We really enjoy the Boone KOA and the friendly and helpful staff. The scenery is beautiful and the goats are fun to watch.

Staff is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are clean. It would be nice for cabins to have more amenities: TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Overall it was a nice get away. This KOA is close enough to downtown Boone.

This is my wife and my favorite KOA. It's close to a lot of great attractions and restaurants. It's peaceful and a relaxing location. The staff are outstanding.

The road leading to the campground is very small with tight turns for a 43 foot 5th wheel. The campground is nice, especially being between cows and the donkey/goat/chicken pastures. Enjoyed all of the animals!

Nice staff and professional. Facility over all was good. Did not like the close proximity to each other and some of the sites it was difficult to hook up sewer and water, for us old folks, but would go back there again.

This is our fourth straight year that I have brought our Airstream Caravan to Boone KOA. Our caravaners love coming here because it’s close to a lot of places to see, and the campground is very well maintained and has more than ample meeting and events space. Kristina and her team always takes great care of our group!

Airstream caravan with 15 trailers. Hosts are very accommodating. Only thing that could be improved is to sweep down all the spiders in the laundry.

Kristina was so helpful getting our issue straightened out with KOA rewards. She recognized us immediately when we came into the office the morning after check in and, which is a small example of how efficient and capable she is. Our cabin was clean, the grounds were nice. The location is close to town and the price is fantastic. We felt very welcomed & will definitely stay again.

Was awesome in every way. I loved the tent site.loved the electric and water in site. Loved the bathrooms and bath house. Freaking WiFi in camp. that was a first. A good place to stay for sure. I will go back

The only negative thing I could say is that we were told we got the last site available....and I know the weather may have caused some cancellations but I truly cannot believe it would be quite THAT many. Our site was definitely unlevel so bring some levelers or boards you need otherwise beautiful woodsy park.

It was a quiet campground and everything was tidy. The internet was not enough for streaming and there was no cable, as I have seen at most other KOAs.

Staff very helpful about nearby attractions and recommendations. Very relaxing! Showers and Laundry are super clean and nice.

Good Camp ground. We were in E3. Sites were close together and not level front to back. and sewer was in a strange spot. (Compared to most KOAs) it was also on the side of a mountain so can’t fuss too much. The KOA itself was clean. Good amenities and nice staff. Pretty convenient location - just up a mountain haha.

The road leading to the campground was very narrow and extremely curvy. Two large vehicles could not pass each other. Also, we were hauling a car and could not back up. On the way up there was a dip on the shoulder and that could have been disastrous. Also, the sewer connection at the sight needs to be raised, some of them had wood surrounding them which would make it impossible to attach the hose

We were only there for one night, so we didn't have much time, but we liked the campground. The laundry room was great, and clean! The animals were a fun perk, and the signage on the way to the campground was valuable. As is the case with most KOAs, the sites are tight, but for one night, we didn't really mind too much.

We came for a three night get away. Camp staff are friendly and helpful, bathrooms clean and camp grounds well maintained. We had a family emergency that cut our stay short. We checked out early yet 'late' for checking out. We are grateful to have seen a refund for one night on our final bill. Thank You so very much!

We had a great time. The employees were friendly and informative. We and our dogs enjoyed visiting with the goats, donkeys and cows. We stay at KOA’s quite often. This was probably the smallest one we’ve been to. Our site was a bit small for our 26’. They were all pull throughs which was great. It was clean and quiet. Overall another positive experience at KOA.

We love Boone and now that we have found a nice and clean campground, we can’t wait to plan multiple trips back. The bathrooms/shower houses were clean as well as the grounds. Service was great and they have a good verity of stuff in the front office.

Fabulous staff. Easy check-in. Clean bathrooms and overall campground. The campground was packed and most of the other campers were friendly and courteous. Our site was level but full of tree roots making it difficult to place our chairs and other camp furniture. This campground is dog-friendly and most, no all, picked up after their pets.

Sites are to close together. No room for your vehicle. The dump station behind us. We had to move the firepit in front of our camper. No amenties. We would not stay there again.

The staff are super helpful and nice. Most sites are at least a bit shaded but everyone found a way to connect to their satellites. Wifi is fine, not great. Showers and baths are clean with good water pressure even though they are a bit dated. On site putt putt is designed for little ones but made me feel very accomplished. LOL. Grounds are nice and attended to frequently. Lots to do within driving distance.

After many years of camping up at the Boone KOA, it still is the best, most relaxing and enjoyable place to camp. You won't be disappointed. Simple but has everything you need. Quiet, peaceful, a few donkeys and even a cow or two in the distance. Just a great place.
