This campground needs some maintenance. Needs mowed, site had grass over 12” tall. Whole campground needed mowed and trimmed.

Unfortunately, this KOA has been neglected for so long that the Facebook group Campground reviews says it all. The grass was over 12” tall. The whole park needed mowed and trimmed. The pool that was “ under construction” never had anyone doing work on it the week we were there. No restroom/shower house in the Highlands part of the campground. Very poor representation of a KOA. We stay here a couple of times every year and like the park. Good service, and sites. We usually stay in the Highlands in a pull through. Some of the sites up there a little better than others size and level wise but overall easy to get in and out of which is important to us. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Always accommodating never having an issue there no matter where we stay in the campground we prefer the highlands and I’m always able to get a site in the preferred area

Pool was not open due to construction of pool , and said they were having problems getting life guards , grass at patio site not cut and mulch full of weeds and grass

We were here for the location. Pretty central for visiting boston, salem, Plymouth, cape cod. For this I give a thumbs up. We did not use all the "play" amenities so can't speak to that but seem nice. There are many wooded ,nice sized spots. Ours was not one of them, very tight with neighbors, had to share a water hook up, did not have a hose that long. Bathrooms in serious need of attention

I don’t like to complain. Usually if I’m not happy I’ll just say nothing. But I need to give my opinion. The rv park is large. The rvs in the highlands area need their own bathroom/showers, the sites need gravel and the weeds/grass need cut. If you want to charge resort like prices, you need to provide resort amenities. Could be a great campground, but poorly maintained. Not the level of upkeep we expect at KOA's. More of a permanent site campground. Grass was not mowed. Wood chips around the fire pit, we had to watch every ember. Long distance to facilities from the back part of the campground. Speed not enforced. Pool down due to health department. Decent size lots.

Very disappointed in our stay. We booked our sites months ago with being told the pool would be open. As the date got closer, I emailed and called with no response. Had I known there would have been no pool on a 90 degree weekend, I would have rebooked or cancelled. They had 2 water slides that ended in brown water for all the kids there. Very upset about the poor communication regarding the pool

The staff was nice and helpful, however I called to make this reservation and stated that I had a child in a wheelchair, the site was gravel and dirt was everywhere. When it rained, there was mud. I wish the person I spoke to would have put us at a site that had concrete. It was very difficult to find trash cans.

The staff needs to be considerate of where they park trailers. Was set up for a spot that had no shade. It was 97 degrees out. Asked for another spot. Probably 50 -80 spots available. Parked us next to a family with 2 autistic kids that ran around our trailer unsupervised. The park itself was a little unkempt but large areas to walk around, liked the frisbee golf area. The jumping pads !

It was a nice stay. Quiet. We used the laundry but had to wipe out the machines before using them. Lint filters were lint free but not crud free. Minimal dirt on washer gaskets. Roads are not paved so there's a bit of dust.

LOVED being there! The sites were terrific - all hook ups perfect. We did laundry - also clean and reasonable - loved it all.

We enjoyed the sports amenities like jumping pillow, ladder ball, basketball, football, etc.. but were so disappointed the pool was still closed. It was nice the campground was not super crowded with people at the time we went. The highway noise was pretty constant and loud, however.

We had a large group campground went out of their way to give us sites together and allowed us to stay late on exit day.

Only R$1 bath house. So there was a line for the showers when we went in the evening It's also pretty far from the full hook up sites we had to drive there instead of walking. Not sure. The pool was open because every time we drove by. No one was in it. We did things in Boston, and the traffic getting back took much longer. So we don't know about the pool. They do have a nice playground and play

Stayed there 3 nights and the women’s bathroom was never serviced. Only one of the 3 soap dispensers had soap. One sink was clogged. Debris all over the floor of the laundry room. Nice place but not well maintained.

Overall - great trip! Watched the O’s in Fenway Park with my bride! Bucket list item - check. Lowlight. Customer service at KOA. Paid an add’l $60 for an early check in when occupancy was probably lucky to be 40%. I communicated that we needed the early check in to catch the uber for the day game and have AC for our dog. Sorry, won’t be staying here again and not recommending to anyone eithe

Paid extra rate for premium site and we got a view of the maintenance yard and shed. I don’t think it’s been mowed since the last time I was here four years ago.

We stayed for a month, for the price we paid, I am disappointed. They didn’t mow or weed wack anything the whole stay. The sites are VERY close together. The guests that go there seem to think it is the equivalent to the local bar and that they can blast their terrible karaoke all day and all night. My children don’t need to be listening to drunks sing explicit songs all day, for multiple stay

Great location - easy access to downtown Boston on the train or just a short drive to Cap Cod/Plymouth. Sights are tree lined and wide. Staff was nice, but the office is closed between the hours of 12 noon and 1pm, so if you arrive early for check-in, the office is locked.

I have been coming 4 years straight on Memorial Day weekend. Three out of 4 years the pool was closed. We will not book that weekend again. I also bought rain insurance which did not pay even though it rained all weekend.

The campsites are to crowded. One right on top of the next one. They have quite time at 11 but there were a group of people camping together and they played their music really loud and did Karaoke until after midnight. There was no one there to enforce the rules. The camp grounds itself was very nice. They have alot of stuff for the kids to do.

Nice campground. Internet was not good. We like to watch local news and weather. We were able to get some shows via antenna, but would like campgrounds to offer cable. The trend seems to be to offer only wi fi, but as the campground fills, the wifi doesnt work and even though we visited pre season and it wasnt crowded, wi fi was sketchy.

Staff was great!! Site was a bit crowded but we did wait until late to book Memorial Day Weekend so I'm sure we got the least desirable sites because that was all that was left. Overall, a great campground for families.

We stayed in site 712 with our 37' fifth wheel for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was super convenient to take the train into Boston, and driving to Cape Cod, Newport, and Plymouth were a breeze. The RV sites are tight, but it didn't bother us. We were there for the Memorial Day weekend and it got packed, but after everyone cleared out on Monday, we had a little nook to ourselves. The staff interactions were helpful and pleasant. The laundry room is a nice size, with 5 or 6 washers and just as many dryers. A little pricey at $4 per wash and $3 per dry.

I visited KOA Boston/Cape Cod this weekend, and we absolutely loved the experience. The space was cozy and well-organized, the service was exceptional, and we received a very warm welcome. (I can't recall the names of the specific people we interacted with), but we want to thank the entire team. I needed a spot to store my travel trailer and was able to make a reservation with them in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend it—it is very well located.
