We have been staying at KOAs for 45 years as tent campers first, the cleanliness and consistency is what made our stay nice. In 2019 we purchased a motorhome and the KOA card, and tend to stay at KOAs, This one however is the lowest score I have ever given one. It is listed as a Holiday and falls way short of that. Poor roads, pool was new but always closed,not clean, staff not friendly.

There are a few things which would have made it better. The list of daily activities was only posted in the general store. If the list of activities could be viewable from the KOA app, or posted in other places it would be more convenient. The bathrooms were attended by KOA staff often, but soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers were empty. The bathrooms were clean though!

Brand new pool was not working during our visit. Very disappointing but we do realize it was nothing intentional and koa gave is a 15% credit for our inconvenience. I thought that was fair. Splash pad was a GREAT option for our 3yr old grandson

We really enjoyed our stay at the KOA Middleboro. Lots of activities for the kids, honestly we couldn't even do all of it, there wasn't enough time. Site did have some garbage on it when we arrived. Bathrooms only were cleaned during the day and by the morning they were gross. Pool was closed on Sunday due to "maintenance" but seasonal campers told us they close every Sunday due to staff.

The staff was extremely helpful, grounds and restrooms clean. Some sites are quite small, ours was fine for us. The pool is really nice but disappointing that it was closed for all but one day of our stay due to staffing( and for limited hours) The site said there were food trucks, but there were none over the weekend.

cigarette butts all over our campsite, trash truck parked right behind us, un-level spot so we had to haul out the chocks ,and more outdoor lighting than I have ever seen at a campground. Streetlights everywhere. We had reserved 2 nights but left after the first night.

I came from Boston w my family. The pool was closed both days due to no lifeguard. Mind you the pool is 4ft deep and "required " 3 life guards. Yet the Olympic size pool uptown Middleboro has only 2 lifeguards. Make it make sense? There was a splash pad but my kids aged 12 and 16 were not interested. The manager was very nice about giving me back $ but we were disappointed. Place is well kept.

We really enjoyed your campground. The activities and features were fun. My dogs liked the K9 camp on dry mornings, although it gets real muddy and was inaccessible due to a huge puddle in the rain.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to my needs. The campground was very clean especially the bathroom and showers. I've never stayed anywhere with bathroom this clean. My only recommendations would be that there needs to be more showers than 3 in the bathroom, and a bigger laundry facility especially since there were broken washers.

This was the first time my family and I came to your camp site and one of the reasons we chose your site is because of the pool. When we checked in on Saturday the front desk said the pool would be open until 7:30pm but when we got down to the pool we were told due to a lack of lifeguards they would close earlier. Then Sunday the pool never opened. So disappointed.

Although there appears to be updates going on, there is definitely a lack of staff. The bathrooms by the pool were disgusting and needed a thorough cleaning. Also, we only saw the 2 same workers all week doing garbage runs. Additionally, it does not appear that rules check out rules apply.

The KOA front office personal was very helpful on trying to help with are request for a printed directions! All the the staff that we encounter were pleasant and very helpful.

Staff friendly, courteous, and solution-oriented. Pool requires 3 (!) lifeguards, which seems over the top. Led to days with unplanned pool closings.

Awful sites. My mother fell as everyone stairs we not high enough to get her to ground. We have a leveling system but it sunk into mud and soft earth. Bathrooms were gross and out of toilet paper. It's a busy season maybe clean and restock more that once a day. Will never stay here again

Overpriced. Found dirty Q-tips on our site, crammed in next to older trailers, screaming kids and barking dogs. $85 a night, should have been half that.

We stayed in a one room “upgraded” cabin. The cabin was clean and quiet. The bigger issues were the bathroom and pool. The pool/splash pad is GORGEOUS. However, the lifeguards were on their phones the entire time, never looking at the pool, opened and closed when they felt like it. The bathrooms were far (though listed as near by) from the cabins and dirty, full of hair and generally disgus

We had a good time. We were a little disappointed when the pool opening was delayed due to lifeguard shortage. Our cabin was clean but the site and our tent site had trash ( bottle caps small stuff) littered about that our young grandson had eagle eyes at finding - the site just needed a quick rake. I know it is under new staff so know they need time . Have stayed many times before and will again

We stay every year the last 5 years or so but likely will not return next year,.switch it up. We were very disappointed this year. Pool was only open 1 of the 3 days, which is the #1 thing my kids look forward to. Hopefully KOA figures out their staffing/lifeguard issue.

We got to the camp ground just as the office was closing. There was an issue with the key for the cabin, the two people said a person was down there to fix it. Had to call the emergency line to get into the cabin. But that was the only major issue. Lots of kid friendly thing. But we don’t have kids.

A bit disappointed compared to other KOAs we have stayed at. For the price point would expect the grounds to better kept, bathrooms cleaned daily (3 days went by, backup toilet and door of stall off). The new splash pad and pool were very nice, when opened but they often didn’t open until 11 am and closed at 4:30pm due to lack of lifeguard. Wish site had not been surrounded by seasonal RVs.

The pool was closed. It was 90* both days of our stay. I had 4 little kids that were very unhappy. Hopefully you can get a handle on the lifeguard situation in the future.

Manager that was filling in (from Billings, MT) was great! Very friendly! The site was nicely wooded, we love that! Since Massachusetts instituted a 3 lifeguard policy for the pool, which is crazy to us, the pool was not able to be open much during our stay.

Manager Anthony was very rude and unaccommodating; accused us of squatting after we didn't notify of late departure (as we were doing our best to leave as quickly as possible). Charged us for an extra night (even though we left by early afternoon) and told us it would be for the best if we did not return, which we do not plan to. We felt very unwelcome and have never been treated so poorly camping

Sites need to be updated to a better KOA experience. Pool was great,however it has to be open. When guards were there working pool behavior was terrible. Kids on shoulders chicken fights, kids flipping into pool,kids running,and me being a former lifeguard and Water Safety instructor WSI,no lifeguard should be looking at cellphone more than the pool. Not many choices won't stay again.

The kids enjoyed the jump pads, however that was the extent of the positive experience. Despite advertising a brand new pool and splash pad, they would not open for use due to ridiculous lifeguard rules. Many vehicles were going way too fast down our lane, to the point management had to send out a mass text. Grass was high at our site, and one water hydrant shared among 4 sites. Would not return.

The office staff are questionable. Pools hours limited as Massachusetts requires life guards at the pool. When I checked in, the young lady couldn't find my reservation, not under my name, telephone number, or address (I am a VIP KOA member.) She couldn't make change $9 - 8.43. No map until I asked. The WONDERFUL gentleman "filling in" from Montana was AMAZING.

The only thing holding me back from giving it five stars. Is every advertisement I get from them.Is that their pool is open. But it's been a very turbulent year for the pool. Understaffed, long stretches of being closed. Consecutive sundays also frequently closing early due to the amount of lifeguards. It's been extremely hot summer, so the pool was the deal maker for us, as far as campgrounds.

Anthony = fantastic!! The campground itself was nicer than others we’ve stayed at. Cabin was in quiet area which we appreciated. But the communication was far less than other campgrounds. The pool and life guard situation was a mess. The new pool was the reason we picked this one. While my family and friends had a blast camping, the inconsistent pool hours was really disappointing! It was incredibly hot this past weekend and having the pool close at 4pm when we had gotten texts that said the pool would be open until 7 pm was shocking. We saw families walk up to the pool only to be disappointed, especially since the pool was completely closed yesterday.

Overall we had a good time. A couple of things for you to improve on....bathrooms should be cleaned daily, lifeguards at the pool should NOT be allowed to be on their phones, and when guests book cabins they should be informed of what the cabin has or doesn't have (example, AC, grill, etc.). All employees at the office/store and the employees who drive around the campus were GREAT!! Thank you!

The grounds and amenities were decent, but the staff seemed confused and like nobody knew what was going on. Every time I asked a question, the staff members I asked seemed confused and couldn’t answer them. For a Holiday level KOA there were little to no rec activities. The bath houses were not well cared for, the trash cans were always overflowing. Don’t even get me started on pool hours

We booked Boston/Cape Cod KOA for the pool, but left after 23 hours of a 5-day stay. Day 1: pool closed 3 hours early at 4pm due to staffing. Day 2: pool was closed all day with no explanation. The planned activities also fell completely flat. With nothing to do and no working amenities in 90-degree weather, it was a waste of time. Avoid if you want reliable amenities or family fun.

I have to shout out one specific member of the KOA Team, Anthony operations manager. He received a lot of slack from guests regarding the pool operations. He handled himself professionally, and made sure all guests concerns were addressed.

Our first ever RV camping experience and we stayed here. It was wonderful and we will absolutely be back! Amenities were great, campgrounds were clean, general store was super cute and had helpful items we forgot at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Boston KOA! The grounds were clean, our cabin was very clean, and there were so many fun activities for the kids to enjoy. The girl at the front desk was so kind and welcoming! A special shoutout to the lady who was in charge of the crafts and bingo and her husband. They were both absolutely amazing, so friendly and funny, and they really made our stay extra enjoyable! It's the people who make a place special, and the staff here truly made our trip memorable. We had such a great time and would highly recommend Boston KOA to families looking for a clean, fun, and welcoming place to stay. We would absolutely love to come back! ❤️🏕️

We received top quality service from Paul he was the best!there are others I would like to mention Marta. The cabins were great and had everything you needed and if you mention some thing you need as they passed by they would say stay there I will bring it to you, I would highly recommend this sight and I am looking to come back next year
