Great campground!

Small rustic campground with a few nice sites. Many mostly shaded. A bit tight for larger rigs over 36’. We were on site C8 with a large new deck and fire pit with nice views in the distance. Narrow access roads and a good hill climb to access park. Worth the effort, just take it slow and pay close attention to road and entering/ exiting your site.

Katrina was very helpful to us, in our maiden voyage in this RV's camping. Boone is great. They have a few things to entertain. Restrooms were clean and functional.

A true camping experience. The entire staff is amazing! I travel all over the country and 80% of the time stay in KOA’s and this KOA is by far top of my list of best overall experience. They really go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible!

The grounds were clean and sites maintained, we didn't use any amenities but did take walks around the grounds; love the cows. No escort to our site; we have found this at other KOAs. It's helpful as sharing of best practices to get to and into the site and set up. The site to be comfortable, it was under a large type of pine that was seeping sap, messy and sticky; we love all the trees, but!.

5 night stay. Very welcoming check-in. Nice pull through site level. Very good Wi-Fi. Pastoral surroundings are relaxing.

Very nice quiet campground, we enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated being able to meet up with family members to have a cookout and was not charged any extra fee for them to come in for the day. Thank you!!

Bathrooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and the goats were a blast! The only thing I found inconvenient was little metal ring type things secured in the concrete pad of our spot in E1. I almost tripped so many times, I didn't thankfully but had several hurt toes to last the trip.

Excellent campground in the mountains. Quiet with a pool, camp store, recreation and dog facilities. Spacious sites and easy to get to. Easy basecamp for mountain adventures

Our family LOVED this quaint, clean, and friendly KOA. The yard ornaments were a big hit with the grandkids. It was nice having things outside for them to explore and hunt for that didn’t involve electronics . The store had a lot of useful and interesting things to look at and purchase. We really enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to Tweetsie.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The laundry area and bathrooms were clean. Our sites were level and good sized.

Everything was excellent. The store offered everything we needed and more. Everyone was so friendly! It's a great campground, but it was a little tight to get in and out of the spaces with a long camper. We loved feeding the animals, there were many events offered, and everything was very clean. We will stay again!!

Very pleasant - clean People are nice. We buy homemade bread from the lady at the store and it’s delicious. The last time we were here is few goats were pitifully overweight. I didn’t see the goats this time. I know it’s fun for kids to feed then but maybe a limit for the health of the goats!

Very clean and quiet campground. Nice staff. Stay 3 nights and would definitely recommend to anyone. Will stay again for sure!

Wonderful experience. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff. In between rain showers our kids were able to break in the pool for the season but, surprisingly, I believe bingo was the biggest hit. Thank you for creating and maintaining an affordable, family friendly environment.

We have been several times. We like this campground. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly. We’ll continue coming here and the city is fantastic with plenty of things to do. We love going to Grandfather Vineyards. Great entertainment, food and wine.

I have been coming to Boone KOA for over 10 yrs. Joan and Kristine are wonderful. There is no other business that the owner meets you with a hug and welcomes you back. Kristine was oh so very helpful when my truck's brakes were going out suggesting businesses to contact. And of course to leave my trailer there until we got it fixed. They are truly family to me and I cry every time I leave.

The Boone KOA is located in a picturesque mountain setting with cows, goats and donkeys in neighboring pastures. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom facilities were kept clean and tidy throughout our 4 night stay.

Nice campground, lots are a bit small, loose gravel makes it a bit tough for motorcycles, pine tree pitch was a bit too much, bath house was was ok, staff was awesome

Another great stay and we've made reservations for next year. The improvements over the past few years have made the Kampground much more enjoyable, especially the high speed internet. Now when your done with the days sightseeing/activities you can unwind with a movie or check your email/social media. Christina and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Great campground just outside the town. Close enough for a great meal or day along the parkway but still away enough to enjoy the beautiful mountains. Love Boone KOA! Wonderful team and campground.

We really enjoyed this campground. The staff was helpful and very friendly. In fact, we’ve booked a week in October already. The site we were on was nice and flat so leveling was a breeze.

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
