The staff was wonderful; it was very quiet and clean sites. The trees were very well spaced for the RVs. It deserves a 5.

We were there for our Granddaughters graduation from App State. I would recommend this campground to anyone with a similar need.

This is a beautiful campground. The outside and inside buildings were well cleaned. They have a pool for summertime. Staff were friendly. The one thing I over looked is in the pet policy it's says you are not to leave your pet in camper if you go off site. This is not good if you are planing to go hiking or off site sight seeing etc. This would be my only reason we would not come back.Great place

We were in Boone to visit are son so used the campground as a home base. Everything and everyone were great. Thank you for a great stay.

Very friendly and nice. Beautiful campground in the country. Very clean bathhouse. Nice amenities with games, petting burros, lovely swimming pool, and much more. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice overnight stay!! Check in was a breeze, super friendly folks. Site was as described, clean and level. Bathrooms were clean. If in the area, we’d definitely stay again! Thank you.

Campground should be a Journey not a Holiday KOA. Very steep road to the campground and you have to drive a very tight and sharp curves inside the Koa to leave Staff was good but just not m6ch to do unless you want go to Boone and sit in traffic to go anywhere. This KOA needs an badly needed update to be called a KOA Holiday

We stayed from opening in May till closing in October. It was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are awesome. Very helpful. Very informative would definitely stay again. Very dog friendly, which is great and like I said, the staff and your hosts were very wonderful people.

Our first time here but we loved the campground. It rained the entire time but we found some fun things to do in Boone outside the campground. Gem mining was fun. The campground staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

My hubby and I were on a site that will become our future favorite. We love the great outdoors and farm life so our view was especially amazing, The laughter of children on the merry go round and the sounds of cows mooing and goats bleating added to the serenity of our stay. Office staff were very friendly as well. We have already booked another stay!

We arrived in the dark and had difficulty finding the dirt road to our site. The roads and sites were completely covered in fallen leaves. The bathrooms were okay. The water pressure was good, and the showers were nice and hot. The sink available to wash dishes was dirty and had little room for placing the washed dishes.

We love each of our visits to Boone KOA. No finer people in the business than the staff there. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to the beautiful mountain getaway in the spring of 26.

This is an older campground but it is clean and quiet. I rate it a 4 because space is cramped and we.had an incline which made hooking up more difficult. Our truck wouod not fit in the space with our camper easily either. Other than that we enjoyed our time at the campground and it is very close to everything.

I would recommend if it was not site B2. This site had so many tree roots that my camper was 5 1/2" out of level. I get being out of level, but that was a bit much. I did purchase a new 6" leveling kit that would have resolved my issue since getting home. I stepped in dog pop 5 times on my site the 3 days I was there.

Very relaxing, pet friendly, very peaceful. Camp sites are level, very quiet at night. Highly recommend this place to anyone. It's our home away from home.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Any issues we had were handled quickly and efficiently. With that said, I doubt we'll be going back. The sites are (in my opinion) extremely packed together, no consideration was given to help mitigate the problem of large tree roots (i.e.; add gravel, adjust site location, etc.), and the infrastructure is in need of attention.

The Boone KOA never disappoints. The bathrooms are clean, the sites are nice, level, and well maintained. The staff is friendly and available. The donkeys are terrific alarm clocks, and the goats are endlessly entertaining. The campground’s recent connectivity upgrade makes staying connected very easy, or the lack of cell coverage lets you be disconnected if you want. This is a great spot!

easy hassle free every time. quiet setting away from any busy main roads. facilities are clean. you can tell the owners take pride in the campground. convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock and other mountain areas.

Nice quite area, easy check in and to find our spot, loved having the farm next door, the cows would come over near the fence in the morning and the kids loved it. Bathrooms could use a little extra TLC but definitely would stay here again!

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
