First and foremost I have to give a huge shoutout to Danny! He was absolutely great! It was the first leg of our trip and I have to say that The Badlands far exceeded our expectations. The proximity to everything there was great. We will definitely be back!

We just love this KOA! The people are so friendly, the bathrooms, pool area, everything is so clean and the campsites are great. This is our 4th stay here!

This camp is only camp w shade. Our visit was blessed w temperatures exceeding 100, shade was king! There’s a refreshing pool. CLEAN bathrooms. There is food service (also critical when so hot). If in the Badlands, this IS the camp!

The only issue we had were people walking through our site. We noticed most of these were people in rental rv’s.

This was my first KOA. The staff was great, restrooms, showers and laundry were clean (except exhaust and room fans), wifi was excellent. The dog park was exceptional, with an elevated tub to cool off my pup! Besides the over-100° daytime temperatures, we had way too many flies, mosquitoes, and toads. My dog mouthed a toad a few times a day (even on leash), which I treated each time.

VERY quiet. Nice area. Misquotes and biting flies were HORRIBLE. Not exactly the camps fault as the white river was right there and apparently it had rained quite a bit so lots of standing water for breeding ground. They did fog the camp to help keep the numbers down. Wish they would do that at a different time as 6 in the morning was a bad time if you are tenting.

Really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It was a short 10-15 min drive from Ranger Station and the Cedar Pass Cafe. It was a peaceful area with a creek that runs through it. Loved the pool and laundry facilities. The breakfast/dinner barn was nice to fall back on. Campstore had all the necessities and some gifts. Bathrooms were clean. Putt putt area was just overgrown with grass. Nice dog park.

Nice pull through level site. Flys were an issue but they sprayed for them. Not a campground specific issue though because the flys were in the National park also. Good food at the KOA food shack. Decent campground overall.

Great stay! Very close to Interior and Badlands! Talk to local owners in Interior about changes through the years! Great hikes through the Badlands- take your time and then come back to relax at the campground!

Good proximity campground was clean no issues with staff. My only issue was on Saturday morning at 6 am they started spraying for mosquitoes I guess or bugs. They started a very loud machine that put out alot of smoke and drove through the campground. Filled our camper with smoke because our windows were open. No warning at all. That ruined our experience at this KOA.

Great park! The facilities & grounds are well maintained and in excellent condition. The hosts were very friendly and helpful guiding us to our site and insuring we were set up without any issues or questions. The hosts were diligent in maintaining the parks/sites in great shape. The park exceeded my expectations in both service & conditions. Highly recommend! Would stay again without hesitation.

The staff was pleasant but the smell of the sewer ponds was too much. We would not stay there again for that reason.

All the amenities were great but the little pod we stayed in was not so great. You might as well sleep on the deck outside cause it’s hard as a rock and the a/c above your bed was like a train passing by. Loud.

Location was superb, the flies were a bit much. Owner fogged the day we left so I imagine it was just a bad time of year. All facilities were top notch!!

Great place to stay but the flies are terrible. Probably not much can be done about that. Pancakes are very good.

We were close to Badlands which was great. We also visited Wall. Pool was cool but clean. Used the dog park. Enjoyed the pancake breakfast and dinner one night. This was a good campground.

It was OK. Pool was nice, albeit very small. So, so many flies. We washed our picnic table with soap and water because there were hundreds swarming it. A man was throwing a rock on a field mouse when we arrived. The bathrooms had dead roaches everywhere. SInk outside the bathroom that was filled with water and floating food, disgusting. No lights outside bath house. Wouldn't stay again.

We travel across the country often and everyone in our party agreed that it was the worse experience that we have ever had. They had a greyhound bus full of young adults that were out of control. They were in our campsite running between the picnic table and our tent, bumping into the tent, and that went on until late into the night. They were in the bathrooms looking under the stalls and more.

We apologize, and the group has been banned from this park. Maybe next time something is not as you would like, say something a the time so we have a chance to fix the issue.

We love KOA's and this one was no exception. The only thing that kept it from being a perfect score is the flies. We had do many flies at our dite we couldn't enjoy sitting outside. We didn't have any open food or garbage out either. We had to sit in our trailer when there or be away from it. Ot was well shaded & maintained. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, and the pool was great!

I really wanted to like is place. It smelled like sewer both days we were there. I mentioned it to the staff and was told that others had noticed it also. It was bad enough that we had to cover our faces at night while sleeping to try and limit the smell. We were not offered a chance to move. Unfortunately, this was so bad that it cannot be overlooked. I will also be leaving more reviews online.

Strong smell of sewage everywhere. They warned the night before by text they were fogging for bugs at 6 am, although cell service was not good. The tent campers had to take shelter in their cars to escape the fumes. They sprayed the the tables in the shelter where people eat, yum. There was brown scum on the floor in the women's shower. Staff were friendly. Pool was clean. Sites ok and flat.

We were only at the Badlands KOA for one night, which was really nice. The bathrooms were VERY clean and the staff were super friendly. We had a site that backed up to the white river. There were a TON of flies and mosquitoes - like to the point where it was impossible to be outside of your camper, but the campground was on it and fogged the following day. We left that day but I am sure it helped.

Top-notch in every way. Nice surroundings, helpful, friendly staff, and we lost the key to one of the cabins and they didn’t even charge us for us for losing it.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
