Office people were friendly. Weekend hours were great. The grounds and bath houses were clean. The campground was dated with very little updated areas. Sits were somewhat level but mature trees with huge root systems were a problem.

We didn't have time to hang out at the campground as much as I would have liked. Everything was very well kept and clean. We really loved the large tree cover.

Beautiful location with the farm and trees. Staff are so kind. Hookups worked great and bath houses were clean. We give 4 stars because the two sites we have stayed at are not level. One site we stayed at in June was very difficult to park in.

Peaceful and tranquil! Plenty of areas to walk the pups plus a dog park. Several activities to keep you busy (if you want!), mini golf, pool, kids playground, KOA also had rock painting and a bluegrass band while we were there. Only 2 minor negatives to mention (only so you’re aware): the sites are pretty close together, makes it snug if you have a tow vehicle to park; and low water pressure.

We've stayed twice and loved it both times! Bathrooms within walking distance, hot water, good shower pressure, beautiful grounds-even the beds in the cabin were surprisingly comfortable!) Both my kids loved it too (17 and 3) Also lots to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Too many park models/seasonals! Other than that, the side was adequate, the hookups all worked fine, and the office/store was well equipped. What little interaction we did have with the staff was pleasant.

Very peaceful setting with beautiful views of the hills surrounding the campground. Friendly staff who keep the grounds neat and clean. Convenient to everything Boone and surrounding towns have to offer.

Stayed for a weekend, deluxe cabin. It was a wonderful stay with plenty to do and keep us busy. The kids had a blast and we will definitely be back.

Upon check-in there was a miscommunication regarding site assignment. Upon discovering the mistake and talking to the owner the issue was resolved. In fact the owner allowed the upgrade at the original price. That folks is outstanding customer service.

Great location and self laundry was reasonably priced. The store looked well stocked and there were several activities made available to campers. The parking spots were not level and on the small side for larger rigs. We were very glad the space behind us was empty when we left, allowing us to back up into it. A large tree in our space would make it very difficult to pull forward as designed.

It was a nice quiet country setting. Cabin bathroom was extremely small. Enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday evening. Staff were very friendly.

Grounds are very well kept. Camp sites are clean, functioning, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is our favorite KOA in the country!

Tent site was great! Nice grassy flat area for the tent and the covered area by the picnic table was perfect when it rained. The water spigot and power outlet by the picnic table was quite useful. Bathroom and showers were clean and great! A very well kept KOA in a beautiful area. Very quiet at night too!

Another awesome vacation at Boone KOA. We love staying here and look forward to going back each year. The staff are so professional and make you feel like family. Best campground hands down. Thank you for such a great vacation.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. Staff was friendly. The facilities where clean and the grounds appeared to well maintained. The campground is located on a cow farm and some have commented that the oder was bad. We did not notice any unpleasant oder. My only complaint was the hooks ups for the sites in front of me where recess back in my space. 4 of the sites for large rvs was like this.

The spaces are tight, but it's a nice campground otherwise. This was our second visit. The grandkids enjoyed the farm animal feedings.

We stay at this campground because it was in Boone and we wanted to stay where the temps were lower. The campground is nice enough but the campsites are really close to one another.

Second time at this KOA in Boone, NC. I love that it is at almost 4,000 feet in elevation. I was there in August for three nights and it was comfortable. Great staff.

Quite place, cooler than the city we live in by 10 to 20 degrees. the only 2 issues we had or have at most campgrounds is MUD and Smoke from bad Campfires. they paid the same as i so i understand. Love the staff, very friendly, very helpful. they smile! 'Thanks James Williamson

The cabin was fine however the shower head needs to be higher. Nothing to do at the campground itself except a small pool. Not the best location for a campground. The lady that checked us in wasn’t the friendliest.

We have stayed at the Boone KOA several times in the past. Has always been clean and quiet. Only problem I had is all the tree roots in site D-6. It was raining when we set up and in order to connect the water it meant walking/climbing over the roots which were very slippery.

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
