All in all, it was a good campground. I just don't understand why they charged a resort fee for every night. There really was nothing resort about this KOA.

I arrived at the opposite side of the Badlands Park so it was a rough long ride to the KOA. Once there it was a great location though a bit secluded. If you’re going to stay a while come prepared because there’s little choice of food stores. The surrounding area is beautiful & the drive across the Grasslands was incredible. Of course don’t miss the trip to Wall!

The house was disgusting. It was filthy and stunk really badly. There were stains all over the carpet, the drains were clogged and water wouldn't drain, there were flies and bugs everywhere, and the primary mattress collapsed through the bed frame when we sat on it. This place should NOT be rentable.

I am shocked that they are able to maintain the KOA brand. The individual that checked us in was rude and seemed annoyed by me. There was only one working toilet for all the tent sites. It was dirty with structural damage. The shower house was disgusting; who knows when it was last cleaned. Mold everywhere, sinks, doors and hooks broken, and so many bugs. Finally it was extremely overpriced.

Very run down. Bathrooms and showers not operating/closed or falling apart. Grounds were super messy and dirty with debris and leafs, not cleaned up at all. Worst KOA we have ever been to.

From check in to check out we had a really good experience. Quiet all night. Bathroom/shower house was clean. The night sky was simply Amazing.

Its a beautiful place. They need to make it clear that the heat is just a space heater and do more to prevent wasps getting in the cabins, or at least sell wasp killer. A fly swatter isn't going to cut it with wasps. The fan looked like no one has cleaned it in a decade, thick dust on all the blades to the point I sure wouldnt use it. Would stay again in a bigger cabin with those items addressed.

We rented a cabin(owners house) there was no welcome clean feeling. The deck had 3 inches of dirt and leaves, the kitchen had roaches, the sliding door handle was broke, had to be a football player to open it, the bed collapses at the foot because it wasn't connected properly. Our coffee maker stopped working the first morning and it was an act of God to get another one Poor service from Mgr too

The bathrooms were not cleaned. The same dead spider was smeared on the shower floor for days. There wasn't any soap in the men's bathroom. We had to initial a clause regarding being responsible if experiencing any covid symptoms but the campground is not doing its part to help prevent covid/flu. Bathrooms SHOULD be cleaned daily! The site was shady and clean. It's a convenient location.

It was great except for the bugs...didn't expect that. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean and spacious. We will be back again sometime. There's too much to see and do and we only did a little.

The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and there were trees for shade! It is the perfect camping location in the Badlands!

Enjoyed the location and the employee we interacted with. Did not enjoy the one working bathroom that had no working lights & a door that wouldn’t lock. Would stay again if bathrooms are in better condition

My husband and I stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. The Cabin was very cute and satisfied our needs however needed some maintenance issue addressed (toilet seat was falling off and AC was not adequate) The cabin also needed a good cleaning. There were many cobwebs in the corners and along walls, window blinds were so dusty dirty if they were accedently touched it sent much dust/dirt flying.

The cabin was not freshly cleaned when we arrived. There were dead bugs everywhere and about an inch of dust on the blades of the ceiling fan. I look forward to the 4 inch foam mattress on plywood that I have become familiar with at most KOAs, but the mattress offered here was incredibly hard. The bathrooms near our cabin were clean but in very poor condition. The showers were disgusting.

We did not have a reservation, but there were plenty of available spots. Strange, but we were put right next to another person, when there were so many other available spots. The people we were next to were very nice, but when you have so many available spots, one would think you would space them out a bit.

Maybe low score as we are in the fall season and most thing are closing for the winter season. Was a nice facility, but traveling with friends and I don't know if it was the booking site they use or what, but traveling with friends and we wanted to stay together and when checking in and once checked, tried to move, but no sites together. IN the end, there were many sites together

Worst KOA customer service ever. The lady upon arrival had to be the most uncomfortable interaction I have encountered. Checked in around 1:45 or so. Very rude and strange behavior. Very agitated when I asked for a better sight, park was not crowded at all. Seems customer service is not for her. Positive note, Daniel in maintenance was very nice. Give him a raise. Put her elsewhere.

Place needs an upgrade and maintenance. Tiles are falling off the shower stalls. Shower /bathrooms are just gross. Stools and fixtures are stained, rusted, just plain bad. $90 per night is expensive for what this sight offers. Also, they charge for bedding if you were to rent their cabins. They should tell you that in advance that it is not included. The place is not what it use to be!

While the campground is nice and quite, the bathrooms are less than KOA standard. Toilets in the womens and mens would not flush fully, the mens only had one stall that was operational at all, and there was no hand soap in either bathroom.

Nice place and our spot was great. Really close to Badlands National park. Had pizza one night and it was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only concern were burrs getting in dogs feet when walking. But time of year may have contributed to this issue

The office staff are very friendly and helpful, the store is well provisioned - perfect for weary travelers! As we were leaving, the woman staffing the office gave us directions to our next stop via a scenic route which was absolutely perfect and stunningly beautiful. The campground was clean, quiet, cozy and friendly!

Rv lot size was good, liked having shad trees, lots to space to walk our dog, friendly staff, well kept sites, cell phone signal was some what a shortfall.

Very nice campground. Lots of room for a morning walk with my dog. Never had to sign off on as many rules and regulations. On thing I found interesting, I had to sign off on "no drone flying", reasonable, but the cover picture on your brochure was from a drone. Interesting....

The campground was very nice, lots of trees for shade and very quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We have already recommended the campground to our son and his family. Thank you for such a great experience.

It is run down. Generally in sad condition. Also , the layout is confusing and unmarked in some places. Many people had to get out and try to figure it out. Staff was unfriendly. Wi-Fi was sketchy. There were a couple of dead trees right over some camp sites. This place needs a major rehab

Where to start? Of all the KOA's we stayed at this one for some odd reason just didn't stack up. It was quite and convenient, but the water pressure was so far off the tankless water heater wouldn't function. Heard other people complaining about this also. The young lady at the front desk was unpersonable and didn't seem like she wanted to be there.

Old worn out tiny bathrooms and showers. Tiles falling off or missing. Staff indifferent, not very considerate, and not friendly. Location close to Badlands is the only reason we stayed.

When I checked in the team in the office was super friendly. Later in the week when I ordered a pizza, less so. Spot was good, Dog area was great.

The person at check-in was not friendly and just recited a list of things. The utility connections were spaced too far apart making it almost impossible to park without needing to use extensions. Restrooms were only marginally clean. Site signage was poor and we noticed several people having to drive around several times to find their sites. This is not up to the standards of a Holiday park.

The cabin was horrible. Stained with dog urine, broken patio door, no water pressure, clogged sinks, the smell was overwhelming. Can’t believe they allow that cabin to be rented out. Disgusting!

We stayed in a camping cabin that appeared not to have been cleaned for quite some time. There was a significant buildup of dust on the ceiling fan and surrounding areas, and the cabin floor was noticeably dirty, with dust and hair throughout. While the bathroom floors and sinks appeared to be cleaned regularly, the showers in the main bathhouse had visible mildew and there was missing tiles.

Well, you just stayed at a KOA and Wisconsin Dells for our first time. I was so surprised at how wonderful it was. Everything was ready for us. Beds were made everything was done. It was just amazing. We checked into your KOA. We opened up our door and there’s just a plastic mattress on the bed… it went downhill from there

I spent one night here in October. There were still leaves on the trees, so the site was shaded. Staff was friendly and shower room was clean. It's a great location not far from the national park.

Had reservations at another local campground but once we saw it decided to find somewhere else. Checking in was easy and the staff was friendly. Decent WiFi gor those who can't live without it. Had free golf and very spacious camp sites. The closest set of facilities was mostly out of order but there was another not far and it was perfectly fine gor a campground shower house. Water was hot and the pressure was good. Would definitely stay here again instead one of the other places.

We are on a cross country National Park road trip with our 4 kids. We booked at this location bc it was outside the Badlands and it had a yurt. Pros: If I could give the yurt 10 stars I would. Very cool experience. Location was right down the road from the National park and it has all the amenities plus a pool. Loved that they make pizza and wings onsite and are open late. The mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we have slept on during our vacation and that includes an Alaskan cruise… everyone should have as nice of a sleeping setup as this! Pro/ Con: Every KOA we stayed at including the cabins without bathrooms supplied towels for bathhouse. I knew we would be arriving late and worried about them being closed I called to see if they would put the towels in our yurt in which I found out this location doesn't supply you with? My oldest has worked w KOA in the past and her cabins were supplied and every cabin we booked did so we were caught off guard. I made sure linens would be supplied when I booked and every location that supplied linens also supplied towels? I asked to speak to the manager to make sure they young lady was correct and I was transferred to the man who said he owns 18 KOAs and has never done such? Anyways he did make a exception this time and we are grateful for that. Cons: When I called about the towels the young staff was very dull and unengaging. Also seemed that way at Checkin. They weren't rude but def not the KOA customer service friendly standard we are used to. Now later that night my husband went in to order pizza and wings and had a very nice interaction with them so it's not all of them. The main complaint and con we have are the bathhouse bathrooms, specially showers. Very unsanitary. Full of mold and mildew and are in need of a very good deep clean with a pressure washer with bleach. The only shower in women's with water pressure was the middle. The other 2 just trickle. My husband said men's shower did not drain and water goes all over the floor. I would also like to see the ac turned on as it was extremely hot when we arrrived and took forever to cool down the yurt to make it comfortable. I would def stay there again but I would love to see action taken on these issues.
