The staff is always very welcoming and efficient. We have stayed at Boone KOA many times over the last 20 years and have always been very pleased. So glad that it survived Hurricane Helene pretty much intact.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, large playground for the kids, easy in-and-out sites. It was pretty crowded when we were there, but it was a June weekend so it wasn't unexpected.

Wife and I spent a week at KOA Boone ending with a great weekend with our camping group. As always Kristine and the entire staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great facilities for our group functions and we take advantage of the wide range of ways to camp. We have been regular "Boone in June" visitors for a number of years. Thank you and hope to see you next year.

The pool is tiny and the put-put corse looks as if it’s going to fall apart. Not to mention the pool closes at6pm and it’s still light outside!

The site padF7 was nowhere close to being level Someone decided to cut off the water for repairs during the morning checkout time so we couldn’t properly clean and flush tanks. Maybe wait until after checkout time The place was clean and amenities were nice

Rustic campground. Depending on the size of your rig it can be a difficult drive to in to the campground. Saw several rigs having trouble parking. If you have a back in site make sure you know where it is. There is a row that sits basically right inside the playground. They were having a kids camp when we were there. Kids running all around the trailers. Would have been nice to know that first.

Very nice campground. Sites are a little tight but manageable getting in and out. It would be nice to have the toilets upgraded to the taller models. Older folks have a harder time getting down and up from them.

Kristine the camp manager is top notch! She makes the KOA Boone a special place! Campground is well maintained and clean. Definitely going to stay there again. Kids enjoyed the goats and mini golf.

Site was a little small for our camper and truck but thanks for letting us park in a vacant spot. Very peaceful stay in a beautiful area. Wonderful people running the Koa, bathrooms and showeres were extremely clean and grounds are kept beautifully. We will be back!!

Very nice campground! Lots of things to do in the campground and it is fairly near to all that Boone has to offer. Normally, not a fan of places with a lot of seasonal sites but those sites are very well maintained and did not detract from the rest of the campground. One suggestion would be to match the street names(on signs) with the names on the map.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we love it. We always stay with KOA because it's consistent and you know what you're going to get. This campground is located just far enough out of Boone, it's quiet, clean and a lot of fun.

Great week at Boone KOA. The mountains are open, beautiful and need our support. No better place to camp than at this little piece of heaven just outside Boone. Good folks and good times.

This was our first time camping at the Boone KOA and we were extremely pleased! The campground is so clean and well taken care of. The amenities are very family friendly. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit! The campground is super close to all the attractions in the area, but the setting makes you feel as though you are many miles away in a secluded mountain area.

Nice location in a beautiful area. Staff were courteous and friendly. Two problems: First, the sites are on top of each other; very crowded. Second, the site that we had wasn't level. We have 4" of leveling capability and we were still 2.5" out of level.

It’s was great. Wasn’t loud, except for kids having funfun, like they should and the WiFi was great. We would go back again. The staff was friendly and my wife loved the small animals. You can buy food to feed them for 25 cents. Overall it was a great stay.

Boone location, great. Activities/amenities, great. Staff, SUPER. It’s just an older campground and so sites are SO close together. Sitting in your chair or at picnic table you’re within feet of your neighbor’s sewer connection. Not a good outdoor experience. I’m sure kids love it though! Holiday live music (Hwy 194) was great!!

Nice views. Camper pull through pad was fairly level considering this campground is in the mountains. Beautiful mountain laurel bushes and large trees all around. Friendly and helpful staff.

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
