Everything was as expected, the only issue I had was I was in the smallest campsite with a big drop off on the pull out side of the site due to the driveway being washed out. There were others site open, but I didn't' realize how many open spots there were until after I had already set up.

Very friendly staff. The campground is clean and well maintained. There are several activities like corn hole, putt putt, a pool, small playground and a room with puzzles.

Not sufficient parking for our tow vehicle even though it’s a tiny smart car, and the internet did not work the bulk of our time there but otherwise an okay campground. Beautiful area.

Very clean an organized campground. Friendly staff! Putt Putt and the donkey's and goats were a great addition to our stay. On-site laundry was helpful as well.

I have stayed here a few times. It's a nice, quiet, well maintained place. Cooler temperatures and dog run are a plus. Animal lovers be sure to check out the goats and donkeys! Looking forward to my next visit:)

Staff was very friendly and helpful (always). Bath facilities were spotless! Store was quaint with really nice craft items for sale and the world's best home made bread! Store supplies were perfect for campers, with "forgotten items" readily available. Grounds were well kept and parking was easy. They have great "extra" accommodations for kids and adult campers. It is a wonderful place to stay!!

While it rained most time we were there it was very nice place well taken care of. New to camping (with travel trailer that is) so was a great experience with our trailer with a porch on the back. Will go back for sure

We stayed here as we volunteered with Samaritans Purse helping with the hurricane relief efforts. The staff was very friendly and the campground is located in a beautiful region. The road to the campground and the camp spots were a little tight for our 32' RV, but we managed just fine - even with our car in tow. While in the area, Grandfather Mountain with its swinging bridge is a must!

Such a great place. The staff is friendly, they don't over price for ice and wood like other campgrounds. There's so much to do and look at. One of our favorite campgrounds in NC.

Been coming to the Boone KOA for many years. It's probably the most peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing setting I have ever camped at. Look forward this camping trip every year.

We came here to volunteer locally after the hurricane and this campground even offered discounts for volunteers! The staff and management here can’t be beat. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The other campers were friendly and considerate. We will definitely return to this KOA! (And did I mention the fresh baked Amish Friendship Bread available to purchase daily at the store?!)

Very friendly staff. Beautiful scenery! Activities for kids! Close to town, Great location for activities and restaurants if needed. Campsites have great access getting in and out. Parking would be a problem if more than 1 vehicle. Will be back soon!

We really didn’t spend much time at the campsite due to we were in town to help with the hurricane cleanup. We appreciated the discount you gave us for volunteering. The bathhouses were keep very clean, multiple times a day. The campsite pads were a little short where we noticed some people couldn’t keep their vehicles park there. We will return to this area to visit some of the local state

It was wonderful. Great nights sleep. Facility had all we needed. And Kristen was wonderful and extremely helpful. We were working with the disaster team and really needed a good nights sleep. And we were able to get that at the Boone KOA. Thank you and God bless.

KOA rescued us in Boone NC when our scheduled campground was flooded. As a special blessing we were given a half price discount for being volunteers in the hurricane relief. Our every need was met. Thank you so much!

We were there after Hurricane Helene. They had no water but the campground did all it could to assist the campers. The location is wonderful.

They were very accommodating. The bathrooms were fantastic. I'm a big bathroom person. I don't like dirty bathrooms. Theirs was well maintained. And the campground people were super nice. And the campground was well kept as well.

Campground was clean and appeared to be well cared for. Our site is a pull through with noce new gravel and a newer retaining wall. Nice picnic table and a small fire pit. The site is a bit tight for our 35' fifth wheel and our truck, but we squeezed them in. The site is only a little out of level, so we were able to easily level the rig up. Not far from Boone, NC, but very quiet and secluded in the hills.
