and everything requires coins. Why

We had an amazing time staying at the campground. There were a few hiccups, main breaker tripped out a few times but was fixed quickly. The cabin was nice but alittle cramped for our liking. Mattresses could really use an upgrade (reason for a 4 star rating). All and all it was a great trip and nice place to stay.

Found bed bugs in our cabin. Your solution was to refund my money and tell us to leave so we wouldn't contaminate another cabin.

Staff very helpful park very clean. This park was amazingly decorated for the holiday, and they kept us up-to-date on the activities.

I lived the fact the pool was closed and you guys decided to leave the outdoor amenities open! Rain put a damper on a few things but no fault on the KOA. Staff was friendly as always and we had a great time!

Several maintenance issues, shower out of service, hot tub jets out of service,i.door pool and spas out of service for refurbishment.

Ponds need to at Blue Gill for kids to catch while fishing… Trout is a tough catch… more kid friendly fishing would be a great addition to the ponds

The bathrooms and cabins were not cleaned as they should be. My family rented 3 sleeper cabins and paid close to $100 a night and there were cobwebs and stink bugs everywhere! The cabins had not been checked before check in. This is a great campground and we love staying here but your cleaning staff is ruining it for you. I suggest someone go behind them and check their work or get a new crew…

Beautiful campground. Very relaxing. My late husband and I had a fifth wheel and camped here. When I lost him 10 years ago, I still come to this campground and stay in n a cabin with our grandson. I’m now have great past memories and still making new memories. We always feel safe here.

Overall good but bathrooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. I would expect the stalls to at least be swept daily and clearly they were not because the same bug on the floor for two days in the same stall along with bits of toilet paperon the floor.

What a wonderful campground. We loved it and will be back. If I had to pick one thing that was a negative, 2 days before we left a couple arrived who had at least 6 dogs with them that barked non-stop when they were outside. Behind us was a man with 4 dogs. I watched one of his dogs on a long chain went into the street to go after a woman and her leashed dog as they walked past. Should limit to 2.

The sites near the rear bath house were cramped when the pull-throughs and back-in sites are both occupied. We shoukd have anticipated this but were a bit surprised when the sites began filling in. The neighbor's were wonderful people and that mad this palatable. We found the location of the Campground ro be wonderful. We will be back! 1 thing was those in Golf Carts and on ebikes going +19 MPH.

We enjoyed the clean, peaceful tent site, and all the ammenities. We really appreciated keeping the pool open so the kids could swim. Staff was friendly and neighbors were nice! Am definitely coming back!

We loved Cherokee KOA. The Halloween decorations were great and it was gratifying to see so many children enjoying with their families.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Out of the hustle and bustle so we can relax from the weekly grind. Very clean and always decorated so nice for holidays. Employees are very friendly and helpful. We come here almost every fall and never leave disappointed. Fresh trout for dinner is always a good time too!

No such thing as quite hours during our stay. Some kind of family gathering in the area we were in and they were loud even past midnight and beyond. We were in site 177, right on the main road to the campground. Lots of traffic

Had a great time stayed in cabin 12 very clean and nice. The dead bolt would stick when using the key but other than that my Grandson and I loved it. Caught a lot of trout at the ponds just about limited every day for 3 days

Stayed in a deluxe cabin near the river. Cabin not clean, floors not mopped, dead bugs in the kitchen and in the window seals. Sheet set for the twin beds without a fitted sheet or pillow cases. Fan with large layer of dust on the blades. Outside the cabin missing siding. Really not well maintained for the price we pay per night. Cabins need a deep clean and better between occupant cleaning.

The last two years have been extremely disappointing. The campground is not kept up. trash is not picked up on the schedule they give you, bathhouses were just plain nasty. The same trash was in the one I used fromSunday until we left Wednesday lunchtime. There was stuff all over the floors which may have been just mud, but might have been something else. I have pictures.

The communication this year was very lousy. I called several days in a row, left multiple messages, finally received a call back when I was already checked into my cabin. We wanted to be near family but staff would not move us even though there were empty cabins near both parties. The bathhouse near us was not very clean. Possibly finding another campground for our annual trip.

We stayed for 5 nights in cabin 242. It’s our favorite. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I think her name was Sue? Up in the office. She said she was part time but she was there all weekend, she was AMAZING. �ϸ not bad thing I have to say is the full sized bed mattress was awful. It’s like we were sleeping on the plywood. Definitely needs an upgrade.

Really enjoy the quiet setting. Close to town for shopping and groceries. Tons of things for kids to do. Convenience store open 9-5 if needed

This place is great our cabin was clean and neat.(except for the stink bugs) Plenty of places to fish if you want to Always someone doing something to keep the camp ground clean

Wwe stayed in a cabin. Cabin was nice, alittle small. The mattresses were less than desirable. Overall and great place to stay!
