This was our second time staying at the Cherokee KOA. The campground is always very clean, friendly staff, lots of amenities and they do it up good for Halloween! Lots of fun!

We loved all the fun activities for the kids. Staff was very nice! The only issue was the cabin we had looked nothing like the picture. Also didn’t have heat, there’s usually heat in the cabins. Other than that we had a great experience.

On arrival, the office tried to overcharge on a previously scheduled reservation. Our drive through site (#163) entry had the first 10 feet concrete pad broken up with jagged chunks of concrete sticking up 4-6". We instead backed up into the site. The bathrooms were unkept and smelled of urine and did not improve over the several days we were there. Very poor KOA.

Great campground! Loved my pet enclosed patio! Staff were pleasant and helpful in recommending areas of interest. Clean and well maintained. Great indoor pool! Highly recommend!

Stay was great. However, Cabin K511 fireplace fan is worn out and whistles and makes it hard to hear the TV. Fan NEEDS REPLACED. The heater in the Bathroom did not work. NEEDS REPAIRED! We enjoyed our stay even with the discomforts. Still give it 5 Star and we will be back. Love the place.

I have stayed in this park many times and I was a bit disappointed this time. I can understand it was during the week so things are slow, but the cabin I stayed in was a little more rundown than in the past. A screen was busted and the windows by the bed were dirty with dog nose prints. The restroom did not get cleaned for 3 days. The only plus is that the campground was not busy.

I love this Koa in Cherokee! We have been coming here about 20yrs and its the best . We really like how its getting better and better every year or all the upgrades. Kids have their best time here and has grown up her.

Our group stayed for 20 days in campers. During our stay we had 3 cabins rented for the first week. The second week we had more family that rented 3 cabins for a week. It is getting harder for the 3 campers to get 3 sites together for 20 days. Been doing this for years. The workers were amazing and one guy in particular was outstanding. His name is Tony! Tony is a great guy & is always smiling!

We loved all the Halloween festivities going on. Cabin was in a good location, but NOT clean. Shower was dirty and had a razor from previous guest left behind. Brown mold/grime behind sink faucets, bathroom door didn't shut all the way. Loft sandy/dirty floors, dishes left filthy and pull out sofa filled with crumbs. Not a fan of having to brush teeth in kitchen sink.

Maintenance Staff was quick to address some issues in my cabin and the front desk staff although busy was very personable with everyone that was waiting to check in!

We had a great stay. Was disappointed that there was no cable for rainy weather entertainment and it was more expensive! Also I tried to call several times to prepay the reservation and could not get through.

Although our site was close to the office, the Wi-Fi was useless. We hardly ever had a signal. The latches on the sewer connection were broken and I had to weight down my hose to keep it from leaking.

We always love everything about our stay. The staff are always friendly, the campground is clean and kept up. Plenty of activities for all ages. It is also peaceful at the same time. We arrived late after hours and Brandon saw us and was so kind to come guide us to our site. Excellent customer service!

Our stay was fantastic. Cabin was nice and clean and the park was decorated wonderful for Halloween. The activities you all had planned was really the highlight of our trip. I enjoyed all the staff on golf carts throughout the park watching the kids and answering questions. The only thing from a five rating was the bathhouses, the men’s was AWFUL day and night. Maybe more frequent cleanings?

The cabin we were assigned, 223, was described as "Deluxe Cabin, Full Bath, Full Kitchen" when in fact the cabin was equipped with a mini fridge and no oven. The bathroom was barely functional for a 6'3", 290 lb. male as i had to make gymnastic moves when sitting on the toilet or taking a shower. Not sure I've seen a toilet seat that small before. Bathroom faucet handle was ready to come off also.

The area was very clean and all the employees were very friendly and helpful. I could not believe how big this KOA campground is, it is the biggest one that I have ever stayed at. It is also very kid and pet friendly.

The showers and toilets were clean. The water pressure was excellent, and the hot water flowed almost immediately. We enjoyed our site.

This was the PERFECT Smoky Mtn getaway! Being on the south side of the park meant needing to drive back thru for most things, but it was so worth it to be in a quiet town and a fun campground. The amenities were awesome and our cabin was great. The only (very minor) bummer was the hours for the office. 9-5 meant we never made it up there since we got out early and got in after that every day we were there.

This is my favorite camping spot when we go to Cherokee and the Smokey mountain area! It's a little further north from the main town part of Cherokee but it's nice and peaceful! Theres a river around the campground and it's nice to go and explore! The rv spots are nice and spacious with most having a small lawn area with room for chairs and such! There's also a few extra things like a small playground, bounce pillow, and a pool! Unfortunately last time when I went the pool was down for maintenance but it was definitely cold enough to not want to swim anyway! The koa is in nice distance of the Smokey mountains and a few other waterfalls!

Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Changed a lot but for the better and love it. Definitely will be coming back and bring friends to enjoy the experience. **make sure the cabin cleaners make sure everything is clean. Animal hair all in the pulpit couch sheets, windows dirty** cabin 228**
