I could not have been happier or more comfortable. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. I’ve been here a few times before but not for an extended stay. Was even better with more time there.

We love the staff and feeding the goats and the cool mountain breezes. We stayed during the entire summer and only used our AC 3 afternoons when it was in the 80's.

Beautiful spot conveniently located to everything you may want to do while visiting Boone. Campground is tree lined and the sites are spacious. Facilities are clean and tidy. You won’t meet a friendlier and more helpful staff anywhere along your journey! A definite great place to camp!

Stayed last weekend of October to attend the App State football game. Weather was beautiful, campground is clean and well taken care of. This is our 3rd time staying here and we have had a good experience each time. I wish they were open all year. We will definitely go back. People at front desk and store are friendly and helpful.

Wifi was bad. No tv cable and NO TV via air. Personnel were very friendly. Close to grocery and restaurants. Would definitely return .

Great staff and stay! The wifi is not great, but that was the only negative that I can think of. Who needs wifi when camping?

staff was great and koa location was perfect and the scenery up on ridge was beautiful and when koa puts in fiber it will be alot easier to get tv i what to thanks and we will be back next year .........

We had beautiful weather didn't seem like end of October felt like summer truly beautiful weather. Grandson had an awesome time putt putting, decorating a pumpkin, trick or treating , egg hunt. Truly a lot to keep him busy. We also went to tweetsie ghost train and it was awesome. Owner of this campground truly is a gem.

Location was awesome. Close to Boone and attractions (Blue Ridge Parkway). Bathrooms were very clean. Had to rehook up and move the camper every time we needed to empty the black or gray tanks as it was at the very end of the site and even with 3 hoses, it did not reach. Felt like the sites were so close together and on top of each other.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We had a blast participating in the Halloween activities! Everything was clean and well kept! We will be back!

Sites are too small and not level. Staff was extremely friendly. I Campground is a good location. It’s close to stuff close to town but far enough away that you could not hear any traffic or noise.

This is a campground in the mountains so yes sites are a bit uneven and maybe even close together as others have commented but it is a beautiful area! No cable and spotty wifi but hotspot worked fine! We have rebooked for next October! Love all Boone & Blowing Rock have to offer.

Second time staying, we stayed in the cabins w/out amenities. Bathrooms were close and showers were hot! Fun activities for all ages. And the area is great too!

We sure loved the mountain views and the cows. Also, the pet Halloween costume contest was fun. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. Such a good location and fun!

We had a great time! Loved the location, and the mountain feel this campground has. The family had a great time feeding the animals, playing putt putt, pool table, and other games. Kids loved the Halloween activities. My only complaint (which isn't necessarily a deal breaker) would be that some of the "pull through" spots cant be Pulled through due to trees on the corners. We had to back out..

The WiFi does not work. I am a REALTOR and I needed WiFi. Never able to connect. Also there is no cable for TV & could not get but 2-3 over the air channels even with a booster. Cable TV & Wifi are necessities in today's world. Bath house is nice & clean. Staff was friendly.

Good stay. Plenty of areas to walk the dogs however the dog park was on the side of a hill. The Furry Critters had no problems but being a disabled veteran with issues with my legs it could be difficult to clean up after them. Overall a fun stay with a friendly and helpful staff. �

The place is fairly quiet, BUT, it is extremely cramped. Our site was barely big enough for a pop-up, without room to park a vehicle. Mobile fire pits are small, and since the sites are so small, you risk burning your vehicle or your camper if you actually use it.

Everything was perfect, clean cabin, quiet and wonderful staff. Check in was a breeze and staff are so nice and helpful! 5 Stars in my opinion!

Very friendly staff, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great camping experience. We will be back! Only downside is it’s not open year round, but considering the winter weather conditions and everyone needs a break I can live with it.

Someone allowed their dog to poop next to our tent while we were out. The smell was horrible all night. We don’t know who allowed this however there were several large dogs next to our site so I’m assuming it was them as it wasn’t there when we set up and left for an event. It was there when we returned that evening after dark. Don’t plan on staying there again.

Can't wait to go back. Friendly staff and clean KOA. Loved every second of our stay. Only regret is we didn't stay long enough.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
