The staff are very professional and accommodating. We needed to upgrade from a tent to a cabin because of the weather and that was no problem. The facilities are well maintained and clean…everything you’d expect at a KOA campground.

We have enjoyed every visit we have made to this campground over the past 4 years! We typically make a trip in the summer and another in the later fall. We love to stay in the cabins. They are always clean and comfortable!

We wanted to take our 14 year old lab on what may be her final adventure. We took her years ago camping at this KOA, so we thought it would be a great place to take her again, We got the basic Kamping Kabin and we really think she enjoyed herself. We recommend this KOA, nice folks and clean accommodations. we couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice campground and the cabin was great. Close to Tweetsie Railroad and the town of Boone. We had an emergency and our son had to go to the hospital for a few days. They were so very understanding. Thank you so much! �

Unfortunately we came in with the storm but our hosts and the grounds were fantastic. We have stayed at the KOA in Boone multiple times and it has always exceeded expectations. Uncontrollable weather is just that but our host were gracious and kind.

Staff is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are clean. It would be nice for cabins to have more amenities: TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Overall it was a nice get away. This KOA is close enough to downtown Boone.

This is my wife and my favorite KOA. It's close to a lot of great attractions and restaurants. It's peaceful and a relaxing location. The staff are outstanding.

Kristina was so helpful getting our issue straightened out with KOA rewards. She recognized us immediately when we came into the office the morning after check in and, which is a small example of how efficient and capable she is. Our cabin was clean, the grounds were nice. The location is close to town and the price is fantastic. We felt very welcomed & will definitely stay again.

We came for a three night get away. Camp staff are friendly and helpful, bathrooms clean and camp grounds well maintained. We had a family emergency that cut our stay short. We checked out early yet 'late' for checking out. We are grateful to have seen a refund for one night on our final bill. Thank You so very much!

Me and my friend stayed in the Full service Cabin, and had a blast! This KOA is home to some very friendly people and is very quiet and peaceful compared to other KOAs I’ve stayed at. We stayed cool in the cabin thanks to the AC unit and slept great due to the comfortable beds. We even made a few fires thanks to the store offering all the supplies we needed to make a toasty fire. Thank you!

Rented a Park Model, it was in need of some help, sliding door did not close properly or lock from the outside. Kitchen was not very well equipped, needs some basic tools. Porch was not very clean, interior was not very nice or comfortable. KOA was not very good at what it had to offer for extra event. Bathroom door does not work properly.

Excellent. It's my home in the country. The goats, especially Oliver and Shirley are like my pets. My dog got away and the mgr brought him to my site. I woke up in the morning to deer in the field. The campground is conveniently located near town but in the country.

Our plans changed last minute with a RV malfunction. We called and they were able to switch our reservation to a kamping kabin easily so we could still enjoy our trip.

KOA has always been great, but I’m realizing that I can get a comfortable hotel room in town for cheaper than I’m paying for a cabin with no AC and a hike to the restrooms. Don’t think I’ll be back at KOA for the Highland Games next year, if I can sleep in a comfortable temperature and pay less in a hotel, I’ll be opting for that.

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
