Great week at Boone KOA. The mountains are open, beautiful and need our support. No better place to camp than at this little piece of heaven just outside Boone. Good folks and good times.

This was our first time camping at the Boone KOA and we were extremely pleased! The campground is so clean and well taken care of. The amenities are very family friendly. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit! The campground is super close to all the attractions in the area, but the setting makes you feel as though you are many miles away in a secluded mountain area.

Nice location in a beautiful area. Staff were courteous and friendly. Two problems: First, the sites are on top of each other; very crowded. Second, the site that we had wasn't level. We have 4" of leveling capability and we were still 2.5" out of level.

Staff helped to accommodate our multi site reservations. Excellent upgrades to the little cabins since my last stay. Bathrooms and grounds were clean. Definitely a great place to stay.

Having the store is convenient. Our tent campsites was Number 10. We had to clean so much dog poop when we arrived just in order to set up tents.it is on a corner and is frequented by many dogs. You have a marked dog poop can at the restroom. Yuck!

It’s was great. Wasn’t loud, except for kids having funfun, like they should and the WiFi was great. We would go back again. The staff was friendly and my wife loved the small animals. You can buy food to feed them for 25 cents. Overall it was a great stay.

Very clean restrooms, close to all of the activities that we enjoy doing, very child friendly if you have kids or grandkids and I look forward to coming back with grandchildren one day

Boone location, great. Activities/amenities, great. Staff, SUPER. It’s just an older campground and so sites are SO close together. Sitting in your chair or at picnic table you’re within feet of your neighbor’s sewer connection. Not a good outdoor experience. I’m sure kids love it though! Holiday live music (Hwy 194) was great!!

Nice views. Camper pull through pad was fairly level considering this campground is in the mountains. Beautiful mountain laurel bushes and large trees all around. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had a very nice stay at Boone KOA. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area offers many beautiful hikes and towns to visit. We look forward to visiting again in the fall.

Very beautiful area and well maintained. Friendly and knowledgeable staff taking care of our needs and requests. Kid friendly with play ground, putt-putt and petting zoo with goats and donkeys. There are some low hanging limbs on the road but none harmful. Just had to watch and avoid them. Evidently the county maintenance department is still overwhelmed after Helene and can’t tend to regular tas

Everything was as expected, the only issue I had was I was in the smallest campsite with a big drop off on the pull out side of the site due to the driveway being washed out. There were others site open, but I didn't' realize how many open spots there were until after I had already set up.

Not sufficient parking for our tow vehicle even though it’s a tiny smart car, and the internet did not work the bulk of our time there but otherwise an okay campground. Beautiful area.

Very clean an organized campground. Friendly staff! Putt Putt and the donkey's and goats were a great addition to our stay. On-site laundry was helpful as well.

I have stayed here a few times. It's a nice, quiet, well maintained place. Cooler temperatures and dog run are a plus. Animal lovers be sure to check out the goats and donkeys! Looking forward to my next visit:)

Thank you for your kind hosting us. Ladies and gentlemen were nice and took care of things. Well run. Mainly permanent party here and we had a great walk up the hill. I used the pool as the weather was perfect 7/15/26 however raining earlier in the week. I believe only open in spring and summer so just check. Boone main St area close by however parking downtown very difficult.

We had a good spot starlink didn't work to good cause we were under trees but the wifi from the campground was pretty good pet friendly swimming pool there were alot of people staying there
