This was a great stay. I did a cabin put with no bathroom shower. The shower house and bathrooms were clean at the facility. They had plenty of bathrooms for all of the camping spots. When there was an issue they took care of it promptly. I felt very safe traveling alone staying at the campground. They had great amenities with one outdoor pool one indoor pool plenty of seating around the pools.

Beautiful, quiet and clean. Originally planned to stay 4 night but instead extended another nite. Staff at park friendly, professional and welcoming. We will return to this park.

I absolutely love the mountains and this KOA is a wonderful place to stay. Our cabin was directly beside the river that runs the length of the camp ground. So much to do and a great spot to fish for trout and never leave to camp ground. Plenty of other things to do and you're a super short drive from downtown Cherokee. I highly recommend you staying at the Cherokee KOA.

We had a great stay. We strayed 2 nights and rarely left campground because our 3 and 5 yr old grandkids didn’t want to leave. Splash pad and pools were great . How about those Halloween decorations!!!

Well maintained campground and cabin. Could have fixed the hot tub as the jets weren’t working, but still an overall pleasant stay!

Well, I like the improvement, but they put the stove top upside down and I about burnt my breast when I was born in water for the shrimp because they put the handles all the way in the back of the stove top very dangerous. They need to switch it back around and then I Bedroom fan did not work hot

Great fishing on tribal rivers with license. Cabin on river awesome. Cherokee Indian tribal fish stocking program twice a week. Mountain air, full moon shining off Raven River, camp fire, frying trout you caught equals paradise. Cool unbeatable fresh mountain air. Planning specific river cabin next visit shortly. Thank you for the week long reminder of how we should live. Great KOA employees.

This is a great campground. People are so friendly and accommodating. Our site this time was too wet and muddy from the rain. I like to pick my site in advance so I made a list of all dry sites and will pick one of them next time. We stay here 3-4 times per year. I recommend this campground to everyone I know that camps.

Many of the staff seemed irritated to have to assist with anything. Only 2 staff members were friendly. Much of the equipment and amenities were very run down. This koa is poorly managed and poorly maintained. Several items in our cabin were broken or nonfunctional. Help was often needed and nobody was around. Bean bags wet and broken. Outdoor fireplaces unusable. Broken fans cabin 237. Poor.

Stayed in a cabin on the river this was our 4th year and am looking forward to next year! The activities were awesome left with ceramics, tie dye shirts, color bags and gems/ arrow heads. Great memories every year!

Have rented the two bedroom deluxe cabin the last two summers and rented a lot this summer a++++++. Love staying on river in cherrokee. Already looking to start putting next summers trip together. Thanks koa

Only complaints about our stay is the lack of water pressure and lack of lighting throughout the campground. When having to walk dogs towards dusk, its very dark particularly around the dog park. Otherwise, beautiful campground with loads of amenities for the whole family.

The campgrounds are the Best I have seen . We will be back for another visit. A special note the customer service was excellent. We will be doing our family get together at this location . You know it’s an Awesome place to bring us from Florida another sister from Iowa and our Tennessee sister to this location every year . Thank you for making our memories even better .

Tons of things to do for the entire family. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Only negative I could even possibly come up with is the bed mattresses were thin making sleeping a bit uncomfortable due to arthritis and such, but still got enough sleep to accomplish a great weekend full of adventure. Thank you. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cherokee. They helped with a situation where we needed several cabins close together and that helped us so much. They had great activities like ceramics paintings, tie dyed shirts and free hot dog lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Stay was great. A few things needed repair and I let the office know when I checked out. Back porch had a lot of spider webs which I swept down and back porch furniture was dirty which I wiped down. Inside cabin was fine.

Very enjoyable we love the KOA and the staff is always wonderful, we normally bring our own towels as I am allergic to most detergents. Only thing I wanted to bring to your attention is the toilet seat in 506 needs fixed I tightened it several times and there was no remote for the A/C but no complaints at all we had a great stay and will be back.

Great activities for the kids. Lots to do. Love the pools. Only two negatives - too many electric bikes and scooters in the campground not adhering to the speed limit. There were several close calls. There should be more rules to keep people safe especially when there are little kids. Also please don't let the grass grow so tall & cut it the day before without using a bagger to pick up cut grass

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
