First time staying there and at a KOA period. Sites and amenities are very nice. My kids lived the pool, and playground area as well as jump pad and best of the “train” ride through the park. Will definitely be back

We have been coming here for years..this is the worst experience ive ever had here...wrong key from the get go, then no power cords for the TV or lights behind the bed, one hot tub was loaded with bugs so bad no one could get in and then the other did not work all weekend, I mentioned to the front counter, and there like ok thanks...horrible weekend....not worth my while....

Stayed for Thunder in the Smokies event in Maggie Valley. Was our 3rd time staying there, and as last times was very pleasant. Only issue i saw was there were 2 Shower stall Out of Order. 1 of which was down all the times we stayed at this Campground. Maintenance should stay more on top of this issue. We didn't need the shower,but know others do.

Overall great stay. My only complaint is it’s busy and loud. Especially with the motorcycles. Nice big site we stayed in. Friendly staff.

Second time staying here - stellar facilities and service both times, two years apart. The park is large with level sites and some of our party had the pet gate sites. Pool and hot tub area were amazing after a long day of riding in the mountains. The staff went above and beyond with hospitality when we had an unexpected family issue at the end of our stay. Can't say thank you enough!

Fantastic with fabulous amenities and spacious sites, well maintained. Weekend activities are abundant and it’s a safe park to enjoy with family. My only criticism would be the full time employee sites which we faced during our stay. They are very unkempt and unsightly. Otherwise, this park would certainly get 5 stars from us. Regardless, we will be frequent guests in the future. Well done

We book every year with a lot of our friends. The camp ground is always well taken care of and clean. The only things I wish there were certain times for adults only to enjoy the pools and hot tubs. I also wish the Halloween decorations would be put out earlier like they were a few years ago.

Our favorite mountain KOA campground. Even though they have had damage from the hurricane, they have recovered well. The staff in the campground were not as friendly as we have seen in the past. Didn’t seem to want to accommodate campers or go out of their way. Just doing their job and nothing more. Not what we are used to there. Seemed to be local staff vs seasonal staff that are campers also.

Kind check in staff, very nice patio, firepit, amenities, great water pressure. We were sad they forgot to message when the food truck had arrived and then we couldn't reach anyone at the desk to check. They were almost out of food. Chose this spot because of the great fishing opportunities, but it was so popular, there were tons of people in the water - fisherman, people tubing and kids playing.

Enjoyed our stay overall and facilities are.nice.. Raven's Fork cabins did not have water at the time which is why we paid extra due to Pond issues which are understandable. Also cabins need some thorough cleaning with cobwebs and very dusty in some places. However overall experience was good

I hate to be that person; but several things that we saw were not only disgusting but very unsanitary. And it's not all about what we pay to stay...it's about how you should want your place to be known for. Also the bathrooms should be kept up ALOT BETTER. I know it's camping but nasty. waterlide...I made my daughter take a immediate shower. It had mold and dirt; it was very nasty and unsan

We have been visiting this KOA for the last four years, and unfortunately the same issues remain unaddressed. I am giving 3 stars mainly due to cleanliness concerns. The cabins are not properly cleaned before arrival, and the showers and restrooms consistently require more frequent maintenance and a deeper, more thorough cleaning. It is disappointing to see no improvement despite multiple visits

our first site was at the end of a row and at a weird angle. It was along an almost drained trout pond. It had clouds of swarming gnats everywhere. We asked to be moved and were given a short list of available spots, and based upon how level they looked, and how much grass (for our dogs), we picked one. Much better, but also an additional $76 for our 5 night stay. Overall a nice park.

Must be under new management. Someone answers the phone and the service reminds me of some of the amenities that were offered 30 years ago. Great campground.

Overall, the place is great and great for families. For the price we paid for a cabin, I would have expected it to be a little cleaner than it was. There were bugs all over the bed and the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. There was also black mold around the shower. I think we would come back for the kids and just camp next time.

Stayed many times in the past28 years. But it's been 15 years since we last stayed here. Disappointed that not really not much food is available anymore. Office closed to early. Indoor pool showers broken & area needed more cleaning. Cabin sofa needs replacement. Ice cube trays needed for frig. But we still had a great time & will stay again.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
