The campground was wonderful. A lot of amenities and in a great location. The campsite we were assigned. However was in a low-lying area and our patio was right next to the sewer pipe of the next camper. It rained the first day we were there. And there was three inches of water on our site. Poor drainage. I would come back but request a different site

My kids and I really enjoyed our first stay at KOA. Very clean facilities and friendly helpful staff. Very kid friendly!

The stay is great. The price is getting out of hand. Why will no one answer the phone in the office. It looks as if there is plenty of help but I can never get to talk to a live person to make a reservation or change

A big overrated KOA. We had a lot with a dog fence, grass was tall hadn't been cut in weeks. Tons of dog poop left there. Container for dog poop wasn't emptied. Located along a busy road, lots of traffic noise. Speed limits not enforced. Workers speeding around in gulf carts. Rude staff. No drainage for fire pit, full of water and couldn't use. Dirty pool. Expensive for what you get.

Need to provide cross walks to access bathrooms. Lots of rain during stay made it difficult to cross grassy / muddy areas.

Our cabin was extremely clean, check-in was easy, and reserving for next year as a large group was not difficult. We love this KOA.

Our campsite (#190) would have been perfect except for the fact that when it rained, and it rained a lot over our stay(not campground fault at all), the patio area of our site was completely under water and did not drain off.

Everything canceled due to rain but not re started when it wasn’t raining. Paid $150 for a golf cart we couldn’t drive in the evening because the lights on it didn’t work. Waste of money and nothing to do there

We have been several times before and really enjoyed it and liked the campground, but something has changed. The grass had not been cut and was super thick and was not at all during our stay.. The fire ring on the site behind us (I verified this from prior pictures I had taken) had been moved and was literally right at the driver's area of our motorhome. Didn't seem well-kept like before.

The young women with the long dark hair in your office is amazing. Our site flooded during a torrential downpour, she got us moved to a better spot asap no questions asked- we needed to extend our stay she took care of it. I was so impressed with the KOA staff. Thanks for a great stay

We had truck trouble and we needed two more days move or camper. We was able to move to another site until we could resolve our problem.

We were very disappointed that the office closed every day at 5 or 6 PM. On hot summer days who does not love ice cream and there was none to be found. All in all our trip was fine. Also, the staff was very friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay, and are already planning to return. The staff was amazing and helpful. My girls loved the pool& hot tub. I loved how close we were to everything (we stayed in a tent) so if we needed something from our site while we were at the pool it was easy to get back.

We were traveling with our teenage granddaughter and thought a two bedroom “deluxe” cabin would be nice. We were pretty disappointed. The bedroom was a closet with bunk beds and the cabin was so damp everything inside was damp and smelly. I feel for $200 a night, it was a big letdown. We didn’t even stay the last night. We just drove home at the end of the day. Lesson learned.

It was great they could be just a little more room in between the site but altogether it is a great place to stay for a little family trip the staff was very welcoming and helpful and all the other guests was super nice and respectful also.

For the first time I was denied charging up my EV car ar the 50A outlet on side. That for me is a deal breaker.

The amenities were enjoyable, especially for the grandkids. The road noise from Big Cove Road made sleep nearly impossible in the tent section, site 46. Relocating the tent section to the back part of the park would be a worthy investment. Staff were friendly. Bathrooms were clean, yet too cold.

Loved the clouds hanging on the mountains and the stream that runs through the campsite. Lots to offer for kids and adults. Fun time.

Loved the pool! Site 51 was great. Good place to walk and fish or ride bikes. We figured mosquitoes would be bad with the surrounding water but they were not. Hot tub wasn't always hot and the game room could use more arcade games, otherwise a very good stay.

The deluxe cabin was very nice along with the entire campground. Dog friendly, plenty of activities for the kids, nice pool and a well stocked camp store with very reasonable prices. All of the staff I spoke to were eager to help and very friendly.

Everything was fabulous at KOA Cherokee. Most definitely wish we could have stayed longer. Only tiny complaint is the mattress in 508 needs to be updated was super lumpy on one side..... Loved the cabin though and the check with river front. Just an amazing honeymoon getaway

Area was beautiful! Great view of the river, pool was nice, very relaxing and we had some great fun fishing!

Our stay was good.... although I have some recommendations....I would like TV in all rooms.....also the shower head was a bit to forceful for the younger ones...it was like bees biting you....the pressure was great just change the shower head .....overall it was a good time for all ...staff was friendly and helpful....see you again

When our space flooded with over night rains, the staff was very accommodating and allowed is to move to a new and upgraded site. They were all very friendly.

Campground was in a great location, however, the quiet hours were not followed. It was loud, kids riding golf carts blowing horns, loud music sometimes until 2:00 am. I will probably not go back due to this. I enjoy my peace and quiet while camping especially after 10:00 pm at night.

We rented the 2 bedroom cabin. The camp ground was great, fishing and pool. The cabin was less than desirable for the cost. Water was turned off on arrival. I was able to turn it on no problem. Massive water leak at the connection. Smell of mold, floor was sagging and air conditioning was lacking. In general we have enjoyed the cabins before but this unit was not in the best connection.

The bathrooms were in very rough shape with a broken shower and cleanliness was poor. The pool deck was very slippery due to green algae. The store closed a bit early at 5pm. There was very poor drainage and we had a lake at our campsite after a light to moderate rainfall. Everything else was nice.

Nice site on the river, with trees and views of the mountains. (motorhome with full hook-ups) Friendly staff, great amenities and huge camp store with nice gifts/souvenirs. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this koa. Outdoor fire pit by river needs repaired. Need game pieces to the outdoor cornhole ping pong rope throwing game etc Great place but needs up keep on things like that.

Really enjoy the quiet setting. Close to town for shopping and groceries. Tons of things for kids to do. Convenience store open 9-5 if needed

This place is great our cabin was clean and neat.(except for the stink bugs) Plenty of places to fish if you want to Always someone doing something to keep the camp ground clean

Wwe stayed in a cabin. Cabin was nice, alittle small. The mattresses were less than desirable. Overall and great place to stay!
