I love the location of the KOA and overall facilities are great. My toddler loves having various farm animals nearby and being able to feed the goats. The pool is a plus although pretty chilly.

Cool camping in the Blue Ridge. Older campground so sites tight and can be difficult for big rigs. Mature trees provide shade for almost all sites. Large tent area with families enjoying time together. Boone and Blowing Rock are great towns to explore. No cable or over air tv, but can stream with Wi-Fi. 1 bar on Verizon, but calls and texts are doable. Great staff. Did not use BR or showers

Very nice campground. Beautiful area, easy access, clean bathrooms. We were at the Boone KOA for 3 nights, starting on a Wednesday night. By Friday night, the campground appeared to be full. It is a great place for family gatherings. With the intense heat in the rest of the state, I’m sure this KOA will be full every weekend this summer.

Absolutely love this campground! So nice and cool there and lots of great places to visit nearby. The campground itself has everything you could want, from pool, to play areas to a goats and donkeys even. Lovely shaded RV spots, cabins and tent spaces. Very relaxing week. Nice store, laundry & club room. Can't wait to return! This will definitely become one of our regular campgrounds.

Accommodations were ok. Everything here is dated. The pool concrete hurts to walk on without shoes because it is chipping away. The bath house is very dated and wasn’t cleaned during our stay at all. Great value for sight but every fun thing to do for the kids costs another dollar.

First, the people at the Boone KOA are awesome. They keep the grounds and facilities clean and in great shape. This is important since this is an old KOA that has many spots that are tight/short. I think that when this campground was built the normal size sites were smaller. If you are going to stay at the Boone KOA I recommend calling the staff to insure the site you get meets your needs.

Beautiful campground the people in the office Mary and Kristen are outstanding. They help you in anyway they can. We would definitely stay here again.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. The spots were VERY close together and really tight getting in and out of for larger trailers/rvs. Dog park was small, by the road, behind trash cans and on a hill so our pup wasn't a fan. We stayed on a busy weekend so was loud being so close together but over all not a bad park. Our son enjoyed the goats, mini golf, Play ground and pool.

We booked a week, on the way in our motorhome had a problem and had to be towed to a shop. I called the KOA spoke to Mary, she was so helpful and found us a cabin, the repairs took longer than expected and Mary and Kristin helped us to find accommodations, they went out of the way to help us. The entire staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed the campground! Would stay there again !!!

We love Boone, this wasn't our first trip to a KOA but was our first time staying at the Boone KOA. It was all very clean including the bathrooms, and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the major downfalls for us was there are way too many sites on this property. You can literally touch your neighbor's camper from your patio/firepit.

Nice place. Internet much better this year. Was able to stream without much problem. Bathrooms could use updating. Nice showerheads would be an improvement. Yemassee SC KOA has the best showerheads we have ever used.

This KOA is good, but not great. No small fridge in the cabins and only 3 showers to use were downers. With no fridge or TV, i felt the price should have been lower. The location and the goats were positives. The place was clean.

This is a great location, out of the way of city noises, but close enough to run out for a bite to eat on the town.

We had a great time! The site was impeccable. The staff were kind. Out kids loved the goats, pool, putt putt, and playground. We look forward to returning!!!

Very nice staff. We didn't have a fire pit and the staff brought us one right away. The area where our tent sat was clean and bathrooms were clean

Well, we arrived on Tuesday and went to our site and realized our site was to small for our rig. We went to the office and they changed our site and it was great. The next morning, we prepared to leave, and our truck would not start, so we went to the office and explained our problem and they helped us find a place to have it fixed. We stayed four days, met great people and had a blast. Thanks!

Campsites was loud and the campsites next to us kept lights on till around 2 am…. There was a normous amount of fire ants and pinchers where tents are. Place wasn’t open on time.

Boone KOA is located in such a lovely setting! It is far away from the town(Boone) hustle and bustle to unwind and enjoy nature. It is also, close enough to Boone downtown, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis to enjoy all that is offered there! It was fun to hear the children enjoying their summer activities and their laughter each morning as I had coffee on the deck of the cabin I had rented.

After being here for a while, more than a week, I think some things could be improved. When the camp group dons full it feels overcrowded. The sites could be improved for level and general maintenance. There are only two bathrooms/toilets and when the place is full they can get pretty grungy.

We were initially given a tent spot with no shade or shelter, then charged $5.00 for changing. If there had been asphalt on the 1st 150 entering the KOA, that may have worked out ok, but with all of the dust - from vehicles entering and leaving - I feel like were punished twice, i.e., an extra $5 fee, plus being dusted too many times by vehicles on the dirt road.

It is a pretty good location to Boone NC and the surrounding area. Full hook ups are nice, not too expensive. But the gravel roads make for a dusty mess and the sites are on the side of a hill, which can make views good, but set up harder. Also getting in and out of the sites is a little precarious if you have a longer unit. I like the staff they are helpful and work hard to keep it nice.

The grounds and bathrooms were clean. They have goats you can feed, which is unique. There’s also a pool and putt putt. The stay would’ve been perfect if the people beside of us hadn’t gotten intoxicated and started fighting at 9pm and carried on until after midnight when my boyfriend had to go out and calm the situation.

Small sites for class A we only have a 37 ft. Wi-Fi works ok but as campground fills it slows down. Campground was clean.

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
