The cabins are all very beautiful, nestled in the KOA campground next to a river, if you have any problems, you can go to the front desk and they address it immediately

Tried tenting first night got soaked at 38 degrees frozen. The staff and manager went above and beyond to get me into a cabin on the river, yes the prime cabin, went onto to catch 7 beautiful rainbow trout and fell comfortably asleep dry next to river. Again thank you for your superior service. John.

Our pond front site was a construction site being dredged, a detail that was not shared with us before our stay. Only one shower worked in the men’s room near our site. We enjoyed the hot tub two evenings, however the jets did not work, neither did the required showers before entering the pools. We left four days early.

Streaming did not work on our older tvs. Need cable back. Loud uncontrolled barking dogs. Nice wide spaces and very clean.

We love the Cherokee KOA. We have been coming here since our kids were young. They are now 48 and 45, and the 45 year old still comes with us. We started out in a tent and now stay in a deluxe cabin, but being here is a tradition we hope to continue for many years to come.

We had a great stay at the Cherokee KOA! The staff was amazing — friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive to any requests we had. The campground was well-kept and made for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Highly recommend!

When we got there we found out quickly that our site had been given away so we took a lesser site but was made up for by a discount. We did enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at Cherokee KOA. They go above and beyond for the kids, and families. Everything was well maintained. Friendly staff. We’re looking forward to visiting again! Thanks to all for the work and effort that is put into this campground.

Great stay. Only complaint is the bathhouse in the back of campground was very dirty when I went to it. I had to go to the other one. Very inconvenient.

We stayed in a cabin with elec and beds. It was lovely. We had wood and ice delivered which was great. They also picked up trash daily. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The Halloween theme was wonderful with decorations everywhere. My only complaint is the bathrooms were dirty and gross. They didn't clean them daily. They should be checked dailyn if not twice a day.

We love coming to this campground. This time the water pressure was so low that it was difficult to wash dishes or even shower. My husband even went to the shower house and it was the same there. Also my daughter got in trouble for riding her electric scooter too fast. But the employees on golf carts were riding faster than her and other kids on regular bikes.

Overall the park was nice. The bathhouse near us only had 1 women's shower that was in working order. The other one had no light and the door wouldn't lock. The men's also had only 1 working shower.

Halloween decorations are great! Miss having cable hook up. The Boo Bash was fun. Just not sure if the judging of costumes was completely fair.

Great place for kids to ride bikes the indoor pool and hot tub is very nice!! Friendly and helpful staff and it's a clean and peaceful campground!! My favorite place to stay!!

Loved my cabin over the river. This is my 3rd visit since June . It’s my getaway place. Wish I lived closer . There’s so much to do in the campground I just relax and stay there most the time . They went all out for Halloween month . Families and kids seemed to have a blast.

3 nights of the best weather, the cabin was perfect and beds comfortable! The perfect place for the grands to spend their fall break!!!! Thank you KOA for an amazing stay!!!

The campground needs to work more on the maintenance of the cabins. it was missing lights; electrical plugs didn't work on porch. bath sink was stopped up. grill was full of old grease and caused a flame up when cooking on it.

We stayed in a 2 bd/1 bth cabin on the river. The deck was comfortable and overlooked the river. The inside of the cabin needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance. There was black “stuff” on the grout around the bathtub and the shelves were peeling. The sink faucet was dirty underneath. The floors need deep cleaning. The mattresses were very comfortable. I hope these issues will be addres

disappointed in parent supervision over their kids. One 3 year old and his low to the ground electric jeep was out after dark using the campground as a grandprix including going thru campsites. Also 11-12 years joy driving friends on golf carts on a circuit. Also, My truck was stopped and kids ran into us. Please mark your streets, cant tell from drive thru in a dark crowded weekend

This is awesome place to take the family no matter the ages. So close to the local town for any shopping you might need. Loved the streams that are right outside your door. Falls less then a mile from the site. Will definitely be coming back!!! We stayed in a cabin with bathroom, everything you need is in this unit. Being a single mother, this option made a cost efficient vacation!!!

Great KOA in Cherokee, NC ! 5 stars all around ! Our site was roomy and level with plenty of shade. Laundry room and showers/bathrooms were convenient and clean. Campground was full of amenities and very conveniently located to many shops, restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance… We recommend this KOA : )

Always a great campground. Only complaint is the store needs to stay open later. Too far into town if you forgot something it use to be open late every night when this family owned it years ago and it was nice if you needed something. Please change your hours. Also it’s hard to make reservations no one ever answers the phone or calls you back. You have to do it online and I don’t like that

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
