Camp house and pool are wonderful. But that’s the only good thing I can say. Sites are way too close. The site next to us meter box was literally only 5ft from our door! Our fire ring was at the back of their camper! Absolutely NO room for us to enjoy being outside our camper. Barking dogs all day and night! Sites were very trashy!

We love the area and location. We’re a bit disappointed this time for a few reasons. The concrete pad was slanting downhill badly and our front tires were off the ground. The concrete really needed a power wash. The grass was high and over our ankles. The camper next to us had 3 cars parked and one was on our patio side. They played games and music past 10pm. Hope it gets some attention

Our 6th year coming from Florida. This year, we needed 2 cabins and the staff was great at coordinating to make sure we were as close as possible. We’ll be back next year!

You need better signs to find your campground. Most KOA’s have signs out on the main roads and in towns that are clearly visible. Your 8x10 in town is so small you can barely see it. We did not appreciate the lawnmower people cutting the wet grass and having it all over our camper and truck. There were plenty of open spots where there was no campers parked??

My day was fantastic. The staff and everybody that worked with their fabulous people. I enjoy the scenery. I was misled a little about the access to the river for fly fishing, but that’s OK. I really had a great time and the trout are all so tasty.

The staff was great . Sara(Mgr) was amazing. However the cabins could use a deep cleaning . The ceiling fans were absolutely filthy, the AC units too. I cut the AC on in the bedroom and black nasty chunks of dust blew all over the bed every single time . The bottom right drawer in the frig was broken . The lights above the bed were rip out of the wall with electrical wires exposed.

I stayed in cabin 249. The cabin was ok but the grass was so long my 14 month old son could not play in the grass. The grass on most of the campground needed to be cut. The store closed at 6pm even when they told us they would be open until 8pm. I believe the bathrooms were only cleaned 1 time the whole time I was there ( 5 days ) The bathrooms should be cleaned 2 times a day.

We have been coming to this KOA since 2002 and the last 2 years have been really bad. We have had ants in 2 cabins, bedbugs twice, we found wrappers under our bed (cabin 253). The cabins are not being cleaned properly, the grounds are not being taken care of. Bathrooms not cleaned. It has been so bad over the last 2 years that we found another camp ground that we will be staying at from now on

My daughter stayed in cabin 250 and ended up with bed bugs in her cabin. We spent 5 hours putting clothes in the drier and packing her to leave. This is the second year in a row that cabin 250 had bed bugs and we read on face book that this cabin has had multiple times where guests found bed bugs. We also found out that a lot of other cabins have bed bugs. Cabin 250 should be set on fire.

Our stay was great. Our grandkids saw kids that they had met last summer. So much fun for them. There were some things that the staff had to come into our cabin to repair but they are quick and efficient. The only thing that was not correct on our reservation was that someone forgot to read the "special instructions" because we requested no linens in our cabin because of sensitivities to scents.

We had a great time! We have been coming here for more than 30 years. Now my children bring their Children and grandkids! This year I had my Children, grand children and great grand children. It was great to watch the fun each generation. Has!

wonderful staff willing to help with whatever campers need. I had secured a site I thought it would be perfect for us, but at our arrival we found out it was good, but we looked at other sites we thought we would enjoyed more. We expressed our desire to get changed. if it was possible, and right away the person who was escorting us called the office and we got offered different options and moved.

We had a fantastic stay. The campgrounds were personally the the best campgrounds we've ever stayed in. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept, there was so much to do, we loved our stay.

Our stay at Cherokee was great, the staff were very professional and friendly. The campground was great, my friends enjoyed the campground to the max been there first camping experience. Sorry to say this but the only complaint I have is the bathroom they need a little bit more attention on the cleanliness and sometimes they run out of toilet paper that is my only complaint. Over I like the koa.

We had a great time. Kids loved the splash pad area. Clean , well maintained area. Showers and restrooms good shape also, clean. Store is very convenient for small forgotten items. All around had a fun, restful, weekend family camping trip. Thank you �.

This was the first time staying at KOA in Cherokee. We loved it and plan to return. However, we did have a few issues. We did not have water that was accessible without having to go into someone else's camp. Parking was also very limited. other people were parking their cars over ours, making it difficult to come and go.

Disappointed there was so much stinky pot smoke and the camper next to us had a big dog that wouldn't stop barking, what was worse is that the owners didn't even try to stop the barking.

Our biggest complaint was how gross the bathrooms were. One of our days we are completely positive none in our area were cleaned bc every clogged toilet was clogged until late at night and every bit of tissue and trash was the same. We understand the ground was full but when you have no choice but to use shared bathrooms and showers, it’d be nice if they were cleaned daily.

The stay was great. Only issue was no AC and fridge but I take the blame for not being more thorough on which choice I made. That being said it was not an issue.

The stay exceeded our expectations. Clean and the staff was great. Only complaint is the speeding kids on electric scooters and bikes. Seen two almost accident one with car another with golf cart. The posted speed limit should be for all to obey. I will return on my next Cherokee trip.

The campground was fun, my family stayed in their RV & in a great spot so we all enjoyed that. I stayed in camping cabin (300) Very disappointing, so HOT, you could only be in there after 9/10pm & that was with 3 fans. Should put little wall units in every cabin. Dirty windows with completely torn screens, tiny ants all over. Def worried after hearing previous bedbug issues.Check, spray & CLEAN!!

It was great staying at the cherokee koa, we liked all the amenities. Only complained we had was the cleanliness of thr bathrooms, they sure could used cleaning more then once a day

The property is wonderful. Came here many times as my kids where growing up. They must be short staffed, indoor pool closed all week, store closed at 5 or 6, dlxe cabin was great but housekeeping/seasonal maintenance lacked; bdrm ceiling fan blades had an inch of dust caked, dust/cobwebs on bathroom walls were from previous years, not recent. Curtain missing on door. Riverbank grass was 2 ft tall.

Really enjoy the quiet setting. Close to town for shopping and groceries. Tons of things for kids to do. Convenience store open 9-5 if needed

This place is great our cabin was clean and neat.(except for the stink bugs) Plenty of places to fish if you want to Always someone doing something to keep the camp ground clean
