The lots were nice size. Staff was nice. Pool was clean and refreshing. Dog owners prior to the 4th were awesome!! Those arriving on the 4th why do YOU feel YOU don’t have to pick up after YOUR dog?? But this seems to be a common problem! Thanks for maintaining the roads during the rain storm!!

Though there were a lot of people there for holiday, it was quiet. Love the goats and things for kids to do. Nice cabins and very good restrooms and showers. Staff were very accommodating to me! Will stay again!

Nice facilities, terrific staff, beautiful location. The owner is very personable, warm, & adds so much to the pleasant atmosphere of KOA camping in the mountain setting. We have been coming there for many years, & really like the setting & overall experience there consistently.

First KOA experience. Really friendly staff and clean amenities. I wish the lots were a bit more spaced out but really liked the natural shade provided by the mature trees. Great location on the mountain too.

Nice KOA grounds and bath facilities. Pool was cold and kids enjoyed swimming. The goats were great fun and kids playground had slide, swings, and other fun activities. Enjoyed cool nights and sunny days.

We loved our week at the Boone KOA. A very well maintained rv park, good level and shaded park spots. Clean bath house and laundry area. Due to terrains, mountains etc satellite tv reception was spotty, no cable option. We travel with 2 dogs and really liked the open grass areas around park as well as a small fenced dog run.

only issue we had was so many folks were building campfires that didn't know how. the somke was horrible some days. other than that a wonderful stay! will come again. great friendly staff! James & Sandye

We had a great Experience. A bit of a challenge getting back to the Blue Ridge Parkway but had nothing to do with this awesome campground.

Good stay overall. Was a little disappointed in the size of the pool. Had a little bit of trouble pulling the RV out of the spot we stayed in with the tight turn and big tree. Noticed some dogs in the cabin area the first night we arrived not on a leash. It seems that campgrounds often have rules but they are not enforced.

We had a great stay at this beautiful campground in the mountains. Close to lots of waterfall hikes and right down the road from Elk Knob State Park with its amazing views from the summit. Already made our reservation for the fall!

The campground is lovely with lots of trees and shade. All the employees were nice. However at our site for some reason the internet was either spotty or non-existent which was unfortunate. Also be aware that your camper will require leveling.

The best part was a performance of Mountain music by a group from Ashe County. While I’m not a fan of the genre normally, it was magical to sit in the open on a mountain while listening to this historic form of music. Also I should have given 3 stars because our space was very uneven. At a the very least an RV park must have level spaces. Managers are nice.

Boone KOA is one of our favorite campgrounds and we try to visit several times a year! Kristina is always so friendly and welcoming, answering any questions we may have with a smile! We love it here and plan to be back at least once more before the end of the season! Always a great visit!

I love the location of the KOA and overall facilities are great. My toddler loves having various farm animals nearby and being able to feed the goats. The pool is a plus although pretty chilly.

Cool camping in the Blue Ridge. Older campground so sites tight and can be difficult for big rigs. Mature trees provide shade for almost all sites. Large tent area with families enjoying time together. Boone and Blowing Rock are great towns to explore. No cable or over air tv, but can stream with Wi-Fi. 1 bar on Verizon, but calls and texts are doable. Great staff. Did not use BR or showers

Very nice campground. Beautiful area, easy access, clean bathrooms. We were at the Boone KOA for 3 nights, starting on a Wednesday night. By Friday night, the campground appeared to be full. It is a great place for family gatherings. With the intense heat in the rest of the state, I’m sure this KOA will be full every weekend this summer.

Absolutely love this campground! So nice and cool there and lots of great places to visit nearby. The campground itself has everything you could want, from pool, to play areas to a goats and donkeys even. Lovely shaded RV spots, cabins and tent spaces. Very relaxing week. Nice store, laundry & club room. Can't wait to return! This will definitely become one of our regular campgrounds.

Accommodations were ok. Everything here is dated. The pool concrete hurts to walk on without shoes because it is chipping away. The bath house is very dated and wasn’t cleaned during our stay at all. Great value for sight but every fun thing to do for the kids costs another dollar.

First, the people at the Boone KOA are awesome. They keep the grounds and facilities clean and in great shape. This is important since this is an old KOA that has many spots that are tight/short. I think that when this campground was built the normal size sites were smaller. If you are going to stay at the Boone KOA I recommend calling the staff to insure the site you get meets your needs.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. The spots were VERY close together and really tight getting in and out of for larger trailers/rvs. Dog park was small, by the road, behind trash cans and on a hill so our pup wasn't a fan. We stayed on a busy weekend so was loud being so close together but over all not a bad park. Our son enjoyed the goats, mini golf, Play ground and pool.

We love Boone, this wasn't our first trip to a KOA but was our first time staying at the Boone KOA. It was all very clean including the bathrooms, and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the major downfalls for us was there are way too many sites on this property. You can literally touch your neighbor's camper from your patio/firepit.

Nice place. Internet much better this year. Was able to stream without much problem. Bathrooms could use updating. Nice showerheads would be an improvement. Yemassee SC KOA has the best showerheads we have ever used.

Visiting this campground a second time because it was so great the first time. Love this campground! Beautiful view, friendly people and great location.

I would have left 5 stars, cute campground but at 65 dollars a night I expect a hot if nothing else a warm shower in the morning. Also the pad I was on was pretty un even. I hope they get these issues fixed before the camping season kicks off.
