We loved our time there. The website and printed materials say the outdoor pool is open year round, and it was closed. The indoor pool and hot tub were available, but the jets do not work in the hottub. That would be wonderful to have functional for next time if the outdoor pool is only open seasonally! Love it there though, and will absolutely be back!

Very relaxing the staff that work. There are wonderful people. Great coffee in the office area along with other gifts and other stuff to buy. A lot of stuff to do around there in Cherokee. Perfect location quiet. I loved it

This KOA had great amenities, but was lacking in bathroom cleanliness. The restrooms had the same hair in the sink and garbage in stalls/bathrooms for the 3 days we were there. Garbage pickup at the sites was very convenient.

We come every year during end of September and look forward to it so much! We only wish that the pool was open this time for our boys.

We loved the cabin. Especially the deck on the river. It was very relaxing. Also liked the proximity to the NP.

Tent place was good, pavement closeby for a good stand of my motorcycle. As Journey's typical the road traffic noises closeby. No food services, staff closed at 5 pm. The huge area was nearly empty. One shower, in my close restroom, the other in repair.

We paid for a riverside cabin but there were cabins between us and the river. The floors could have been moped. We come there every year and will return annually. The staff were friendly and accommodating

Been coming to cherokee KOA for years. Love how they had everything decorated and have things for campers to do. Wished they'd bring back the river floats. Cabins are really dusty with alot of webs. The attendants are very helpful and very nice. The coffee machine was down. We need a common area that is accessible 24/7 that has a microwave to use. The store closes at 5.

Nice campground with lots of things for kids to do! We did have problems with our electrical kid falling off. Let them know but didn’t get fixed. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer

Everything was great except for the girl behind the checkin desk. On Tues. the 16th I went in to ask question about the campground and she wouldn't give me straight answers, wouldn't look up at me just continued doing whatever she was doing, and was rather rude. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Left without answers. Coffee machine was down. You really should have coffee available for guests to buy

We've stayed at KOA Cherokee a couple of times and we're very pleased with the cabin and grounds. The people are very friendly and helpful and the grounds are very neat and well maintained. I highly recommend KOA in Cherokee.

Very well maintained KOA in a beautiful location. This is one of the best commercial campgrounds we have stayed in. We definitely look forward to returning soon.

We come every year with a large group of people and dogs. The Kamp K9 area is nice and shady. They recently replaced the fence to make it more secure. Everyone who works at the campground is very nice and friendly. The cabins are always clean and well stocked. We already have our reservations for next year.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
