We were there after Hurricane Helene. They had no water but the campground did all it could to assist the campers. The location is wonderful.

They were very accommodating. The bathrooms were fantastic. I'm a big bathroom person. I don't like dirty bathrooms. Theirs was well maintained. And the campground people were super nice. And the campground was well kept as well.

Considering they just experienced a hurricane and we were there to volunteer, they were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Can't wait to plan a actual vacation there.

I was volunteering for Samaritans purse in the Boone relief effort. They allow us to stay at half price. Beautiful campground, great clean bathrooms with very warm showers. I really appreciated their hospitality!

The stay was cut short by Hurricane Helene. Lost utilities 2 days into stay in Boone, NC. But the campground manager did the right thing with appropriate credit reimbursement.

Under the weather the storm the staff was very good looking after us and keeping us as safe. We plan to return for a stay later

Other than being up a narrow, curvy road the campground was good. The only complaint I have is the campgrounds handling of hurricane Helene. No one came around before the storm offering shelter in the store/office or any other plans for the coming storm. They left Friday evening after Helene and we never saw them again before we left on Sunday I think preparation/response could have been bett

Didn't realize that Hurricane Helene would effect our stay at KOA and the frontal system that decided to stall over us for 3 days. We didn't get to sit outside on the patio that I paid extra for because of the rain and the patio turned into a pond. But we left early and they gave us a refund for 1 night and the extra for patio. Very gracious and said for us to have a safe trip home. We'll go back

The staff was very pleasant. We did not make use of the showers or shop. The only reason I can not give 5 star review is that the entry and exit of our site was severely worn away and only partially filled with soft dirt and loose stone. We toured daily on our motorcycle and had to fight our way in and out to not actually lay the bike down. It was like parking in sand.

We really enjoy the Boone KOA and the friendly and helpful staff. The scenery is beautiful and the goats are fun to watch.

The road leading to the campground is very small with tight turns for a 43 foot 5th wheel. The campground is nice, especially being between cows and the donkey/goat/chicken pastures. Enjoyed all of the animals!

Nice staff and professional. Facility over all was good. Did not like the close proximity to each other and some of the sites it was difficult to hook up sewer and water, for us old folks, but would go back there again.

This is our fourth straight year that I have brought our Airstream Caravan to Boone KOA. Our caravaners love coming here because it’s close to a lot of places to see, and the campground is very well maintained and has more than ample meeting and events space. Kristina and her team always takes great care of our group!

Airstream caravan with 15 trailers. Hosts are very accommodating. Only thing that could be improved is to sweep down all the spiders in the laundry.

The only negative thing I could say is that we were told we got the last site available....and I know the weather may have caused some cancellations but I truly cannot believe it would be quite THAT many. Our site was definitely unlevel so bring some levelers or boards you need otherwise beautiful woodsy park.

It was a quiet campground and everything was tidy. The internet was not enough for streaming and there was no cable, as I have seen at most other KOAs.

Good Camp ground. We were in E3. Sites were close together and not level front to back. and sewer was in a strange spot. (Compared to most KOAs) it was also on the side of a mountain so can’t fuss too much. The KOA itself was clean. Good amenities and nice staff. Pretty convenient location - just up a mountain haha.

The road leading to the campground was very narrow and extremely curvy. Two large vehicles could not pass each other. Also, we were hauling a car and could not back up. On the way up there was a dip on the shoulder and that could have been disastrous. Also, the sewer connection at the sight needs to be raised, some of them had wood surrounding them which would make it impossible to attach the hose

We were only there for one night, so we didn't have much time, but we liked the campground. The laundry room was great, and clean! The animals were a fun perk, and the signage on the way to the campground was valuable. As is the case with most KOAs, the sites are tight, but for one night, we didn't really mind too much.

We had a great time. The employees were friendly and informative. We and our dogs enjoyed visiting with the goats, donkeys and cows. We stay at KOA’s quite often. This was probably the smallest one we’ve been to. Our site was a bit small for our 26’. They were all pull throughs which was great. It was clean and quiet. Overall another positive experience at KOA.

We love Boone and now that we have found a nice and clean campground, we can’t wait to plan multiple trips back. The bathrooms/shower houses were clean as well as the grounds. Service was great and they have a good verity of stuff in the front office.

Campground was clean and appeared to be well cared for. Our site is a pull through with noce new gravel and a newer retaining wall. Nice picnic table and a small fire pit. The site is a bit tight for our 35' fifth wheel and our truck, but we squeezed them in. The site is only a little out of level, so we were able to easily level the rig up. Not far from Boone, NC, but very quiet and secluded in the hills.
